I remember Starbucks not giving my mother her debit card back after ordering. The employee literally called my mom “dramatic” when she essentially tried to steal my mom’s debit card.
I worked Wendy's for 4 years. We were always understaffed. Oftentimes, I would be left on the counter without any help. Every time the door buzzed, I felt my blood pressure spike. It was an awful place to work.
I know what you mean. Worked at wendys during my high school year part time for two years. Understaffed, orders constantly incorrect, rude employees and my managers and I'm saying this in the nicest way possible was a bitch 😑
I was just about to give my stories from working Wendy's and I only worked a couple of months however my ex worked there for a while. I don't even remember my training and never realized that until he said they need more money for training staff. And here atleast discrimination of all sorts was rampant AND it seemed like most staff where teenagers. I haven't ate there since I left my ex
Yeah I gotta take the orders than run back and make the food what do people expect, and it doesn't help that most customers come in with a terrible entitled attitude to begin with lol.
Fast food places really come and go. For a while McDonalds in my area was very poorly maintained. But as of 2 or 3 years ago the whole building was redone, the food taste better and everything is clean now. However at the same time, a TacoBell next to where I work has seemingly gone downhill. Me and my father will sometimes go there and we've noticed it's gotten very bad lately. What was once the friendliest place to eat has turned very bad with people struggling to take orders, food being poorly made or even cold right out the gate, and almost never getting food there right. It's gotten so bad that now I only order tacos, and only to go so I can microwave them at home as a snack. Just last time I was there I waited about 35 minutes for a party pack of tacos to snack on over a couple days with the family as we do enjoy them. There was almost no one in the store, maybe 6 people, and 3 of them were up there saying they didn't get their full order or food they got was wrong. This wasn't a lunch rush or anything at all, just a casual afternoon between lunch and dinner. That said I still really like their breakfast foods, but I've learned to make my own as of late just because the quality is better, and often a lot cheaper too for some reason. I think I've just always guessed that if a place does really well like the old Tacobell it gets flooded by people, and when that happens workers are put under a lot of stress. And then over time that can wear on people and it can really go to crap. just my theory cause I seen that happen twice now in my area, with this TacoBell, and with a Burger King nearby. I'm very glad I rarely eat fast food
my wife worked at a mcdonald's for a VERY little while a few years ago and it was literally the worst job experience of her life. apparently her manager was an awful jerk who literally yelled at employees in front of customers...i'm glad my wife got outta there pretty quick. she's got a fairly high paying office job now and i'm so incredibly proud of her 💕 tbh the wendy's over where we live is actually quite nice! they've messed up a couple times but it's always a fast and pleasant experience, the employees are really nice
McDonald's has done way more for poor people than anything else in the whole world. Just a couple of wrong experiences don't represent the whole picture.
Yea, Wendy's is still one of my top fast food joints around here. Good to know they're basically burger King everywhere else. In San Antonio, it seems, burger king is the one with the worst service and rudest staff.
I actually had a great experience on my local Wendy's near my college. My grandmother and I always go through whenever I have time to spare. Staff was a little under but they got the job done and my food is always correct heck they got ice and napkins. And the staff's behavior is sometimes neutral but a little uplifting when my grandmother cheers them up with a joke or two. 😁👍
I don't go to Wendy's very often, but I definitely do a couple times a year or so, and I've only ever visited one location, the one nearest to me. I've never experienced a wrong order, cold food, dirty eating areas, or rude staff. The only problem with it are the bizarre customers you get in there. Every time I go it seems one of the costumers threatens one of the cashiers for no reason. It's bizarre and I feel awful for the staff working there.
It seems like you either got lucky with the joint, it being a tiny gold nugget amidst a pile a crap, or this may just be one a those cases of mass-hating for the trends... which I still kinda doubt. I honestly wouldn't know, there are no Wendy's in my country.
I've had some wrong orders for Wendys in the past but not often enough to be concerned. No, what concerns me is how understaffed every location of both Wendys and Mcdonalds are. I only usually see under 6 people working at most locations. The smallest Wendys near me had 3 people but, to be fair, the working space itself was small there so... I've never gotten rude employees, just ones who have to deal with a lot of orders and look kinda depressed.
We must've gotten lucky with our local Wendy's. It's clean, they usually get the order right, and the majority of the people working there are fairly pleasant. Our only real issue with the places that our town is located pretty much in the middle of nowhere. there have been quite a few times when our local Wendy's ran out of things you wouldn't think they would. Seriously, stuff like straws. Now if you want to talk about a problematic chain in my area Pizza Hut has given me food poisoning twice.(second Time around was a birthday party at work and I had no idea the pizza was from Pizza Hut due to the fact that managers already threw out the boxes.) Also, our franchise Burger King was shut down by the health department and turned into a Verizon. So if that tells you anything...
I actually did work at Wendy's for like six weeks at max, and I think that the reason for the problems listed for Wendy's is because of how they treat their staff. Literally the only way I would know what my schedule was was to text my boss. I know because I went in the office on one of my many days off that I had to figure out why I had so many days off and it was because I wasn't listed anywhere. It was almost as if they forgotten about me completely. I didn't get a single break on the rare occasions that I did work, it constantly felt like I was being rushed, and training is just a massive joke. I barely knew how to do anything my first day being out of training.
I work late nights at Wendys, which is usually understaffed after ten and I have been lucky to EVER get a meal break because I was the only person operating the drive thru window register. At times, I would have to take orders, take payments, make drinks, and bag and coordinate at the same time. How I haven't felt like screaming and cursing out those coming to our restaruant at eleven, midnight, one in the morning, just to order a fucking cheeseburger is beyond me.
I can't say I've had many bad experiences at fast food places. Years ago, when Burger King was pushing their "Have it your way" campaign, I decided to try getting a custom "burger". I ordered a cheeseburger with just bread and cheese, nothing else. It seemed pretty simple to me, but I guess when the folk in the kitchen are used to making the same burgers over and over again, muscle memory takes over. The cashier was really nice about it. After they got it massively wrong 3 times in a row, she made it for me personally...and still got it wrong. I didn't have the heart to tell her she'd messed it up too, so I just called it good enough and thanked her. I'm not a fan of Starbuck's coffee, at least not the way they prepare it. I'm not a fan of candy coffee (that's what I call it when they have all that syrup mixed in) and prefer my coffee plain. When I'd order plain coffee, it tasted brackish and burnt. So, when I'm with someone who wants to go to Starbucks, I just order tea. One thing Starbucks did that was very nice was they sent lots of their coffee to deployed locations during the 2nd Gulf War. It was better than the stuff available in the dining facilities and when brewed properly, it tastes pretty good.
I'm not sure why so many people love coffee with absurd amounts of overly sweet toppings. I don't care if you do, it's fine and not hurting me. The best in my opinion is iced with milk and creamer.
