Ren has shouted out reactors so many times, watched reactors on Twitch with us, and sent out links to tracks early to a few big channels so they could react asap. Here's the thing about Humble.
Starts off with a guitar riff that tickles every neuron in your brain
Then Eden comes in and you're all "Holy fucking SHIT this VOICE!!!! HOLY FUCKING SHIT THIS DELIVERY!!!! OMG THE LYRiCS!!!!"
... and before you can even BEGIN to absorb the LAYERS of perfection streaming into your brain through your ears...
... Ren comes in with the energy of a thousand suns, lol.
I don't know how to say that without it sounding like it's a slight to Eden's verse, because I swear to god Eden's parts in this song are PERFECTION and I don't think the track would be as perfect if she wasn't there, but my god does Ren explode on this track.

I'm still trying to figure out whether Ren plays trombone or not. Can't remember if I saw him list it in an interview or a Twitch stream, or whether it was a comment someone left under a video somewhere (ie, that would mean I haven't substantiated it)?
besides the mouth trombone? lol
I think he said in one of the _really_ early interviews with a video magazine that he did play.. but like the drums, in his words, "not very well".
In the Missing Chapter 1, there is a super short video clip of him playing trombone.

@@MissyGail4eva Yep - I played French horn; I don't *think* the trombone part in Humble is too difficult for someone to pull off, if they had a good enough embouchure to get a decent tone on the instrument? But I could be wrong - I've never played trombone myself; I could be missing nuances of what takes agility on the instrument.
... also, I'm not sure how much credit to give to Ren's "I don't play x instrument very well" ...
a) he's humble
b) he knows music well enough to know that being able to play something on an instrument doesn't mean you're *good* at it
c) he's pretty amazing on guitar, and when you're really good at an instrument, how you talk about playing other instruments is relative to your main instrument. For example, I've played piano for 44 years and I'm very good at that, even though I've never pursued it to perform, I play at a performance level. I also played French horn, but I'd say I didn't play it very well. Except I *studied* it for 6 years; I played plenty well!
d) he's not actually shit at drums - he just says that because he's aware a proper drummer is better than he is (and see A above, lol), and also, whether he says it in conjunction with "I'm not very good at drums" or not, what he *wants* to do is play guitar. Also not sure if he can sing while playing drums? Or... whether his ability to play anything more than basic patterns on drums while singing, is limited? Which would have limited the band's performance. So when he says "I'm not very good on the drums" while he's actually not shit at playing the drums, it then casts doubt on it when he tells us he's "not very good" at trombone, lol.
TL;DR - I'd love to know who played what on Humble!
Ren said he has some “new” collaborations (from the hard drives) with Eden Nash coming in future albums!!

I would love for him to do the original and the remix. I love the remix but I wish the second verse from the original hadn't been cut out. It's my favorite part of the original. Most underrated Ren Track!
The people giving you hate for playing so much hate for playing Ren must not be Renegades. Otherwise they would realize even if you were monetized Ren is thankful to all the reactors that play his music. It helps Ren and it helps the reactors. Ren wants everyone to succeed and if his music helps others struggling also he’s good with that!

I love you and your “put people in their place” pep talks, I really do!! I cannot stand people constantly dragging on others. I always think about Ren’s song Seven Sins, “Envy, that’s when one man’s win is another man’s frenzy” anytime I come across keyboard warriors that have nothing better to do with their lives than envy other people’s successes and/or happiness.
