This theme is so epic. Every time I used to play the port town track I couldn't help to imagine this race to be the final showdown of a movie. Imagine an F-Zero movie - how cool would that be?
This song is the living embodiement of final chance, last chance, you can feel the intensity and the urgency in the song, It can be applied to any situation such as work, school, life. It’s a thrill to listen to while driving. it’s so good,
for all them n64 ppl out there for this track right here you just gotta love that drum roll at the beginning before the real song starts and the continuous drum roll throughout the song
Saying "is going to be" implies that a game called "F-Zero WX" is already confirmed, which it is not. Also by the time a new F-Zero game comes out, it'll be likely that the Wii branding will have been retired. (Nintendo has never used a brand name on systems for more than 2 generations)
gattler . Not really. The way you made your previous comment made me literally think that Nintendo had actually announced a new F-Zero to the point that I had to check Google News.
Back in my time was really rare to have a TV with stereo sound so i made a adaptor to a mini stereo sound amplificator to use also headphones just because of this game, since Mega Drive era i can't play games without stereo headphones anymore. lol
Well that's a good thing! You'd be amazed at how many people don't understand the difference between upscaling and actually rendering at a higher resolution.
I heard the news from one of AlphaOmegaSin's videos, I'm not sure which one exactly, but you can browse real quick on his channel, the game is coming out for the wii-u
Considering that F-Zero X had very low polygon counts, it's no surprise that it looks that way when rendered "only" at 480p. Jaggies and aliasing come from polygon edges, so if you lack polygons, you lack jaggies.
@jdemonp If you have a Wii, it's available in the shop channel for $10. Note that you'll need a classic controller (or a GameCube controller if you have an older-model Wii that has GameCube ports)
put this song while doing your homework, you'll finish it in less than 2 minutes, get the boost power voice actor as your personal homework coach you'll be completing your next month assignments hear the whole soundtrack plus with all of the above next thing you know your dead
Fun fact: the cover image in the video is actually my own scan of my own F-Zero X game box.
Damn that must be a near mint copy!
And a high quality scanner back in 2013! So cool
So how's your copy today? Hope it's still in beautiful condition
Cool story bro.
Bro that’s sick
How old are you?
Looks impeccable!
The build up of this song while racing up the narrow path before the huge jump in port town is so intense!
That was epicness..
Best part of the whole game
It's a shame that Port Town X is not in Smash, it's the best version.
A lot of X's music is some of the best. It goes so hard. Only GX can rival it. (Especially since gx has room for longer and more diverse music)
This theme is so epic. Every time I used to play the port town track I couldn't help to imagine this race to be the final showdown of a movie.
Imagine an F-Zero movie - how cool would that be?
Norman Roscher well there was an anime, that was pretty epic
Epic Shadic In my opinion that's a contradiction.
How can a cheaply animated film be epic? ^^
+Norman Roscher The Japanese version is MUCH better than the American version, trust me.
HYDESDM yeah, cause American voice actors only care about their pay check not their quality in acting.
Luigi Mario 1997 also lack of "censorship" (replacing bullets with lasers and knives with energy blades...laaaaame)
" a high speed race across the galaxy" finally a game cover that tells the truth :D
This song is the living embodiement of final chance, last chance, you can feel the intensity and the urgency in the song, It can be applied to any situation such as work, school, life. It’s a thrill to listen to while driving. it’s so good,
School sucks
@@derekmaullo2865 Indeed, I felt like I learned a lot of useless information,
Fitting you say that considering in the jack cup, port town where this music plays is the last course of the cup.
@@zekrom7774And it’s also the penultimate track before Big Hand in the Joker Cup.
This would make a mindblowing power metal song
It is.
The best racing game for the N64 with the best music!
agreed and also Xg2 great game with dope soundtrack. love it when games have each level having its own unique song.
i love blasting down the highway after my night shifts at work with this blaring out my windows
The best song to end Jack Cup. Oh, so good.
I listened to the entire thing and I'm proud
YOUR WAY OUT IN FRONT!!!
YEEEEEEEEEEEEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
THE FINAL LAP!
Man, F-Zero X is so fuckin' good.
WATCH YOUR BACK
This one of my favorite songs (If not favorite) in ALL of the f-zero games. Gba's f-zero Climax included
Same here.
for all them n64 ppl out there for this track right here you just gotta love that drum roll at the beginning before the real song starts and the continuous drum roll throughout the song
F-Zero WX is going to be the 1st online F-zero. 30 Racers, 30 Players.
I've waited for this since i was a child!! im fucking ready!

GRAMMAR NAZI!!!
gattler .
Not really. The way you made your previous comment made me literally think that Nintendo had actually announced a new F-Zero to the point that I had to check Google News.
HOMEWORK NAZI!!
gattler . Nicht godt -the medic - team fortress 2
Back in my time was really rare to have a TV with stereo sound so i made a adaptor to a mini stereo sound amplificator to use also headphones just because of this game, since Mega Drive era i can't play games without stereo headphones anymore. lol
This Track was AMAZING!!
It’s savage. Pure addict. Had to smoke all staff ghosts in time trial. Loved it. Port town, home of the Falcon
Captain Falcon (F-Zero) vs Sol Badguy (Guilty Gear). C'mon Nintendo, make it possible! 🤜🔥
Sol for smash
Oh. My god. I just realized that this is Death Wind from the original game. The bass line. It's always been there!
Oh god, OH GOD!
Astute observation, thank you. Maybe they planned to bring back DW in the game but canned it so they kept that track for Port Town.
WHERE
As great as this song is I’d kill for the snes theme to have made it to X. Especially after hearing the fan version, it’s amazing
Are you referring this?
ua-cam.com/video/dNTe1nKvd6w/v-deo.html
If yes, then yeah, it's a good remix.