I just wanna say a short opinion from burger king, it was.. good it was alright, it didn’t take too long when i order it online, and they did get my order right, idk im very nervous to say that.
I agree with your point about Starbucks coffee. I like mine light on cream, and their coffee is much more bitter than anything like Folgers let alone actual beans. You practically have to drink it with all of the cream and syrup they put in there of you want it to taste bearable. I didn't know about Starbucks helping soldiers during a war though. That gives me at least a miniscule amount of respect for them despite charging $10 for half a cup of bitter coffee and the other half cup of cream, sugar, and syrup.
I wouldn't drink tea from there as I respect tea leaves too much for what they do to them. Coffee temps and tea are not the same, don't tell them that.
Uh, Burger King still runs the "Have it your way" campaign. Having worked at Burger King as a Teenager, a sizable number of Burgers were custom-made, and still are. Your experience seems to fly in the face of a campaign that has worked for decades. ( I always order my Whopper with no tomato, and I would say about 10% have gotten it wrong. So 90%)
Honestly didn't know Wendy's was so hated. They're my favorite fast food restaurant next to Five Guys because of the food, particularly the fries. While I've never had an experience with rude fast food workers, I could understand the chain being hated for poor customer service and wrong orders.
@@josephpayne9011 bro I used to live near one and the fries were ALWAYS cold, soggy and unsalted and the soda machine was broken and the soda tasted like sour water. Plus not to mention the chicken sandwiches were always CAKED with mayo seriously there was more mayo than chicken: it was so disgusting
I was one of those Domino's workers for 2 years. It was absolute hell on Earth, customers would regularly abuse us when calling on the phone and the management was just as hostile.
@PhantomStrider It's cool to see someone on UA-cam who has worked at the same fast food chain that I have. It's nice to see that you can relate to the struggle haha. Love your videos!
I can't count the many times my family has order taco bell for delivery, and every single time, they either forget something or they cancel our order McDonald's, on the other hand, the workers are always rushing, which I don't blame, but they're always giving attitude as well All the other fast food chains on this list, we've rarely ever had a moment where we weren't satisfied
I've never had attitude from any fast food worker ANYWHERE. Just be nice and patient and they'll be glad to help you. I know bc I'm glad to help customers who are polite and patient with me. They make my day a little better.
@Nakia11798 it's usually me and my sisters who go out to get food and we're always patient with them, we just hope that their day is a little better with a patient customer
I recently walked into a familiar Wendys that still has the 2000s' decor and not the new kind others do, and when I went to order there were only two people staffed. One at the counter and one doing cleaning, and I swear the cleaning one was the one who took my order. But in spite of all that, the burger and fries I asked for were absolutely fine, tasty and worth the money. I'll always go back no matter what others say.
Ngl, these ratings for customer service remind me of a very positive experience I’ve had with a Whataburger employee. My sister and I were waiting for a bit when this guy came by with our food, all smiles and had an upbeat attitude when giving our food. He even gave us compliments and waited if we had any complaints or if he missed anything. Another time we saw him again, I was with my mom and he was the same upbeat positive attitude. It’s kinda nice to see someone in a fast food job, especially when you know that it’s not too easy.
A young man at a Starbucks in my state was trying to explain to a customer he'd fix their messed up order, but instead of being understanding, the customer THREW THE COFFEE IN HIS FACE! Poor kid.
Some people are just not worth anyone’s time. Having worked in KFC before, I’ve seen some of the customers that come in. Certainly isn’t an amazing job.
Thank you so much Strider for pointing out how sadly many places are understaffed. I don't work in fast food but I do work in customer service & on days when I'm have a ton of people to help all at once it can be stressful but what makes it worth it is those who come in & understand how hard people in customer service work. It's so nice when someone comes in understandably upset but they understand that yelling at us isn't going to solve the issue no matter how it was caused even though I would much prefer them leave satisfied the first time they come in, I would rather not have someone come in & be rude towards me or a co-worker because of a mistake or be rude because we looked just a little tired from being overworked
I was with a group of about 25 people who went to eat Pizza hut as a celebration and it gave everyone food poisoning. Worst part about that is no one ate the exact same pizza so no one could narrow it down to one pizza that gave it to us, so the entire order was bad enough to give us food poisoning. I have never eaten Pizza Hut since.
I actually personally work at a McDonald's and enjoy it. I can totally see why people hate working there though, not including horrible management, lack of communication, and the Karens and Kevins. I also genuinely enjoy the food. Again, I can see why people don't enjoy the food. I love your videos, and I just wanted to give you some engagement while sharing a workers side of the story for McDonald's!^^
Hey Strider, love the content. I've worked with a lot of fast food places in my life, Burger King, McDonald's, KFC and Popeyes and I emphasize with your pain of feeling second fiddle to drive thru customers. For a few places we have a big honking TV that shows us the times for drive through and the worst part of being a drive thru worker, if your times aren't up to snuff it's meeting after meeting. They don't care for in store guests, we've been told to just not worry about them until drive is empty.
I up and quit fast good 3 years ago after starting weight loss, but I do remember back when I was in 4th grade me and the family stopped at McDonalds for lunch, and later on that day my dad started feeling very weird and sick. We took him to the doctor and apparently, he had food poisoning. And we've never been back there since.
Will NEVER forget how in the early 2000s, my dad was quoted as saying that every time he ate McDonald’s it felt like… “A brick in his stomach.” Need anyone say any more?
As an extaco bell worker, the horrors in there made it go from my favorite fast food place near my place, to something that i havent touched once since i left
Wow. That’s exactly how I feel after spending 7 years as an employee there. Left nine months ago, and have not touched the food from it since. It ain’t worth it, and after learning so much about it, I feel safe to say I don’t want to give them any more of my money. If someone else wants to, by all means (though I may give them crap for my own amusement). But if I’m buying any Mexican-type food (cause’ you know, TB is not the real deal, it’s pseudo-Mexican/Americanized Mexican food), I’ll go ANYWHERE except TB, and I have not once regretted that decision.
did you also have a sucky manager or was it just the customers. i personally had friends that worked at my store and another one near by she said both of the experiences are hell. taco bell is known for there speed and the one i work at is in the top ten fastest in america so we’re constantly rushed and overworked
@@miriamlivesinabrick7280 The problem is they think speed is what their customers prioritize. That’s why the food is so low quality, it has to be in order to make the times. In my store’s case, there were two GMs that were obsessive about it, one of them would get angry about being a second off and raise his blood pressure any time there was a rush. No consideration about lack of staff, nothing. For him, it was make speed or bust. All for bonuses that non-managers got no penny of. Yet, the customers in the area were WORSE. I learned real fast to NEVER underestimate how stupid humans can be. Rude and dumb, would get butthurt over a discontinued item or try to sneakily order it via ridiculously modified items. Or would ask questions where the answer was RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. So unreasonable management, low quality food that I make at home for less money (made by a company that advertises it like it’s some high-class shit when it isn’t), and awful people to deal with… is it any surprise I walked away? I blame NO ONE that does.
