What's a good starting point on the angle of the bar?

Do you want more angel in the j bar on the frame/ driver side on really dry slick tracks? This and the attention R.T.I question would improve our car a lot and I don't trust any other people to tell us what to do so thank you for your help and content I am a huge fan

Putting more angle would increase side bite I would drop on rearend 1/2"

So does it matter which way the shocks go because with some of them the can move left and right

You guys have a 3 link b mod class?

3-link bmod stuff is the same as what we are talking about. Some people call them 2-link cars and some people count the upper bar as a third link. So our 2-link class would be exactly what your looking for. We talk b-mod stuff and sport mod in this class. Thanks!

ATTENTION R.T.I----Guys are putting limiter chains ⛓ on the right rear of their Midwest mods and I am curious about the physics of that.. wondering if they are pulling the car below ride hight and then chaining it 🤔 obviously that would keep the car under a load the whole time?? I am just trying to understand why I guess.. and having a 200 or 225 on the left rear then using a 400 lb or higher spring on the right rear? And then compressing the right rear and then chaining it.. I'm confused .. when would you do this and how.. keeping in mind that our control arms have to be a certain amount of degrees difference.. any input would be extremely helpful and appreciated.. I moved the right rear arm down one hole to eliminate the loose in problem like 👍 you said and it worked well... we need more side bite and straight line speed. Or forward traction.. on a dry dry slick 3/8 mile semi banked track

Hello Tim Sorry it took so long to get a response. We have been crazy busy! Loading the RR with a chain will increase forward traction off the corner however if the track gets rough it can make the car a handful. work with lead in the rear end to help off corner. more j bar angle might help side bite. Thanks Tim!

How disrespectful with the yawning? Love your stuff. They were there for trophies not educational material. I enjoyed every minute, always a pleasure
