Interesting and justified and as someone with an IRL EDC experience I find it to be the way I will Always zero my carry gun’s optics going forward. Hell I can’t just justify a civilian kill at 100yds. So why the F would I zero for a shot there on my EDC firearm?! 🤷‍♂️

I use a 10-yard zero. I don't care what others use on their pistols. It works for me and I've hit an 8 in-steel circle at 80ish yards. Hold over was about an inch over the top about 1-2 inches to the left. I have a 3.25 dot RMR

Interesting argument for an 4-6 yard EDC zero and not a competition zero at 10 to 25 yards on an EDC gun.

It depends on your eyes. I go with 15 or 20 yards. Shorter than that and I don't need the optic, at 15+ yards, the optic makes a big difference.