@@darthmeticulous6901 I used to eat Taco Bell but I’ve moved over to a local place that sells way tastier burritos and other Mexican based food. Taco Bell did NOT like my stomach most of the time.
I used to work at a tea shop called Teabear Teahouse The tea was good, but when working there, I was constantly stressed out and left because we were constantly understaffed and I was frantically going from one task to another on a whim. Barely cleaned equipment, toppings left out overnight, and there was this one ceiling tile that was at risk of falling onto the one barista station we had. I haven’t been there for tea or coffee since. Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to get it out of my system. Where I work now pays better anyway
wish us as humanity could break out of this low-frequency matesrlistic need to work for fucking money rest of your life to HOPEFULLY have a good re_TIRE_ment :/ even worse once realize WHAT money is and WHO prints if from what (thin air) and they got 90 QUADRILLION in their bank acc yet im scum if i decided to counterfiet a lousy dollar!
One thing that stood out to me the most was the one comment mentioning how the drive thru is prioritized over the lobby customers. I have worked for Mcdonalds for almost 9 years now and unfortunately that is true. Reason being we are constantly timed (which fast food place isnt) especially thru peak hours and are expected to keep the drive thru moving no matter what and when you are understaffed or don't have enough people trained to do what you need to do even with a floor plan and can't find others to come in it makes it more stressful.
Yep. Too bad people are ignorant or apathetic about it. After working for Taco Bell for 7 years, I ALMOST NEVER use a Drive-Thru, unless it’s the only option or I know in advance what to order (and have backups ready in case they ran out of something). I absolutely DO NOT want to be the one who backs up an entire line, and I feel real bad when I see a store severely understaffed (half the time I’ll just try somewhere else so I don’t worsen the situation). In my view, whoever’s idea it was to make speed such a big priority for fast food chains is pure evil. I guarantee that most people wouldn’t care if it takes a few extra minutes to get food-but that business model of “speed with service” has normalized impatience and by extension, rudeness. Ever wonder why so many people complain about Taco Bell’s food quality? Well, how else are they going to make 3.5 minute OTD (Order to Delivery) averages in every single daypart? Of course the food is going to be cheap, it’s only way it can made THAT FAST. Taco Bell’s heads apperently think that is their customers #1 concern. Not good service, not quality food, just exactly HOW FAST their food gets to them. At least Taco Bell makes the speed an incentive for bonuses (that only managers receive, because of course), other fast food restaurants punish employees for not making speed by NOT GIVING THEM RAISES. So in that situation, where one person taking forever to order can screw up an entire daypart, is it any surprise that some places have employees that don’t exactly look pleased? Nope. So yeah, screw whoever first thought speed standards in fast food was a good idea. “We should worry about exactly how long it takes to make food, it’ll let us cut corners and we think our customers would prioritize that because we the greedy overlords think that already! Bwahahaha!” ~Probably some CEOs about 30+ years ago.
@@darthmeticulous6901 yep all that is exactly true nowadays though managers at McDonald's can get bonuses for other things too like voice surveys, curbside orders low times and a couple of other things but at one point they were expecting us to to keep times below 200-250 in peak hours on in think dinner and lunch but now they want it to be 150 or below which is impossible. I have been a manager for about a year now and lemme tell ya if I dont have the aces I need or too many call outs and very few replacements there is only so much I can do. I love getting paid extra for the bonuses. But most of the time if I can't pull it off I'm not gonna let it get me down I do what incan with what I have available.
I’ve worked at Wendy’s for two years and it’s an experience for sure. I feel bad for the people who have to wait several minutes for food and sometimes, shit goes wrong. Multiple appliances broke when I worked and management didn’t want to fix it because it costed money. Which is dumb because everything does. Last summer was atrocious because of the heat and people wanting strawberry salads so much, we sold over 60 grilled chickens just during lunch hours.
I’ve spent time in fast food kitchens and as an employee I can say a few things about the environments I worked in. Keep in mind most of these are franchised chains and will vary from location to location; I’m sure there are some McDonald’s and Pizza Hut owners who are great buuuutttt well McDonald’s- only worked here for a month or so, but I can say I only got two training days, and was then thrown to the wolves. Our district manager literally pulled me off the schedule just two weeks in to tell me how disappointing I was since she was paying me more than the other new hires. There was no communication between managers, one night I was on schedule to assist closing a shift that usually ends at 11 pm, I was sent early because the daytime manager told me to leave and left her closing crew short. A few managers mostly sat in the office and left everyone to try to work dinner rushed on their own. Once I learned the job things went okay enough, most of us were just trying to do our best but you aren’t given nearly enough training time, which is probably why so many McDonalds struggle with friendliness and accuracy. Fazollis- Worst job I’ve ever worked. Paychecks were not clearing. Left after two weeks. The pasta and salads are made fresh but do not order pizza or wings. The pizza and wings are pre-cooked and stuck in a heating unit where they can sit for hours. Can’t say much more as I left after two consecutive checks had issued clearing. Pizza Hut- nothing here is fresh made. Every dough, cheese, meat and veg comes prepackaged. They were also stupid strict about who could do what. Drivers were made to not only do deliveries, but fold boxes and wash dishes as well. The “cook” does nothing but assemble pizzas and sometimes cut them. I had been told off the record that part of the reason I wasn’t allowed to cut pizzas or take orders was because the store manager at our location didn’t want to put a trans person in front of people in order to avoid a potential argument. Managers were grossly incompetent; the store manager lacked any sort of leadership and feared confrontation so much that he’d never correct mistakes or stand up for his workers if customers or other workers got out of line. One night time manager would openly flirt with his underaged staff and shirk his duties but was never reprimanded the entire time I was there. If your driver is rude to you it’s probably because they’re doing way too much work in house since “cooks” aren’t allowed to touch dishes or boxes even if it’s slow and the driver is out on a delivery run. Hungry Howies- These are new in my area but have a lot of locations in other regions; dough is fresh, veggies are all fresh, only things brought in are sauce and meats which are understandable for a fast food place. Since my store had just opened I actually worked with some of the corporate trainers who were both super friendly and helpful. Instead of being asked to skimp on ingredients we’re actually encouraged to make sure our customers get their moneys worth. Employees are cross trained but the pace is dictated by how much someone can handle, as opposed to being taught everything at once, you’re allowed to ease into new responsibilities.
One I try to avoid is KFC. My brother used to work in one, and he told me horror stories about what the staff got up to when they could. Here's a hint... avoid the mashed potatoes.
South African here. Personally, I've never had an issue with McDonald's. Every time I went through the drive-through with my mom, we typically got our orders right as we got to the window. And every time we ordered some soft-serve, we always got it. I mean, sure, the orders looked nothing like advertised, and the McFlurries never had the Oreo bits mixed into the ice-cream, but it never bothered me personally. That said, I do typically only go to McDonald's nowadays for soft-serve, and some where else for burgers.
