This video shows you how to install a new strut boot or bumper on your 2012-2017 Toyota Camry. The strut boot protects the strut damper from intrusion by water and debris, and the bumper protects the strut when it bottoms out. If the boot or bumper have worn out on your strut assembly, you should replace them.
This repair was done on a 2013 Toyota Camry SE 3.5L Sedan 4-Door FWD and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2012 Toyota Camry
2013 Toyota Camry
2014 Toyota Camry
2015 Toyota Camry
2016 Toyota Camry
2017 Toyota Camry

Really good video, mate. You've explained it clearly and your filming is excellent. Thanks for that.
That was the easiest video and most informative way to reboot the struts
Aren't you supposed to take the car of the jack stands and then torque the top 3 bolts to spec?
I just noticed today my bumber is not fastened and just free to slide up and down the strut 🤦🏽♂️
