"Akobian Chess University" : Congratulations! Varuzhan you go straight forward in a simple way so that people can really understand. Great teacher and a Great GM! :-)
Varuzhan you remind me of me of my coach Dan Elman he was responsible for the world Chess Festival held in Saint John New Brunswick in 1988 all the best players in the word were there. Dan`s father was from the Soviet Union and loved to get the community involved in chess. Dan like his dad did the same when Dan taught chess it was infectious i see the same qualites in you. You two share the same laugh verry cool , i think the family was from Estonia , keep up the excellent work ,
yeah he look funny. he explain it very well and show which is what we need it and also this is what we need as a chess player. knowledge and from there experience.
Funny how the audience is way more delightful on these type of videos . Generally most if you are trully genuine people , I lack that in my life therefore I try my best to become it.Sorry for the randomness lol.
It's not really a King's Indian Defense when he says it is, because black could still play ... d5 and move into a Grunfeld. 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 Bg7 -- not yet a KID 4. Nf3 -- not yet a KID 4. ... 0-0 -- not yet a KID 5. Bg5 -- not yet a KID 5 .. d6 -- NOW it is a KID
The lack of it also is evident as the views from this video aswell as the quantity of comments.Where as if it were a girl twerking thousands of comments...Clearly regarding this video theres allot of different type of responses you may get but why do the girl twerking get a much larger response when all I the responses are limited.
Inaudible audience participation turns valuable didactic dialog into disjointed dialolog. Also, lecturer at times departs from logic by stating simplistically that one could not do such an such because the position would look very weak. Fischer would have smeared him between two slides, put him under his microscope, and defeated him.
akobian has the best lecture ability . i really learnt alot. thanks for posting such invaluable lecture from akobian

You are nice lecturer
The great player in the history of chess.
I'll say from the start that if there is more than 5 advertisements I'm out at that point
at 38:08
why not - 1) rook to F1 check
2) queen to F7 checkmate
?
very very pleasant man
After g4 Qd7. 0-0-0 Rae8. gxf5 Bxf5. Bd3 Kg4 looks like a pretty strong move at first glance I think!?

thx
at 35:46 23.Qf5 is not a good move cause 23...Qe8 ....but 23.Raf1+-
Where did black go wrong in this game?
Anyone here knows Akobian's youtube account? i want to see his videos
At 31:31 why not queen a5 to check? Looks to either trade queens or force king to move and thus put knight into position at e5
bobkilla430 if Ne5 black loose bishop in f5
yes
Kings Indian is really strong
It’s crazy how he calculates like 5 moves for every variation in a position...so jealous
Difficult to understand for a patzer like me
It's not really a King's Indian Defense when he says it is, because black could still play ... d5 and move into a Grunfeld.
1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 Bg7 -- not yet a KID
4. Nf3 -- not yet a KID
4. ... 0-0 -- not yet a KID
5. Bg5 -- not yet a KID
5 .. d6 -- NOW it is a KID
