Great to hear about the power pole charging devices in Australia. I'm in Perth with a new EV and no garage/on-street parking only. This gives me great ammo to go and talk to the local council abkut more investment in EV infrastructure!!
Hi.. and thanks for your news. Some Questions about Atto3. Why can we not see a logg over the charging and most of all of the calculation, and if it calculare the batterie in each charge session. Now you need to sitt in the car and check the last 3 minutes if it calculate .. And what about the intelegent teratur controll system... what is that all about.. Is it possible for you to send this request to BYD.. or include the questions in one of your video News. The very best from Sweden
Its all about keeping the Australian public chained to the fossil fuel industry by buying a hydrogen vehicle, which currently are at least 70 grand or more. Hydrogen is 4 times more volatile than petrol, so to me, you are driving a time bomb done the road, I think I will survive a major crash in my Ev rather than a hydrogen vehicle especially if there is a breach to the hydrogen tanks because of a serious accident. There is so much infrastructure that will need to be put in place, both transporting and retrofitting petrol stations to store and sell hydrogen, the cost is astronomical. Good for the transport industry, truck, buses, ships maybe even aircraft but I will never buy a hydrogen vehicle as with my Ev I charge for free with my 100 percent renewable energy free from the sun and or use a percentage of my home battery storage to charge my Ev when there is a cloudy day.
Hi...trying to get my sunroof glass panels tinted here in Shepparton. One company tried, but failed. Are other people wanting to cut down the heat coming through the sunroof and the very thin blind? What options might be available, other than the crappy aluminium pillows online in China?
I believe there are only 4 hydrogen stations in Australia at the moment Port Kembla, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane, a few months ago in California a bus was refilling with hydrogen at hydrogen station and caught fire causing a large explosion, hydrogen is very volatile
Showing your (our) age calling them telegraph poles. Like everything EV, on street charging has created controversy, but they are part of the solution.
My intuition (too lazy to find out the correct numbers) is that more energy is needed to produce hydrogen than the equivalent to run an EV for a given distance, so generating capacity cannot be the reason they invest in Hydrogen. While happy with my EV, this is what there is now. As soon as Hydrogen becomes viable and cost competitive, I am jumping ship. My reason: refilling takes 5-10 minutes for a range equivalent to an ICE, and EV chargers simply can't compete with that. I may not live long enough to see it, though... sigh...

Ampol are (also?) rolling out EV charging in their fuel stations, also called Foodaries. They will sell more cans of coke, etc, to EV owners.

It will be interesting
