I am Moroccan brother, instead of staying on airbnbs you can ask people around (for example outside mosque) on cheap house for only one month with a non tourist price

Jazakallah khair for the advice, however that is extremely difficult for someone with no connections and cannot speak the local language - I also need a certain standard of apartment for work/filming etc.
Other than that, it is a great suggestion!

The apartment prices are normal in Morocco, even Moroccans pay such prices. People need to remember that the standard of living has increased everywhere in the world, Morocco inclusive. so there should be no surprise. Also, if you would like to live in a nice place, you would need to pay higher.

As someone who has made Hirah, the furnished apartment is actually quite a blessing. Though, you have found in an apartment, it is more than likely that you will be moving after a year or so.
The only reason being is because he will start to know the city a bit better , you’ll find other places better prices & so on.
We moved around three times before we found somewhere stable. Unfortunately, moving companies in the Middle East aren’t very careful with furniture, etc so we had to repurchase pretty much everything
