Akobian is my favourite lecturer from the club here his playing style is exactly the same as mine so it's perfect for my improvement. The only difference in play is his 850-900 rating points difference in strength. This guy is great!
I suppose the level for this lecture is intermediate, if that's what you're asking, but that is really a subjective thing. I think players of any skill level or ability will gain some helpful information from this presentation. Enjoy!

Great class and I love how Akobian teaches and engages with the audience and viewers (make sure you pause when he asks you a question so you can think of the best move too!) it was a bit too dense for me but I'm glad it's a video and I can keep on coming back to it for reference, there's no doubt that this is still an incredibly helpful video about the Czech Pirc 👍🏽

In the last position from analysis (where the King travels to b2 for a win), I liked g5-g4. Preventing white even from making some luft with h2-h3. :) Although as GM A. said there is just so many ways to win that position.
Honestly, at 1300, there's a lot of things you need to improve before you think of studying lines. You need to improve your general chess Understanding. So study tactics, and traps, CheckMate patterns and general opening principles. You'd have fun and you'd win more games.

On 56:37, a more precise way for black to win is to play ..g4, preventing white from playing h3. Then white only can move the c1 rook and the a pawn and the white king is stuck too. Then black can go all the way to b2 and win easier, like shown later or black himself can play h7-h5-h4-h3 winning as well.
I stop to analyze w/pos. at 46;18 and w look'd good attackin on g5...as I played it out w was able to create some really strong lines and put a great deal of pressure on you...but I'm no GM, I realy enjoy studying all the St.Louis CC videos w/GM Varuzhan,...he tell's the children to be quiet and raise their hands, LOL.....
at 9:20 would be bishop B4 be a good move? if they take your knight then you potentially earn a knight, a pawn, and a rook for your knight and bishop. if they dont take your knight then at least you moved you bishop to a threatening position.

My respect was lost when he tried to get a full pt in a tournament after his complaint about cheating but it was not. Only a hand writing. On the writing sheet. Should told the player to stop. Instead going to the arbiter.
He didnt try. He got the point. Rules are rules. So was given a warning but continued to do it. For all Akobian knew he could have been writing analysis. Wesley got his revenge on him later so stop crying.

The good thing about these lectures of Akobians seems to be, that he gets to a really advanced level with very understandable arguments.

Prophylaxis..."no counterplay"... sacrificing the exchange...you can tell Var studied at Petrosian's chess school!
