Unless you have crap tires you usually don't spin out until snow is several inches deep then snow tires or *winter tyres* give you good grip. It's the ice when snow partially melts then refreezes that gets you. We get that here in Oregon and that is what causes school delays or closures as it's unsure how fast temps will recover sometimes. It may be all right by 10am above freezing and streets just slush. Or it may be 1pm and the streets are a skating rink. Nobody except emergency personal should be driving when that happens and even then they should have a well equipped vehicle.
This tune - especially the beginning - reminds me of Cyriak. Now i'm picturing Wario Land 4 gone bonkers with rollercoasters made with random Wario body parts.
You know, I really wish I can find a complete OST of this game that doesn't skip songs, doesn't have additional sound effects, and isn't a well-meaning faithful recreation of the music from the game using the uncompressed samples it used.
@@laylover7621 Honestly good point, maybe it's just my nostalgia speaking but I really love the whole presentation of this game, visuals, sound design, level layout and gameplay are all like perfect
I remember not being able to get past certain parts of this level until I could figure it out. I was playing on a Front-lite Gameboy Advance. I couldn't see everything clearly. Another thing about this game is the puzzles. Gosh darn the problem solving, I love it! I want to see another game with that kind of mechanic minus the hurry up part.
You have to hit the switch, snowball through, then if you broke that block in the room right above the CD, you can jump straight down, break the block, and bam. Just dash through the end again now and you got it.
@@empresscarrie6230 It's so funny receiving this reply now, you would figure that by now I would have gotten it, and I have, but that actually happened JUST 2 days ago when I picked up my 8 year old Wario Land 4 save file again on a whim after playing enough Pizza Tower lol. Thanks anyways.
@@TNB12 I did think about it, but I figured there's stuff I've waited years on so I gave it a shot as I beat the ruby passage just two days ago in 100% hard so it was fresh on my mind. Glad you got it. Wario Land 4 is a treasure. (✿◠‿◠)
@@TNB12 Also, funny you mention Pizza Tower, it's the exact reason I picked up Wario Land 4 again, but because I don't have access to it (no PC). So I've been playing it on mobile, hahahaha...
Dude, that's exactly what I was thinking. I'm playing the game for the first time, and Iliterally looked up this song just to see if anyone else thought the same thing. Glad someone else did, even if it was 10 years ago.
This and Pinball Zone are the only levels in the game in which it is easy to get 0:00 in the clock... Basically because the ice gorillas freezing you and throwing back to the bottom (:
@BizzarreProductions I just finished the game recently! Here's the Normal mode way to get the CD: Break through the snow blocks AFTER you press the frog switch. Go all the way back over to the block blocking your way to the CD and smash it. Go back again except go in the hole this time and you have the CD. You pretty much have to traverse the route back twice.
I was stuck on this level for more than 1 hour, did not know where to go, what path us correct, the yetis are friggin stupid, remove the icicles (please god, they ended my run so many times!!!!)
I spent half of the level trying to figure out what that annoying-as-hell screeching noise was, until I realised it was Wario skidding on the ice XD
i swear i spent 30 minutes of this level to listen to the music, or wondering what the skidding noise was each.
Same
Same here
Man This Is Hilarious Lmao
Any music change or sound differently when Wario's in some special power ups and stuff
STOP MAKING ME ICE YETIS!
How did Ryoji Yoshitomi perfectly capture what a cold storage would sound like if it was a funky song
Fr 😂😂
Its this and cold storage from Pokemon Black and White
I used to drive out at night in the streets when it's snowing outside, listening to this jam and I felt like I was gonna skid with Wario when frozen

This actually is good music to be listening to during the winter!
this level was insanely huge! it actually took me almost a full hour to get through it, but I still managed to get out before the time bomb went off.
I don't want to be rude at all but... Damn. One hour is a lot.
kinda same, it took me like 20 minutes to understand the second snowball slope part of the stage.
It took me ages to understand how you get the CD.
The music is so chillax.

right??
Totally reminds me of Cows & Cows & Cows

Yuh huh
Wario Land 4 has great music
Imagine how great it would be for this game to be remade with as much care as it was put to make the original game...
not impossible
This game is actual perfection why would you want it remade

It is the most confusing level in the game for sure.
Song's got a nice prog feel with some weird time work in the beginning and some complicated drum fills in the middle. I like it.
I love these level names.
This level... IS EVIL...
for real
I still have this game 😃(and)why don't they have a Wario game like this anymore?
Since i played this level for the first time, the music plays everytime i see something related with giant freezers
this gives me serious knuckle's chaotix vibes

a weird place,maybe a base placed inside a fridge

Alone in the dark on a frozen road in a city...
Then I'm slip slidin' 'round like a boss.
Disco volante is one of my favorite albums of all time!!!
the "don't preheat your oven because if you do the song won't play" of Wario Land 4
More like don't preheat your oven because if you do the song won't play is the 40 below frigde of pizza tower
I can listen to this shit for hours man the soundtrack in this game is ridiculously good mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Sounds like something from a Mega Man Zero game.

we are lucky and glad that we lived it. it will stay with us forever
There's a few things tou need to do to get to the CD case, and that's when the timer's going down.

i wanna smoke a blunt w ryoji yoshitomi so bad 😫😫😫🔥🔥🔥
Sounds funky for the ice level within a fridge and some yetis in it
