17 of us got off the bus, as soon as we did, the cops, complete with horses, decided to 'Kettle' us into a small corner of the street! I'm no spring chicken and, we were squeezed so hard into a tiny place, I was crushed to the point of being unable to breathe! I tried to get past the cops who were doing the squeezing, and had a horse come charging at me, with the cowboy riding it, using the reins like a whip!
My face/eyes were covered in blood and a few cops did land a few punches on me before I staggered out of it, getting about 10 ft away, and being punched another 5 - 8 times in the face! I did nothing, other than get off a bus! Still, a fractured cheek bone, 9 stitches and 5 hours in A&E wasn't bad for a 78 year old! Pure evil from the police, EVIL!

St Georges day would have been a normal peaceful patriotic display of British people displaying their love of British values. The police created an atmoshere of evoking hostility in their action of containing the people.

When I was a kid in Kent back in the 1960s you hardly ever saw that flag except when it was on a church. You see it far more now.
