For us here in the UK, we used to know which television broadcaster is or had bought out which company. This is made publically known. But now ?? I’m an American so not very familiar with British law but isn’t this blatantly against the law? In the U. S. The tide has turned on this and lawsuits are being won daily against this type of racist behavior.

Yes, it clearly breaches the Equality Act 2010 and ITV can be prosecuted by the Equality and Human Rights Commission for it.
We're simply pending this switch, it's going to happen based on public perception but the difference the UK has currently compared to the US is that the US is likely to get a conservative government while the UK is likely to get a labour (more left sided) government.
At an individual level people have been pushing back against this for some time - it just tends to take a while for the government and media to catch up with regular working people as they really are extremely out of touch in the UK which is what enables these kind of issues to begin with.

As someone, who watches British tv from abroad. I am always shocked by the lack of diversity in television ads. Considering that 81.7 % of UK residents are white....there are very few white people in the ads!So the policy of not employing whites, appears to be the norm!
