Yeah back in Gen 6 I had a xerneas with Moonblast, geomancy, horn leech and close combat 🤯 Now I can finally use this with zen headbutt and play rough :D
Ok I wanna just say this. I love the idea of Physical Xerneas, the fact that it gets Close Combat and Megahorn and things like that is sick. The problem with that however is that until this gen it didnt have access to Play Rough. Now it does but its a tad late because Zacian is a pokemon, and it does everything Physical Xerneas is trying to do better, with having a secondary steel typing that makes it even better. The only thing going for Xerneas is the sheer surprise factor and the ability to Dynamax. Zacian has more speed, more natrual bulk, and a lot more power. Its unfortunate but Geomancy still makes Xerneas what it is and Im sure its gonna show its strength yet again.
In best of one, surprise factor can go a long way, that's what I like about this team. But you're definitely right that Zacian is the more obvious choice [:
Lol, ya, I was gonna say, surprise factor is arguably the single most important factor in this type of competitive game, where you have so many varying options to keep in mind and choose from.
