the only one person on all of youtube who explained in 5 mins everything..)
Thank so much))
Wow, am I an idiot that I just learned how to do this??? Gee wiz!
On my concert spots and regular commercials I can now bus all my stereo music tracks to a stereo Aux Input, then insert a the compressor on that that Aux Track and have it triggered by the “Vocals” Aux Track thru the “Sidechain"
Now it turns down my music between the vocals “FOR ME”. I don’t have "Touch up" the faders and mix it over an over till it’s perfect. I never understood what “Sidechain Compression” was! Do now!
Never stop learning I guess… thanks so much for getting me excited about learning more about Pro Tools again!
Evergreen content. Hope you're still around to get your flowers for this knowledge.
Everything I know about Pro Tools started from this channel. Big thanks Jason, now I get paid for mixing people's song using Pro Tools
Thank you for the tutorial!
Of course turning up the ratio and backing off on attack on that compressor would make the pumping even more pronounced. Great tip!! Ringo's cymbals used to be compressed by his tom toms on Pepper via good ol' tube powered Fairchilds.
Very nice explanation, high quality, enjoyed, subscribed and added to my playlist
Thanks mate. I’ll be back for more lectures
