@@platinumpursuitoutdoors definitely a compliment! Most people just fly through the techniques. You and Greg staggs do the best how to videos. Good luck this year
No kidding. I watched the links that H2 sent me on install and thought I would never be able to do it. Found this link, and you broke it down simple style, and after a couple of rewinds I got it done. Thanks for the help. Awesome instructional video!
Incredibly helpful. Thank you for posting. Used this to put a cruzr adjustable bridge on my mantis. They have a similar design except there is only 1 continuous amsteel loop and a spiced eye on the bridge. By far the best video i could find!
Only issue I have with my Triad is it’s not easily adjustable. Once set, I have to forcibly feed slack into the schwabisch hitch and manually loosen the loops in order to adjust back to transport mode. Love the bridge but wish it was more easily adjusted during hunts.
Trying to figure this out because it's not working for me like it works for you in the video. What knot is that you were using and maybe I can look that up and try to figure it out that way.
My cruser xc came with an amsteel bridge but after my weight was in it I had a real hard time to get it release to adjust . I replaced it with a tubular webbing bridge . I think they were prussick hitch but it was a couple years back . Awesome tutorial I think I'm gonna switch back now with swabisch hitches on each end Where do you get the "kit " from h2 ?
I’m not sure what you mean by an inline 8? But technically you could use any knot that would have enough bite to bite down on the lineman‘s loop. This particular not bites extremely well.
Is there a way to tie the Distel on a continuous loop like you did the Swabisch? I have a continuous loop that I want to use for my Tether to tie a Distel but I can't for the life of me figure out how to the it with a loop.
Your bridge and loops look much more supple than mine are. Mine are rather stiff. They’re all black and feel like they’re coated in shoe polish like wax. Those swabish knots were a PITA to get tied but the real bummer is they are so tight they won’t slide.
Paul Crave that’s odd. Mine were black starting out. I have used mine quite a bit toying around with them. I can tie the schwabisch knot in about 15 second each loop. I can assemble and unassembled in under a min prob. Once you get the hang of it in that you invert it it becomes easy.
Aaron Wright Outdoors the rope feels like it’s coated in wax or something. The knots really bind up hard making them really hard to break lose to move them. I ended up making both the Prussic and the schwabisch with one fewer loops and they still bind super tight. I’m going to try some other Amsteel I have laying around for the bridge. It doesn’t feel waxy like the tribridge t Rope I got from H2
@@paulcrave3112 just got he Triad. Mine is the say way. Lots of wax coating and really stiff. Makes securing the bridge and adjusting the knots more difficult. With use and time the ropes should work themselves out eventually I think.
@@slaphappychappy I've moved mine several times and it's a huge effort each time. I hunted with it this morning and there was no way it was going to adjust with cold fingers. I gave up. It sucks.
dbuckner902010 I personally have not had and experience with a whoopie sling bridge. Having said that, I have no problems at all with the TriAd Bridge.
I would double check the schwabish (however it's spelled) hitch to make sure it is installed correctly. I have not had that problem. If you want to connect on IG or FB maybe you could send one pics and I will try to help you trouble shoot??
I had the same issue with mine, I was really frustrated but after undoing it and doing it over and over many time I realized I had installed it incorrectly, now its easy to move, looks better and feels better, hopefully you got it figured out,
pahuntnut It’s adjustable. You can shorten or lengthen it. Also you can change the pressure setting on your saddle by using the prusik knots and moving them on the hip loops.
I climb DRT and climbing with a long bridge is unnecessarily difficult. Adjustable bridge lets me shorten it while I climb, and then at hunting height I can lengthen for comfort and range of motion.
Great video, just what i needed to see. I ordered one of these a few days ago. Update: I received my Triad Bridge in the mail today, and with the help of your video i got it installed and working. It took me a few tries, but i got there. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for this video… I ordered the bridge but there were no directions… this video hooked me up!!!
Hey your welcome!
This is a very quality video. Nicely explained.

Amazing instructions. New to saddle hunting and the way you showed the step by step instead of the old "repeat for other side".

Excellent video. Clear instructions, good views of the knots.

How much mileage do you have on your bridge? Is it relatively new?

You’re welcome! And yes, you can get it right from H2 website
awesome
Is the bridge rope amsteel that has been fed into itself?
The H2 Triad is not. And it doesn’t have to. Everyone else does though
I like this tutorial, but seems complicated. Why not use one rope and use an inline eight on either side?
I’m not sure what you mean by an inline 8? But technically you could use any knot that would have enough bite to bite down on the lineman‘s loop. This particular not bites extremely well.

It's right about the 13"mark
Great detailed video
What size Amsteel is the continuous loops made out of?
I’m thinking 3/16”
That’s awesome I don’t know I have not seen this till now or even heard of it would you prefer this over a whoopie sling bridge ?
dbuckner902010 I personally have not had and experience with a whoopie sling bridge. Having said that, I have no problems at all with the TriAd Bridge.
Mine does not move that easy, has alot of waxy coating on rope. Have to fight to get it to unlock.

Yes, it is very easy to have something twisted which makes it harder. But it should work relatively easily.
Mine is from h2 and is hard to loosen once i have pressure. I have to use both hands and “ break” the knot before i can adjust
There have been times mine has gotten “stuck”. If you twist the knot with your right and left hand it seems to help.
Whats the advantage of this over the standard brigde?

Yes

What’s the amsteels diameter ?
1/4” on bridge the next size small on the loops
I’m using 7/64 amsteel loop for prusiks... I hope it could be enough for my “only” 330 lbs...
