  • In this video, I explore Rabat Morocco for the first time as part of my Hijrah journey. I celebrated Eid in a Muslim country for the first time, I got bad food poisoning, I met with an influencer, and I got scammed by a tour guide.

    Asalam alaykom brother Yahya,
1:33 They've changed your train from "Al-Boraq" to a normal train because of the final distination, let me explain:
You booked a ticket to "Rabat Medina" and there are 2 stations in Rabat. (1 is > "Rabat Agdal") & (2 is > "Rabat Medina").
Knowing that the train has stopped at "Kentira City" based on the footage you provided and maybe they saw your ticket i assume they changed your train based on the info that they know and u don't which is "There are no High-Speed railways linked to that station (2)" but there's one linked to "Agdal station".., However. They wanted to help you to reach the exact the distination based on your ticket
but the lack of communition made it disturbing and confusing, and annoying for you & your wife and your trip to Rabat, my apologies on their behalf, They don't speak English only "Moroccan Darija (arabic dialect)".
5:58 It is known as "Zellij" aka Moroccan Mosiac Tile, an art stared during the 12th century by the Almohad Caliphate
ٱلْمُوَحِّدُونَ you'll find it all over Morocco.
6:30 That is a soup-tureen/bowl for a very special dish known as "Harira الحريرة" served in Ramadan during Iftar with the sweets.
7:18 If you visted a moroccan family you'll see that they specially speciallyyyy take care and spend alot of money on their "Salon"
which is a guests room only, here's a quote "If the salon is beatiful it means that family is أهل كرم Generous one"
7:53 nice lil crib you got there lol
8:49 Thats a river known as "واد أبي رقراق" cuts the two cities Rabat and Salé. people use those boats to cross over to the otherside (5dh for two people) or use the tramway, bus, or a car.
12:25 I'm an editor by the way if you want i can help my brother for free.
18:16 Don't worry brother it is very normal in the Islamic Countries to bring "الأضحية" to our homes days before Eid and we will take care of them give them food and water during that time.
21:10 Bro is already moroccan by blood he knows lol!
pro tip about guides, never use ungroupped guides, and try to avoid them as much as you can, you can type the name of the place you want to visit in "youtube" and you'll find all the info you need about it specially if it is historic, find the arabic name of the place>translate it to english>and search for it on youtube.
I've enjoyed the video man, can't wait for the Casablanca vlog, and Eidek Mubarak akhi may Allah open the jannah doors for you and your wife.
تقبل الله منا و منك صالح الأعمال

I'm ready to provide help to you with all the informations or anything you need to know about Morocco, Just reply to this comment and i will reach out to you via your socials.

if you go to very rural areas you could find like people doing very weird rituals and black magic is very common in those places (almost no one tells this)
another thing that is curios is that people praise the moroccan king a lot to the point that when they meet him they kiss their hand and almost bow down to him.

Dude, i've noticed in your last videos that you complain a lot aboutt everything in Morocco, food, people, places, streets... seriously, i don't get the point of coming to a country to bash it out all day long so as to show off your so called "hijrah journey"! that's so hypocritical as a muslim while you should be focusing on the spiritual and religious side, but then if you don't like it here just leave already.

    • @yahyaspath

Its not hypocritical in any way - I am showing the realities of what it is like for a western Muslim moving to a Muslim country (Morocco)
My videos are not for nationalistic Moroccans who want to hear how great Morocco is.
Its crazy how you ignore the parts that I speak good about Morocco and instead focus on the negatives.
Nowhere is perfect, including Morocco. Stop crying that someone says something negative about your country.

All love and respect to Morocco and its people. But some people get weird over recording and pictures. We live in the modern world and there is CCTV everywhere, you need photographs to get ID and passports. Im trying to get some really beautiful view on camera and thats where you arbitrarily draw the line? I try and not record peoples faces but damn. Some people are incredibly narcissistic to think im trying to get them and not the views on camera. Same people who will make a stink about it probably have facebooks and instagrams 😭