Not in Switzerland.... We have a McDonalds in town and I know of several people who ate there... They had food poisoning! That's one I guess, no clue on the others. Having said that, the one in Germany is OK. I don't go often though.
I am genuinely very shocked that all of those fast food chains were badly rated, while I do understand issues such as long waiting times and getting the orders incorrectly, I “never” had any bad experiences with some of the restaurants (apart from bad orders getting messed), secondly I despise sour cream as well in which I understand that as well. And thirdly, I think it’s entirely unfair to lash out or slander the employees just because your experience is awful yet some people don’t even realize food preparation takes time and being understaffed is honestly unfair to them as well. Sure I had issues with my burgers and the orders at some fast food chains but the amount of times for me personally were very minimalistic!!! 🤔😮💨
Warning, Long Comment: I've only had 3 fast food restaurants in my local area disappoint me, (one of them i stopped going to outside of breakfast), they were Taco Bell, Burger King, and Pizza Hut. Taco Bell was basically the whole "they don't get my order right" but the problem was that it would always be MY order, which always was soft tacos with NO lettuce. Apparently the concept of "don't add something" is hard to remember. Pizza Hut- this one hurts because we usually had good service from them but this one particular time they had an AWFUL door dash driver. So we order our food (Large Pepperoni with breadsticks and wings) and 20 minutes after the time when the food was supposed to be there, i get this thought in my head and go to check the front door. There's the food on our porch and when I open the Pizza and breadstick box, there's bugs all over them. Wings were fine because of the container Pizza Hut put them in. However my mother and I were not happy at all. She calls Pizza Hut and tells them what happened and the lady.on the phone says that their drivers don't usually knock if it's Door Dash and my mother told her that's dumb. So the lady says that she'll refund the money (which took over a year for some reason) and we got food somewhere else that night. We still eat Pizza Hut to this day because it's still better than Donatos and Domino's anyday. Burger King is the one I swore off of (in my local area) because one year I got food there 3 times and EACH TIME they got my order wrong and the 3 time was the last straw. The first two times I order a chicken sandwich with ketchup and pickles only. I get my sandwich and there's mayo, tomatoes, mustard on it. The third time they actually got the "ketchup and pickles only" thing right but they gave me a Whopper instead of a Chicken Sandwich like I ordered and the Chicken Sandwich was even on the receipt. So I've sworn off that particular Burger King.
The Whopper Sacrifice thing sounds like good fun since it's only facebook "friendships", I don't think unfriending someone makes you unable to DM them or deletes your DM history or really cuts you off from each other and most people probably accepted the friend requests that the unfriended people sent again or even sent friend requests to the people they unfriended. The message told them why they were unfriended and it was just the equivalent of sharing a link to 10 people to get a coupon except you have to send them a new friend request now. If anything it would make my friendship stronger with someone if we had a laugh about how they sacrificed me for a tenth of a burger, and not that I even have 10 friends but if I did I'd pick my close friends who are likely to understand and forgive and laugh with me about it.
Speaking as a former Generic Pizza Place Employee (I'm still afraid to say their name publically). The pizza tracker was never accurate. It was programmed to tell you when it SHOULD be done and not exactly when it was actually done. This confusion lead to a lot of unhappy customers. The only reason there were "unprofessional employees" is because very often you'd pick up the phone and immediately start getting screamed and cursed at by a stranger. A stranger who didn't care about you, your well being, or the fact that your just another human being just doing the best you can. The only thing that mattered was the pizza. Its hard to keep a cool head when faced with such visceral disrespect and lack of empathy. 3 out of 10 would not recommend.
I was genuinely surprised to see Wendy's here honestly I've never had any of these problems at my local Wendys the staff have always been friendly and I have never had to wait more than ten minutes but most of all the food is actually warm and tasty maybe I just got the big end of the stick😂
As someone who used to work for Starbucks I was very very very very very stressed out by the limited amount of people that were allowed to work in one shift and the amount of multitasking that was asked me to do. This is worse when I now know that I am autistic which I did not know at the time. I made mistakes but it was never due me not wanting to do a good job. The job was emotionally taxing.
Hot take: I don’t care if my food is fresh or not. I mean I’m not saying I’m gonna eat a burger that’s been sitting out in the open for like a week, but I’m fine with it not being recently made, like 2 or 3 minutes ago. The only thing that really irks me is when they get my order wrong, missing items, wrong items, unwanted toppings, the works.
As an Wendy's employee, I'll be honest most time new people who are working, can make it very tricky keep it quick specially if we are under staff. If there's one thing I hate is when our fryers are going though filters during a lunch rush. Specially if didn't have time or wasn't aware how soon.
I get the whopper sacrifice is suppose to be horrible, but I can't help but think of how funny it is that people just "bro, you're not my friend anymore" for some horsemeat and a bun in between lmao
I agree it was tacky and in bad taste on Burger King's part, but I think it was a valuable lesson in just how phony many Facebook friendships are. LMAO 🤣
I've never worked in fast food, but my best friend worked at McDonald's and Steak N Shake while we were in high school, and according to him, the drive-thru is ALWAYS the priority over the dining room customers.
I've worked at both McDonald's and Burger King, and I can tell you from first-hand experience that the complaints from customers were pretty accurate. We definitely got complains about staff and the speed/accuracy of orders directed at the specific locations I worked at.
A great restaurant where I’m from is Culvurs. It’s an American midwestern chain that started in Wisconsin. Even before I started working there, it was always a favorite. The stores tend to be cleaner than a lot of other places. Seasonal menu items stick around for at least a month (my fav is the frozen cocoa custard). The veggie burger is the best I’ve had from any other fast food chain, which is awesome for me as a vegetarian. Btw, the custard is really good, whether you get a dish or mixer.
I can't believe some fast-food places are still up.There is a place called Denny's near me and instead of a tile floor it's a carpet that looks like it was never cleaned
And I've always gotten good service, even if the marketing is off. And Arby's has been good at what they do. They've had some flops, but they're core meme has been consistent. I don't eat there often, but I usually get what I expect.
Arby's is literally the grossest place in the fast food game. Their signature sandwich looks like desert dry private parts smashed in-between some bread. Also I found a fly in my buffalo slider. Thank God I checked it out before eating it.
I went to a McDonald's which was VERY busy, like, it took half an hour for anyone to go up and take my order, which I could tell by both the amount of people there, and how rushed everyone was. In the midst of all the whispered complaints, I legit heard an employee yell out "MCDONALD'S SUUUUUCKS" and I replied back saying "yes it doooooeeees..." And everyone laughed with me.
Honestly, Wendy’s in my hometown was surprisingly pleasant after the building got renovated. During COVID, they shut down their serving room and focused solely on the drive through. But then our Pizza Hut was absolutely dreadful, my family would regularly go to Dominos because it was the only place in town with edible pizza after the closing of a local place.
