The apartment prices are normal in Morocco, even Moroccans pay such prices. People need to remember that the standard of living has increased everywhere in the world, Morocco inclusive. so there should be no surprise. Also, if you would like to live in a nice place, you would need to pay higher.

I have lived in Morocco for many years, so I know the prices in many cities... and if you can afford it... you can enjoy it, if you don't have that much money you can find something cheaper, but you can tell by the furnishings... everyone has different needs
You can open a bank account with Bank of Africa they accept to open bank accounts with out residence and by the way if you want to apply for residence you have to own a Bank account it's one off the paradox things in Marokko ❤🇲🇦

As someone who has made Hirah, the furnished apartment is actually quite a blessing. Though, you have found in an apartment, it is more than likely that you will be moving after a year or so. The only reason being is because he will start to know the city a bit better , you’ll find other places better prices & so on. We moved around three times before we found somewhere stable. Unfortunately, moving companies in the Middle East aren’t very careful with furniture, etc so we had to repurchase pretty much everything

£500 is an outstanding amount for a 3 bed. I can't understand people in Europe or the West complaining about it like a bunch of cheapskates. Now we just need to see the apartment and the rough location. Tangier definitely a homely place to go and live but the locals can be hot-headed especially the Djebala and th Rwafa stay away from their beef 🍖

My wife and I are planning a trip end of this year and want to hit 3-4 major cities to see where we can fit in. Agadir is a bit out there in terms of transport in relation to the other cities so I wanted to see if anyone had any constructive critique of that city. We are moving from Canada if that makes a difference.

As an estate agent myself I can assure you that we also do what we can for them to sign ASAP but most Landlords are super lazy and tell us they will soon etc etc. Its super annoying for you as tenants and for us as estate agents. Why are landlords lazy to sign? This is why people don't like moving to Muslim countries. Non Muslims are more straightforward and customer oriented which is sad.

If you have the money and want the experience, should look at temporarily living in Madinah. Us British citizens can get a 6 month Saudi visa for £33. Furnished apartments are probably the same price in Morocco. Not sure about the prices to rent a car. You NEED a car in Saudi Arabia unless you don’t mind waiting 1-45 minutes for a taxi lol.

There are plenty mosques within 0.5 mile radius in towns like Bolton, Blackburn, Bradford, Birmingham, Preston...the list goes on. There are also numerous darul ulooms and madrasahs. I and my numerous friends did our Hifz in the local mosque. Im not arguing against moving to a 'muslim' country but i dont get this new craze and hype about doing 'Hijrah'. Your kids will not be far better off living in for example morocco or dubai than London or Manchester. Neither will they be more religious just because its a 'muslim" country when we all know what really goes on in the muslim world. Step out on morocco and places like Marrakech at night in the small streets and you will see what really goes on and what people are up to. I have lived in the middle east brother, consumerism is their religion. The only difference is you can pray outside without anyone staring at you and you have a bidet in the toilet ..seriously. oh and i just came back from Kuala lumpur too, as expected it dissapointed me. You go to places like Bukit Bintang and you will be shocked at what goes on and what the police allow to happen.
