But the sounds these two make when working together is dope cool. Just hoping you are still having a good experience with this gear.
Hey Anton, that's great stuff. Thanks for sharing. I have a question. If I hear correctly, in about 13:55 you are sending slides (glided notes) from TD3 to Crave... And Crave receives them and plays them. Am I correct? I would like my modular microsynths receive slide notes.... If I would use TD3 as a sequencer, and send the CV Out to OSC CV In of anoter modular/semi-modular synth will it play the slides programed in TD3?
The TD-3 manual states the following regarding the Filter-In on the TD-3 FILTER IN - this input allows the connection of an external audio signal instead of the internal VCO oscillator. So this is not for modulating the Cutoff, but for allowing the use of the TD-3 filter with external audio signals.
Anton, regarding this "multiple bug", I assume it is caused by incompatible voltages of the TD-3's gate (0 to +12 V) and the multiple in / out (-5 to +5 V). However the hold, reset and play/pause switch at more than 3.2 V. So when it's directly connected it seems to work because the hold, reset and play/pause inputs simply get voltages +/- the 3.2 V threshold. But when the multiple in-out path is used, which is also built for - 5 to +5 V, there seems to be a problem - which I cannot describe in detail, because of missing knowledge about the Crave's internals or the electronic backgrounds. I think the multiple out tries to stay conform to its specifications +/- 5 V and it cannot handle the 12 V in this range and hence possibly never clearly reaches the 3.2 V threshold, even though 0 V means off and 12 V on. The multiple seems to buffer. Does anybody else have an explanation?