So when I was leaving from Luis Munoz Marin airport at San Juan last monday, we decided to eat at a dominoes pizza that was there while we waited for the plane to Florida to arrive. The personal pizzas me and my dad got had burnt crust, it was black as heck, and the wings my dad’s gf got were dry as hell. It also didn’t help that they now refuse to deliver out to where we live despite them delivering to us numerous times. Overall, it was a good reason for us to go to Pizza Hutt for all our pizza delivery needs.
I went to Dominos to pick up a pizza and they said to me that their credit card machine isn’t working and they were only accepting cash. I told them that I don’t have cash on me and they said to me “well then we can’t give you your pizza”
Domino's is so trash I would have to literally be on the verge of starving before I have another slice of what essentially is the bread-flavoured cardboard it came out of with a pathetic nanometer of cheese and sauce.
I only went to Dominoes... thrice, in the last 5 years. It was always on my own, to test out the joints in the city I study at. Never really had any issues... but boy, were the places vacant. Kinda empty, really... not sure if the place is that unpopular over here, if I just arrive off-set with the rush hours, or if the Pizza Hut near our college just steals the clients away. Either way, I still had no reasons to complain. The pizza's pretty alright, they actually have sauce, I can actually taste it, cheese is very evident too, they ain't stingy with the 'ronies... Pizza Hut is a classic, but I feel like even their pizzas are sometimes just... filled with liquid fat, instead of tomato sauce. It literally drips from the slices. The slices are even shiny due to the grease sometimes. I dunno if that's a thing for the individual sizes only tho.
I worked at Starbucks for a grand total of 3 days. I told them the first day that I have ADD and would need extra time to learn the menu. 3rd day, where do they assign me? The DRIVE THROUGH, where I had to deal with 2 menus AND people talking to me in my headset AND in the store, ALL AT ONCE. I nearly had a nervous breakdown and singlehandedly caused a 20-car backup. I quit at the end of my shift.
that whopper sacrifice thing is an actual garbage ad idea, there is actually NO reason to lose friends for a burger, AND have the app send a message to your friends thats just like "your friend considered you worth a burger" like that makes them probably think your a total jerk like dude! what if someone lost lots of their friends and constantly got sent "your friend thought you were worth 1/10 of a burger"
Recently, my dad went to McDonald’s near our area at around 4-5 in the morning and said that he ordered a tea and noticed that the workers who served him his tea were giggling and laughing and when he looked in his drink, he found some type of oil at the bottom of it. Oil is extremely bad for your stomach and those workers thought it would be funny to give my dad stomach pain. Unfortunately, he threw the evidence away so we couldn’t sue….
Always appreciate these dives into the world of fast food! Not gonna lie, it's honestly rather useful. For the food in these joints, I might as well flip 'em patties on my own pan. Kinda sad to see Domino's hasn't been avoiding the Noid lately... Oh, but these times, when eating pizza outside was a cozy experience... I remember that from when I was a kid, with Pizza Hut. It wasn't the 90's, but in my country, things are always late when compared to the places overseas. I remember ordering always the individual Pepperoni Lovers when we ate outside the restaurant, but inside? Oh, it was warm, cozy... it had a darker color palette, the wood on the furniture, the ceiling... I "want" to say the floor even was that checkerboard pattern, but that I can't guarantee. Now, that vibe is just... gone. It's all bright, but in a... stale way. Corporate, without character, sterile... safe. It's not in bad taste, but it's tasteless, which is arguably worse.
I worked at McDonald's last year and it was awful. We were understaffed in the kitchen and that combined with the constant beeping of everything always overstimulated me and sent me into a panic attack every shift. I was so stressed that I was su*cidal
I’ve been going to Wendy’s for years and I have never ever seen anything quite like the kind of experience you mentioned. Whenever I go to Wendy’s, I’ve actually been lucky to almost never have to worry somehow about my order getting messed up. Especially if you’re like me and you probably just got chicken nuggets, fries, and a Coke.
22:02 Actually a lot of McDonald's locations are throwing out their playgrounds and actively sapping out their own identity so the franchise owner can easily sell it if it fails, giving it basically the personality of a mall kiosk self checkout. So yeah, I used to love McDonald's and even I have to wonder what's wrong with them to be *that* bad.
I absolutely hate Dominos, especially after they took over my area and ousted all the other, more decent chains. I am thankful for the local Italian Place that makes the best and fastest pizza. Other than that, I really enjoy chains for the comfort - you can almost reliably get a similar service experience, and some have local variants in different countries. I also like trying popular fast food chains in other countries.
When it comes to pizza, I have always found that if you can locate a small "mom and pop" type pizzeria, the product will almost always be better than the chain pizza places.
I have fond memories associated with Wendy’s. Me and my siblings used to get bacon cheeseburgers from there when we were kids and would visit our grandmother. Then, for a while we would go to the one near our school every week with several other families. We called this “Frosty Friday,” and as far as I can remember, we always got decent service, and the place was clean and everything. We’re all making headway towards adulting now, but we all currently live at home, and have since moved closer to the area where we went to school, and that same Wendy’s is now the closest one to our house. It’s a night and day difference. It’s a miracle if the place is even open now.
When I couldn't get hired by a Starbucks that was in such desperate need of hires that they often closed at 1 PM, and then I noticed both the incredibly concerning job interview questions and my friends complaining about the prices and drink quality randomly changing every week...yeah I think I'll put my eggs in the Dunkin basket.
When the Baconator came out, friends and I went to try it.. and my friends didn't have bacon on it. When we went to ask the manager just yelled out "Who forgot to put bacon on the Baconator!?" and someone said, "ah I knew I forgot something"
I'm kinda glad my local Dominos is still good. The only time i've had to deal with long wait times was during the evening hours, especially on weekends. I try to stay smart and order around noon when it isn't that busy. That said, I usually only see one staff member during that time and it's sad seeing one guy/gal having to handle all the early shift orders.
I was honestly surprised to see Wendy's on this list and even more surprised to see a scathing review from my home State. The Wendy's near where I live doesn't really have these problems.
It’s the same for me with McDonald’s. I can understand WHY a lot of McDonald’s restaurants are reviewed negatively but the one near me is surprisingly decent. Friendly staff, half decent food and relatively clean. At least for fast food standards.
Yeah, Wendy's is one of my go to fast food resteraunts when I want something quick due to the 4 for 4, some nuggets, or $5 biggie bag. Helped me many nights when I wanted something quick and cheap, especially when I was going to another college and the staff were friendly.
