1st time viewer here. One of my best friends recently got married and asked me to do her makeup for her wedding. (Just FYI I have been doing my lashes this way for years.) The bride never wears makeup and also uses contact lenses. She enjoyed the look, and said she could barely feel them because they were so comfortable. After raving over her makeup the other bridesmaids asked me to do their lashes too. Everyone's makeup looked beautiful at the end of the evening despite overeating and drinking too much champagne LOL.
If you're going to try this technique, don't use excessive glue, and wait a few seconds for it to become tacky. Also, don't apply it to close to the waterline.
*Removal is also important for the health of your lashes.* Make sure the glue is well-lubricated and that there is *no tugging* involved when you take them off. Remove gently! Clean lashing of falsies with makeup remover and a q-tip to gently remove the glue and you can use them again later. Practice makes perfect! So don't get frustrated if it doesn't go right the first time. The woman in the video is obviously a pro! Her tips are right up there with what a professional would recommend and her execution was perfect 🥰

@@tamiyajohn3641 maybe try rubbing it with oil and gently pull it off. The only thing is that it’s annoying when oil gets in your eye

I love doing lashes like this. For anyone who gets puffy eyed from the glue touching your actual skin..this is the best comfortable non puffy eyed way to go.

Another easier way if your a beginner is to apply the eyelash cut up into pieces that way you'll have more control
I use clear glue and put it directly on my lash line. It's the only way I can get it

@@Kluermoi thanks for responding I’ve been getting lashes since 2006 yes they use hair glue so I don’t have many lashes and I was trying to figure out how was it going to work on me lol then she did say she’s been doing it for years meaning patience which I don’t have and definitely need and it takes a lotta practice I mean a lotta practice I tried one day girl it was awful and outta all that I finally got 1 right a wasted messy sticky day lol

@@salutemimi81 I do it the same way as when they were on the top. I take a cotton ball or q tip whichever you’d like and out makeup remover on it then I go in a downward motion on my lid gently until they loosen up and then I take them off. I’ve notice this prevents damage to my natural lashes. Lemme know how that works. 😊

OH MY GODDDD. i am so in shock i didn’t expect it to look THIS GOOD. literally i’m telling you guys you need to try this. i got it on my first try and they look SO MUCH BETTER than when i try to apply it on the top of my lashes. i will literally do this from now on becuase every time i tried to do it on the top of my lashes there was always a gap and you could see the band and it just looked so bad but omg the second you try it this way i stg your life will be channnngggedddd.

Been doing this method for 6 months ! I randomly thought of the idea one day & went for it ! I was so amazed, made each lashes I wore look so natural 🥰 They were so lightweight, I didn’t even feel them there. Lashes always bugged my corners or lifted. I love this method ! Got my 2 sisters on this, one loved it & the other did this & got her eyes so watery but JUST because she did it wrong, I told her to try again & she got it right & liked it 💕 my lashes never ripped off, which I was scared of. Game changer !!!!
How do you remove them?
@@Hay_Bay i just simply remove them from the bottom without any products. They never rip off any of my lashes to be honest but you can try baby oil or micellar water, if you wanna be cautious :)

Do not get discouraged Kiki! I have been doing this for almost 5 years now! Trust me you’ll get the hang of it with practice!💖 try using invisible lash bands if you haven’t already! Hope that helpssss!🤞
Take a blow dryer and hold it for 5 to 8 seconds over each lash before applying and that will make the glue ready for adhesion. Use a pair of long slanted tweezer to push together. Use a little vaseline on the tweezer to stop the lash glue from sticking on it when you pull the tweezers away.

GIRL same. I've tried twice and the first time I got glue in my eye and cried my makeup off and the second time I got my tweezers stuck to my lashes and just ripped them right off when I went to squeeze my natural lashes and falsies together I was PISSED 😂

Omg my lashes are curly as well & I always use an eyelash curler but i use it upside down to uncurl my lashes! Lol it deff works & helps me put strip lashes on top of my lash line

TIP!!!! If your putting the glue on the false lash and your finding it a bit hard to actually stick it onto your real lash, try putting the glue directly onto your real lashes first try to stay about a millimeter or two away from where your water line is, and keep your eyes open to keep the glue from going anywhere besides your top lashes. Now this method does require you to work a bit faster since your trying not to blink but follow the same steps as the video and boom!!! Hope this helps someone

Girl yes, this shit is the best. I started doing this like two years ago and it just elevates every look (dramatic or not) so much. You really do get used to the technique, it becomes easy after awhile. I get asked if I have lash extensions a lot when I do this, and when I tell people they're strip lashes and how they're applied, they're always both amazed and horrified.
This method has always worked for me because I have such curly eyelashes, highly recommend.

Being a licensed cosmetologist for over 10 years I would honestly advise against this. The inner lash line is so much more sensitive and you risk pulling out alot of lashes. But that is just my opinion. I would chat with your eye doctor before choosing this method

My eyelashes r very sensitive, and when I curl them they rip out 😬 i rather use this method for my eyes since they look more natural then over my eyelashes that r hardly ever there. && no applying them under does not cause your eyelash to pull off. (I do place them closer to my lid though not right on the eyelash)

I was curious to ask if this risks you loosing your natural lashes.
I’m allergic to lash glue so cant apply lashes the normal way, this is the only method i can use without having an allergic reaction. Is there any advice you can give for how to make this method safer ? I dont have any other choice and love lashes :(

First of all, I do agree that lashes put on in this fashion does look a little bit more natural because of the natural lashes being on top.
However! I do have some concerns! One of the problems with falsies is that when taking them off they can rip and damage the natural lashes underneath, and that's why I use magnetics and put them on the space above my lashes and use liner for the skin peaking through. It might look weird, but if you get the placement right and the lashes cut enough, it looks fine.

Idk why but that’s literally the only technique I have been using for applying false lashes, I legit don’t know how to put it the “normal” way on top and not make it look bad, but once u get used to this it’s to gooooo to and it blends in with ur real lashes as well 👌🏻

I have naturally long and curly lashes... I have pouted and complained over not being able to apply strip lashes and have been getting extensions for years.. Right now, I'm on break from extensions and have missed by lashes... THIS WORKS... It took me 3 tries to get the hang of it, but THIS SURE DOES WORK!!!!!!!

This has been my preferred method of applying my lashes for the past 8 years (strips 5 years)I usually cut my strips lashes into three sections and apply under the lids. I used to apply my individuals under the lids and used the same technique when I started wearing strips.
