    If only...you could change the pitch on the paddles to in the plane of the wheel and increase height of the hull in road mode. Paddles are a lot of aerodynamic drag in road mode and looks like the hull is a a bit low slung for the road as well, but hey, this is really cool. To think I was playing with an upright design, on paper, more like the "Boat Bike" on the Gadget Show, over 40 years ago, as I'm sure many other tinkerers were as well. Fantasy come true. Are the rear wheels effective rudders for steering in the water? Apparently. That's where the upright bike conversion is challenged, not easily adapted for rear wheel/rudder steering.