Are these problems in America only? Because over here in Finland, I personally have never encountered any problems with Burger King, Taco Bell and McDonald's. We do have Starbucks here as well, but I don't drink coffee, so I can't judge Starbucks. And Wendy's and Domino's doesn't exist in Finland. Although some of my family members have said that their Taco Bell food they ordered from one specific location isn't really good, but that's really the only complaint I have heard from these fast food chains from my family. And also that my dad refuses to go to McDonald's again for his own personal reasons. All in all, in Finland the only fast food chain in this video I have heard no one complain about is Burger King.
Yeah I think treatment with fast foods varies on place like for me I live in Torquay from the UK and I've gotten no problems with KFC nor McDonald's which I rarely go to unless I got special coupons.
I’m not even in my 30s yet, and I’m still old enough to remember you could pick fast food based off how differently priced they all were. Now they all cost $12-$15, which is what it usually costs to eat at local restaurants that are a step above fast food, but the food is miles ahead as far as quality goes 💀
I've eaten at McDonald's for so many years that I now realize that I am used to eating decent yet underwhelming burgers. I've eaten at Taco Bell for years as well, but I still think their food is decent. On the subject of customer service, I have been a fast food worker for a year and a half. I can see where the low reviews come from, being a fast food worker is stressful.
The one time I went to a pizza hut restaurant, it was for some guys birthday and me and my sister had to wait AN ENTIRE HOUR just to get overcooked pizzas whilst everybody else got theirs in 20 minutes and all correct. Fortunately, we had something else in compromise. I think. it's been so long so it's hard to remember.
My experience with Starbucks has gotten better after the union fight got a wage increase. They stopped getting my order wrong, and seemed happier, resulting in better service.
Any fast food restaurant will prioritize the drive thru because they are timed. You're "not on the clock" when you walk in. It's all about the metrics. Waited 30 minutes for a chicken sandwich at Wendy's. Walked into a McDonald's and was seen by three employees. No service at all, I walked out. The Burger King by my house is horrible. No coca cola products in the machine, constantly messing up my order, needless to say, I don't go there anymore. I could go on forever, but I won't...
I worked in KFC a few years ago and honestly, we were basically always under staffed. The management was complete crap as well. After seeing how they treat their food in the kitchen, I haven’t eaten at KFC since.
I waited 40 minutes at a Wendy's for my order before someone finally asked me what I needed. Then she proceeded to berate the poor cashier, who was not responsible for the mistake. I felt so bad for the poor kid. Never went back there
I worked for Domino's for almost 4 years and the real reason why it takes so long for food to come is because there's usually only 2-3 people working in the store at any given time. And it's usually a high school or college student that's already stressed as hell and on the verge of quitting.
I think invader zim is pretty accurate in describing how fast food in the future will be: HOMELESS MAN: I WANT MY SLAW! MANAGER: YOU HAVE YOUR SLAW, SIR! HOMELESS MAN: I… WANT… MY… SLAW!!!
I wouldn't usually leave a cheesy comment like this... but thank you for the upload Strider. I've been really, really upset this week over the disappearance of my pet snake and having one of your cozy uploads to enjoy helps improve my mood a little bit more. It's hard to stay positive so something like this is a nice break for my emotions. Keep doing what you do man, thank you again for the always enjoyable uploads.
Burger King has had a lot of monstrously bad ad campaigns, but I think the “Women belong in the kitchen” tweet for International Women’s Day in 2021 was what did them in
They REALLY didn't think that one through... I think they thought it was supposed to be flattering or empowering? But uh...ya know...kinda radiated old Folgers ad campaigns...you know the ones. YIKES! O.o
@@bluestreaker9242 it was....if you read their comment. Which was "or whereever they want to be" (something like that) But yea with it in the comments it makes the twet outta context n look bad
I went to Wendy's a couple of months ago thru the drive thru, ordered a baconator meal, got my food and noticed it was a single patty. When I asked why I didn't get the double patty, I was told "you should've ordered a double" no appoligy or any effort to make it right!! My weirdest drive thru experience was at Hardee's years ago before Carl's Jr bought them. I pulled up the order board and sat there for a full 2 minutes, about 30 seconds later I was about to say "hello" when a voice came over the speaker and said "are you gonna order or what?" I pulled up and asked to talk to the manager, I could see her at the far end of the counter. The employee walked over and they both looked over at me. Then the manager just walked out towards the back and ignored me!
From my experience in Brazil, Burguer King has the worst staff of all, they're rude, they deny your order 20 minutes before their closing time and last time we went there, we payed for 5 sandwiches and they gave us 3. Domino's problem here is the taste, a very dry pizza with no flavour.
Given we've given up fast food for a year or two having not eaten it often it tastes very bad now that we've noticed. Now i have friends and family that work at places like McDonald's I always say hi to when getting the buck teas. (Only thing I do buy regularly at McDonald's it's a dollar)
I love your videos Strider but as a restaurant manager myself the reviews and complaints part of the video made it too hard to get through 😂 excited for the next one!
Sorry! 😄 I totally understand. I certainly don't blame the manager either. I'm sure not every restaurant is like that and you can only work with the weekly budget you're given 🙂 Respects by the way! Managing a busy fast food restaurant must take alot of tenacity and hard work. Best wishes!
@PhantomStrider I appreciate that a lot! I actually have insight on many of the topics you brought up from experience and I would love to answer any questions you might have! Love your videos, I've been watching since 2017
Whopper Sacrifice?! Where was I during this point in time?? That’s so funny! If I knew it existed I would’ve removed 10 of my closest family members. That had been comical
Most fast food fell off this past nearly a decade and a half, especially when the pandemic hit when you look at the charts. It hurt that Wendy's has fallen so far after Dave Thomas passed away and Taco Bell has a lot of sentimental connections for me but now I have a love /hate relationship.
The Wendy’s near me play the game is it gonna open. They were the he last place to open the lobby. Not because of they couldn’t they didn’t have enough staff
I haven't watched the video yet, but my local Burger King restaurant always gets orders wrong and I even got a green burger patty there once. I won't be surprised if they make the list (watched the video, guess the problem isn't exclusive to my local Burger King).
That last lady was definitely a Karen lol. As for the communication error, it could be because she doesn't speak English well?.... so not the restraunt or workers fault. I work at a fast food restraunt and we have people we don't understand and we do actually try to communicate with them but sometimes they end up just getting mad and leaving because we can't understand them. 🤷🏻♀️
I worked carts at a grocery store that near a Starbucks and was often working in the morning. Alone. You can imagine how many people drove quickly through the parking lot to get to the Starbucks drive-through.
Excuse you? I can assure you that a lot of people who spent time in prison, actually do want to change and live a good life. Definitely seeing how easily you can end up in prison in the US. I of course don't know the numbers in the US, but here in Belgium we're actually working hard on re-integration so delinquents don't commit crime anymore after getting out of prison.
I worked with a group of inmates afrer a tornado hit a local town that were permitted to work alongside volunteers. They weren't rude to us or people affected by the storms at all.
