I forgot to mention the gameplay clips will have me and my friends in the discord chatting so hopefully you find that fun! To clarify, Mighty Ruler to Tenryu to Battle Ruler was the same seesion. Battle Ruler to Fujin was a few days later. Regardless, the only thing that changed for me was my focus, comfort, and mood, and that goes a long way!
It wasnt until i started playing tekken i realized how important mental and focus is important in fighters. When i first hit Garyu i was frustrated KNOWING im better than some of my opponents but still losing. I realized if i had a bad couple games id just play at a different time to reset, and go back in with a clouded mind state. After working on my mental i shot up to Fujin in about 2 weeks max just focusing on my gameplay alone and not tilting.
Mentally being locked in helps a lot. Sometimes when i try to play with my kids around, it wont work. I just play quick matches. I leave my ego at the door too. Cant let it control you, especially not in a fighting game.
Incorrect what actually happened is your prowess dropped when you deranked so much. You got matched up with easier opponents as you win to lose ratio was low and it matched you with equally skilled players.
@@RandomPerson28337 I disagree. I deranked only once. I started my climb at Mighty Ruler. Then, I ranked up 3 times so I'm pretty sure the ranked system would eventually put me vs harder opponents as I got to Mighty Ruler and above. I'm looking at my replays rn and my Tekken Power was roughly 260k so my tekken power didn't really change, and my opponents tekken power was consistently around 230k.
This is wrong. Prowess does not decrease based on win/loss or demoting. That’s kind of the whole reason prowess-based matchmaking doesn’t work properly in this game.