YOU GOT BOOST POWER!
This theme sounds so Climactic.
*last exercise* "YEAAAAAAAAHH!! THE FINAL LAP!!"
*you end homework* "WAY TO GO! IT'S A NEW RECORD!"
i want to play this awesome game again!
I remember thinking, "FUCK PORT TOWN!" when I played the SNES version.
And now all I can think of for F-Zero X is, "Long live Port Town!"
Backwards.
Right when the guitar comes in, I just get shivers up and down my spine, so awesome :P
P.S. Just listened to the best 14:59 minutes of my life
the anthem of my childhood the epitomy of ultimate rock n roll ths song will make you lose your mind with the craziness of it
Used to destroy 5 other vehicles, then fail the race just so I could listen to this music again!
Well that's a good thing! You'd be amazed at how many people don't understand the difference between upscaling and actually rendering at a higher resolution.
I was looking for much, thank you.
An awesome track, much better in stereo
other then the grand finale prix song this is the best song in the game!
The absolute best!
Childhood nostaliga is off the CHARTS😁
YOU GOT BOOST POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Una de las carreras más difíciles y con una buena música para meterle adrenalina 🤘🏻🎸
That thing is freaking pristine. Do you have like, a cryogenic pod for it or something? THAT THING BELONGS IN A MUSEUM.
great... now im all pumped up....
0:30 Death Wind in the bassline
It took me decades to notice that.
Car + highway + this song = MASSIVE speeding ticket
I heard the news from one of AlphaOmegaSin's videos, I'm not sure which one exactly, but you can browse real quick on his channel, the game is coming out for the wii-u
This track is from the real soundtrack! Before they put this song in the game, they had stereo tracks.
It's better than what can be said of the boxes I acquired at a flea market. :P
Whenever I see someone on the side of the road with a dead car I want to say; TOO BAD, YOU'VE LOST YOUR MACHINE...
@cc1606 I know its hard not to get a heart attack from how awesome it is.
This is intense
Considering that F-Zero X had very low polygon counts, it's no surprise that it looks that way when rendered "only" at 480p. Jaggies and aliasing come from polygon edges, so if you lack polygons, you lack jaggies.
They actually did it and sold it as "Nintendo Wii Slim" (Because we needed it any smaller..) and now does not play Gamecube discs anymore.
Best music in F-Zero X besides mute city
I like crazy call at cry more than mute city and even big blue. But mute city is a classic without a doubt.
AMAZING POWER METAL !!!!!!
When you download f-zero x on your tablet and hook up a controller.
This song is perfect when you are driving in a Dodge Viper at max speed in the highway
the bass in the beginning...
Damn, I wish this music is in Smash Bros! D:
Yeah, anoying since the stage is port town.
@jdemonp If you have a Wii, it's available in the shop channel for $10. Note that you'll need a classic controller (or a GameCube controller if you have an older-model Wii that has GameCube ports)
I could hear this playing during the final lap of the Abu Dhabi grand prix
Music got me playing guitar for sure
That's the sign of victory!
playing this song on the road is an automatic speeding fine
Terry 309 honestly any F-Zero song makes you wanna speed anyway. I love listening to the soundtracks as I go to work and home everyday.
this game is fking amazing
i keep it even
I want this played at my funeral
They'd look even more amazing via Dolphin. ;)
I had this moment where I couldn't remember restarting the song and was wondering why on earth it was taking so long... Gosh, I'm dumb. =3=
feel like racing along with CapFalcon!
I have this on virtual console, and I play it on Wii U in Wii mode in 1080p HD!
@NM64 - Nintendo Maniac 64
Your Avatar: Rin.......love her :D
i agree about the techno music, it blew the whole thing...
The picture quality is just clear, playing it in 1080p.
Nostalgic
Mind=EXPROWZIUN. Great song.
When games had music!
i always thought that black part of the blue falcon was the cockpit visor.
I always tried to time it so I'd go off the huge jump when the guitar wails.
This sounds much like it should be on mega man x game
F zero and mega man do feel similar when it comes to music.
Every single time...
It's such a good game.
put this song while doing your homework, you'll finish it in less than 2 minutes, get the boost power voice actor as your personal homework coach you'll be completing your next month assignments hear the whole soundtrack plus with all of the above next thing you know your dead
Indeed the newer Wii systems ones lack GameCube controller and memory card ports.
0:54 - 0:59 this part always reminds me of the BIG ASS JUMP from that super ramp
Do newer ones not have ports? I got mine in 08, so i wouldn't know.
Port town 2 is harder but funnier...
I thought that silence was the best song but this is much better!:D:D
Now I wanna play the game.. Good idea:P
Though, that's technically only being upscaled from a true rendering resolution of 480p...
@4everwethebest They made F-Zero GX for the GameCube... or do you mean an actual NEW F-Zero game?
hah awsome
F-Zero X $ 34.99
Super Smash Bros. $ 49.99
@nintendomaniac64 how do i download this song?
How were these in stereo? The original game was fixed with monaural sound unfortunately... oO
STRATOVARIUUUUUUUUUUUS! AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
Link: Wanna play "Crazy Call at Cry" on a guitar? Check it out! Its easy!
why did they take them out actually? i'm glad i have my gc ports actually...
from the creators of Yoshi's story and Super Mario 64. XD
I didn't know the new games didn't have GCN ports...
I'm interested, where did you hear this so I can see for myself?
running dowhill in a bike at max
0:19
@cc1606 Uh... congrats? That's the whole purpose of it.
i heard their making a new f zero game
I like the snes version better but this goes hard too
Supposedly to reduce cost.