@@FederalBurroOfInvestigation the person who commented this clearly has never met or worked with delinquents, so their "opinion" is probably based on all the media-fed propaganda 🤷🏻♀️
Of course not every prisoner is rude, i know there are people who want to change for the better. But I can guarantee there are some prisoners who remain rude and those are the ones I’m talking about
I once went to Starbucks after getting my braces tightened one day, on my birthday too, and the customer in front of us ended up paying our order forward. What a legend.
My parents worked at Burger King and they hated it, there are two things I can think of about it So there was an employee who was kinda mentally challenged, but apparently that means he's allowed to just freely chop tomatoes without checking if they're rotten Another time an employee gave a costumer a COMPLETELY RAW burger Those are the 2 stories I remember
Damn it sounds like you're burger king is ass. My burger king is pretty solid, and the staff is always pretty chill. We have 2 McDonald's, and one is meth head central though. I witnessed a series of events there reminiscent of a GTA 5 cutscene. There was an evidently tweaker couple eating near my friends and me when they suddenly started kicking each other under the table like two kindergartners playing footsies under the lunch table to determine who gets their other friends gogurt. Then the female crystal connoisseur got up and slapped the male. The male tweaking tyrant proceeded to get up and screamed something at the woman. He then stormed out the door to his car, presumably to grab his crystal meth butt plug to destress from the situation. The feminine amphetamine enthusiast followed shortly after and threw the dude out of what I assume is his car, threw a pillow down at him, and pulled off leaving him to walk after her. It was the wildest thing I've ever seen, and I go to that McDonald's to this day just in hopes of seeing some wild shit like that again, and while I've never seen anything quite like that there's always something similar going on at that McDonald's. If clucken bell was a real place it would undoubtedly be that McDonald's
I'm honestly surprised at Wendy's being so low. I've never had a bad experince at on personally. It really does depend on the quality of each local store and the franchisees that own them.
My mother would put Mr. G on this list, she went there once and had the WORST cup of tea and cheese sandwich in the world, the bread tasted stale, the margarine was greasy, the cheese tasted like rubber, the cup was dirty, the milk was sour and it cost £5, not surprisingly it has closed down now. If it was me I would have demanded my money back.
I remember Starbucks not giving my mother her debit card back after ordering. The employee literally called my mom “dramatic” when she essentially tried to steal my mom’s debit card.
They did this to me too, except with a gift card!!
At the bougie Starbucks I worked at, wasn't NOBODY on our side of the counter risking that particular biscuit, lmao.
Wow....that's extremely sad
@@ViktorErikFade It’s more annoying than anything else
Thats just unexceptional
This is exactly why at fast food places and restaurants I always try to be nice to workers cause people are so rude nowadays
That sucks to here. Have to admit, I never had a bad Wendy's experience in Puerto Rico or Florida
I'm very glad I rarely eat fast food
my wife worked at a mcdonald's for a VERY little while a few years ago and it was literally the worst job experience of her life. apparently her manager was an awful jerk who literally yelled at employees in front of customers...i'm glad my wife got outta there pretty quick. she's got a fairly high paying office job now and i'm so incredibly proud of her 💕
tbh the wendy's over where we live is actually quite nice! they've messed up a couple times but it's always a fast and pleasant experience, the employees are really nice
I agree dude I don't have a kill myself than work at McDonald's
The McDonalds around here are quite consistent, I avoid them as much as possible.
I went to wendys 2 times
2013: got food poisioning
2016: food took n HOUR to get.
These were 2 locations.
Havent been back since.
It seems like you either got lucky with the joint, it being a tiny gold nugget amidst a pile a crap, or this may just be one a those cases of mass-hating for the trends... which I still kinda doubt. I honestly wouldn't know, there are no Wendy's in my country.
The wendys that is close to me is actually decent but its not my favorite fast food, there are also rude costumers there too
For me its one specific Wendy's that I had problem with. They really really wanted to ad mayo rather than mustard. Every other Wendy's was great.
Hmm do I know you from somewhere? No can't be from discord lol
They need higher wages and more job security then
Like the past 7 times I've gone to a Wendy's they only got my order right once. I don't know how you mess up a burger with just ketchup.
@@kanye_north11 because it's an assembly line with many premade elements and you are asking for a special order that throws that all outta whack
Yeah we're understaffed and overwhelmed. And yes also depressed lol
@@VidLover777 I feel the same way but then I’ve done the same thing.
Lol I hate Wendy’s
Wendy's was good back in the yellow box days. It hasn't been the same since.
you're lucky to have a consistently good Wendy's near you. the one down my street will never see another dime from me.
@@josephpayne9011 bro I used to live near one and the fries were ALWAYS cold, soggy and unsalted and the soda machine was broken and the soda tasted like sour water. @@smallrockstudios9395 damn. guess wendy's as a whole really depends on the location
I was one of those Domino's workers for 2 years. It was absolute hell on Earth, customers would regularly abuse us when calling on the phone and the management was just as hostile.
I'm sorry you went through that. Nin and I had similar experiences to be honest when we worked there as delivery drivers.
@PhantomStrider It's cool to see someone on UA-cam who has worked at the same fast food chain that I have. It's nice to see that you can relate to the struggle haha. Love your videos!
I can't count the many times my family has order taco bell for delivery, and every single time, they either forget something or they cancel our order
McDonald's, on the other hand, the workers are always rushing, which I don't blame, but they're always giving attitude as well
All the other fast food chains on this list, we've rarely ever had a moment where we weren't satisfied
@Grima the Fell Dragon they always put sour cream and tomatoes when i tell them not to put it
Well you use a scab company, you get shit service. Gig encomy is bad, and you're seeing the end result. Stop being a lazy scab and get it yourself
You sure you weren’t at the Krusty Krab?
Poor kid.
Yes, customers are NOT always right!
@@musicloverme3993 the phrase was bent into that bullshit, and the original phrase was "The customer is always right in the likes of taste"
Some people are just not worth anyone’s time. Having worked in KFC before, I’ve seen some of the customers that come in. Certainly isn’t an amazing job.
I hope he didn't fix his order after that
That customer needed a serious beat down for that crap
Wow! That's just awful; I am so sorry that happened.
I suppose it depends on the location, and the management really does make a good work environment or a horrible one
McDonald’s food never tasted good.
This is very interesting insight from an in store drive through working perspective.. thanks for sharing this!
This is absolutely true. Can confirm. Screw the lobby, they make more on the drive customers bc of the speed and frequency.
I got food poisoning twice from BK

Need anyone say any more?
I honestly find the food pretty tasty. Not really happy with some company standards/controversy though.
I used to work at a tea shop called Teabear Teahouse
The tea was good, but when working there, I was constantly stressed out and left because we were constantly understaffed and I was frantically going from one task to another on a whim.
That must have been hard. I hope you are feeling better now. Good luck in the future! 🙂
wish us as humanity could break out of this low-frequency matesrlistic need to work for fucking money rest of your life to HOPEFULLY have a good re_TIRE_ment :/ even worse once realize WHAT money is and WHO prints if from what (thin air) and they got 90 QUADRILLION in their bank acc yet im scum if i decided to counterfiet a lousy dollar!
Keep in mind most of these are franchised chains and will vary from location to location; I’m sure there are some McDonald’s and Pizza Hut owners who are great buuuutttt well
McDonald’s- only worked here for a month or so, but I can say I only got two training days, and was then thrown to the wolves.
Oh dear god.
Weird...over where I live, the KFC in my area is fine. The food chain that I don't like the most is Chipotle. I consider Rubios

I heard overseas McDs is far better in all fields. Service food ect.
Must be a US issue?

Warning, Long Comment:
I've only had 3 fast food restaurants in my local area disappoint me, (one of them i stopped going to outside of breakfast), they were Taco Bell, Burger King, and Pizza Hut.

Hot take: I don’t care if my food is fresh or not.
I mean I’m not saying I’m gonna eat a burger that’s been sitting out in the open for like a week, but I’m fine with it not being recently made, like 2 or 3 minutes ago.

I've never worked in fast food, but my best friend worked at McDonald's and Steak N Shake while we were in high school, and according to him, the drive-thru is ALWAYS the priority over the dining room customers.
That explains why my order at my last visit to Steak N Shake took ridiculously long.
At mine they managed pretty good.

In the midst of all the whispered complaints, I legit heard an employee yell out "MCDONALD'S SUUUUUCKS" and I replied back saying "yes it doooooeeees..." And everyone laughed with me.
"Greedy company, I'm Done!"
That part got me cracking up laughing. It's stuck in my head now 🤣🤣
Honestly, Wendy’s in my hometown was surprisingly pleasant after the building got renovated.
Yo i live in Puerto Rico, and lemme tell ya, the Pizza Huts here are absolutely top tier, would recommend.

I’ve been going to Wendy’s for years and I have never ever seen anything quite like the kind of experience you mentioned. Especially if you’re like me and you probably just got chicken nuggets, fries, and a Coke.

Actually a lot of McDonald's locations are throwing out their playgrounds and actively sapping out their own identity so the franchise owner can easily sell it if it fails, giving it basically the personality of a mall kiosk self checkout. So yeah, I used to love McDonald's and even I have to wonder what's wrong with them to be *that* bad.
They may also be getting rid of the playgrounds because of the fear of lawsuits.
I wish there was a local one near me. Never seen one 🙁
Same
It’s the same for me with McDonald’s.
And now eating at a non chain restaurant with entrees under $10 is a rare event and if it is under $10 it's the most basic of basic.
"It's like Russian Roulette...except Wendy's forgot to pack the bullets." That made my day.
I'd agree on that!
Stressful is very nice way to put it.
Especially if you're a cook
Strider is so awesome! His content is very entertaining and funny! Much love to you strider for being a great channel!
The Wendy's near me has the nicest old man running the drive through window. I wonder what brought him to a place like that.
I think invader zim is pretty accurate in describing how fast food in the future will be:
HOMELESS MAN: I WANT MY SLAW!
Hope things turned out for the best bro.
I'm so shocked that Burger King's on the list. I've been visiting there up to this day, ever since my childhood!
Well, in Boaz, the burger king their is closed down.
@@christianparrish3292 Sorry to hear that.
Burger King has had a lot of monstrously bad ad campaigns, but I think the “Women belong in the kitchen” tweet for International Women’s Day in 2021 was what did them in
Oh god i remember that xD
Though i think the black bum did it frist. You know that nasty ink black bun that gave you neon green shits? XD
They REALLY didn't think that one through... I think they thought it was supposed to be flattering or empowering? But uh...ya know...kinda radiated old Folgers ad campaigns...you know the ones. YIKES! O.o
They didn't hired the right guy
Ouch! 😆 I must've missed that one but it sounds horrendous!
@@bluestreaker9242 it was....if you read their comment. Which was "or whereever they want to be" (something like that)
But yea with it in the comments it makes the twet outta context n look bad
Love your videos, I've been watching since 2017
Here we go! Another Fast food video!!!!
Whopper Sacrifice?! Where was I during this point in time?? That’s so funny! If I knew it existed I would’ve removed 10 of my closest family members. That had been comical
The "GREEDY COMPANY IM DONE" gets me every time 🤣🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀💀
Most fast food fell off this past nearly a decade and a half, especially when the pandemic hit when you look at the charts.
When Dave died it was a wrap 😂 I remember they had that honey chicken sandwich I’d get it everyday this was in the 90s
Dave Thomas was the man. It was hard when he passed and Wendy's never recovered. Miss the sunroon they had.
I haven't watched the video yet, but my local Burger King restaurant always gets orders wrong and I even got a green burger patty there once. I won't be surprised if they make the list (watched the video, guess the problem isn't exclusive to my local Burger King).
This is why I order from restaurants that make actual burgers that are local
That last lady was definitely a Karen lol. As for the communication error, it could be because she doesn't speak English well?.... so not the restraunt or workers fault. I work at a fast food restraunt and we have people we don't understand and we do actually try to communicate with them but sometimes they end up just getting mad and leaving because we can't understand them. 🤷🏻♀️
Our burger King got bulldozed and turned into a chick fil a parking lot.

I worked carts at a grocery store that near a Starbucks and was often working in the morning. Alone. You can imagine how many people drove quickly through the parking lot to get to the Starbucks drive-through.
The only problems I've had with McDonald's is slow ordering and messing up with orders
everyone come get your under 5 minutes tickets!

Here!
Here by minus 1 second interesting I get this video after watching a video about waffle house drama
4 min 🙂
I think I remember hearing that Wendy’s had/has a program where prisoners can try to earn money. Not surprising that the staff are rude
Your comment has no basis in fact.Thats just a ridiculous and predjudicial assumption.
But I can guarantee there are some prisoners who remain rude and those are the ones I’m talking about
The Whopper Sacrifice challenge is just diabolical on a whole new level.
I once went to Starbucks after getting my braces tightened one day, on my birthday too, and the customer in front of us ended up paying our order forward. What a legend.
My parents worked at Burger King and they hated it, there are two things I can think of about it
So there was an employee who was kinda mentally challenged, but apparently that means he's allowed to just freely chop tomatoes without checking if they're rotten
Another time an employee gave a costumer a COMPLETELY RAW burger
Those are the 2 stories I remember
Same here, I've had good experiences with Wendy's.
same here, never had a bad experience there
I like Wendy’s and McDonalds.
I don't know I find McDonald's tastes better then most of the competition.
I'm glad they've at least improved their fries over the years
@@TheInkPitOxThey now charge as much or more for fries than burgers too
I've been to Wendy's plenty of times, and not once did they get my order wrong. So, I've actually been pretty lucky with that.
