Hello everyone! I recorded this video last week so I was unable to put any information in the video as I’m out of town at the moment (same applies to next week’s video), but recently a 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit Turkey & Syria and they are in desperate need of any help they can receive. Here is a list of trustworthy donation sites if you’re able to help with whatever you can. If not, please share with people you know - it can save lives! ahbap.org/disasters-turkey en.afad.gov.tr/earthquake-donation-accounts www.akut.org.tr/en/donation www.savethechildren.org/us/what-we-do/emergency-response/turkey-syria-earthquake If you’re located in or around the DC / DMV / NOVA area & can’t donate financially, you can take items over to the Turkish Embassy in DC. THANK YOU!! I received my Sentro knitting machine and I’ve been failing miserably with the most simple things. Your tutorial is so creative and easy to follow. Hugs to you!
This was so helpful, I've been watching so many tutorials trying to figure out how to crochet the ends of a work and use scrap yarn - now I finally get it!! Thank you
i love your videos. As soneone who dosent know how to crochet or knit i thought this could be a perfect gift.I would love to see other videos of your sentro machine content. I pass every single day looking for good videos like yours. Édit :I just got the machine yesterday and bought a few yarn. Will be using this tutorial.thanks
Thank yooouu! This was so helpful!! I watched multiple different videos on how to use this machine and I kept failing. I watched yours and was able to do a beanie on the first try 😍😍😍 thank yoouu 💜
Very good instructions, nicely shot. I want to add my idea here for colour changes: I crank it for on more round with the free tales, then I put the tales under the 2 adjoined needles to the right alongside the working yarn. Repeat until the tales are too short. I usually leave them just like that and no knots needed.
Thank you for this tutorial ! So to everyone who'd like to try making the tube top, take in consideration a few things before doing it. I'm 175cm, I'm usually size S but this top ended being so small it was more like a bra than a top, so 105 rows are definitely not enough. Then there's absolutely no coverage as it is see trough. I wish there was more information about sizing in this tutorial as I lost a lot of time and energy trying to make it... But I hope to find a way to make this top and make sure it fits me.
You can avoid the twisting around under the machine by rolling the project in on itself as you go.... like a donut! Hope that makes sense!!! Love your videos girl. 💜✨️ Keep it up you're so talented.
Love this video and made a tube top :) wouldn’t use a single crochet to finish finish though it wasn’t stretchy enough to fit the top on.. maybe I messed up somewhere lol
@@izysto1043 Hii! I haven't finished yet because i haven't been motivated lately and been busy with school but i'll try my best to finish it! It'll be posted on ig tho once its done
Hey Ikosun! If you roll up the ends of the hanging part inside itself (like a doughnut) periodically, not only will it keep it from being in the way while you’re still cranking, but the weight of the rolled work will hold down the stitches still attached, reducing the chance of getting dropped stitches.
This was an awesome tutorial and pretty straightforward and easy to follow! Thank you for thanking the time and effort to share your tips and knowledge. Question though, when I pull on the outside yarn thread to close the gap, it is unraveling the project instead of closing the outside gap, was wondering where I may have gone wrong?
I have one for a long time but no ideas, your a miracle for me ! 😍. I’m so happy to found your UA-cam channel. You explain so well and just simply I love your videos… thank you to share us your works and lots of creatives idears. 🌺🤗 from France 🇫🇷. I love this tutorial!!! I hace a question, i made a tube top but my crochet edges (Even after i tried to do they loose) came tight and no i have trouble a little trouble to wear this top. Any advice, thanks You ❤
I just bought a sentro knitting machine but it hasn’t came in yet I just ordered it yesterday so I’m excited to make stuff with it like a tube top or beanies. I hope it works tho! Fingers crossed! At least this video was helpful so I know what I’m doing and dealing with! ❤❤❤
i just orders a 22 hook mini knitting machine ive been crocheting for about a yar now but im very slow and getbored easily so i feel this this machine will helpa ton
Tube top: I have the same Sentro and this didn’t work for me. The tube itself only fits in my leg at best (stretched it a bunch) I’m a medium. Don’t think this will work for all girlies. I think I’ll try this w/ a back post crochet instead. Edit: I’m a medium for reference.
hi!!! i recently started watching your vids and they are amazing!! could you do a tutorial of how to make a tube top without the machine?? i’ve been wanting to do it for a while now but i can’t find a tutorial
I have a question about sizing! For example, with the tube top, if you made it for an XL would you still do the same but just stretch it out more, or would it still not be big enough? Thank you!
You think it’s worth it? I’ve read a few reviews saying it breaks after not many uses? Would a loom kit be a better choice ? Much love! Your videos are the BEST crochet and crafting videos out there ❤
I'm having the same issue and I'm a size 8 on the top ❤ great tutorial tho honestly never going to get this onto myself unless I want to rip the top itself maybe I need to use stretch yarn If thats a thing
hi, this car is coming to me soon and I can't find a good tutorial for a sweater/jumper. Can you make it? At first I tried to find tutorials on Russian UA-cam, but there is nothing there. You have the best videos, thank you. Sorry for my broken English
hi there! may i ask how many grams of yarn did you use for the scarf & beanie? also thanks for the tutorial your videos have always been really helpful!
hi! i tried to make the tube top and it was fine until i single crocheted to finish it off, then it wouldnt stretch at all and i couldnt get it over my shoulders D: is there another way to finish off?
hi! i’m so sorry about that ! you can undo the single crochet part and then use your tapestry needle to weave in the end and that should keep the stretch so you can wear the top
Hi I started crocheting recently when I started watching i videos ❤️ and I've been trying to make crochet squares, I noticed that the sides are almost never equal and even if I count my stitches my squares end up slanting inward, I don't know how to correct this
i tried doing the cat beanie. the sentro machine is amazing but i failed at closing the beanie.. i dont really understand it and some of the stitches was juat hanging, didnt slslt it...
You don’t have to if you continue with scrap yarn for a few rows then one row with no yarn and cast off once separated or crochet the last row of the actual garment.
Hi I'm really having trouble with casting off the scrap yarn I've been re doing it for 2 hours and it comes out tight and not stretchy what am I doing wrong .?
This is an awesome tutorial for beginners like me, but my machine keeps dropping stitches even after the scrap yarn and idk what to do or how to fix it :( Does anyone have any advice for this?
Can someone help me? Every time I use the scrap yarn method and pull the yarn, the scrap yarn cinches. It’s only one side too. The other side doesn’t cinch at all. I have to manually undo the scrap yarn on one side. The other side comes off really easily. Thanks
Idk if my machine is defective or what but absolutley evry other chain gets dropped no matter how slow I go, whether or not i use wasted yarn EVERYTHING that could go wrong is and my machine is SOOOOO LOUD
I tried this with the same color yarn all around and no matter what I did I dropped stitches. Idk what I’m doing wrong I was wondering if anyone had advice. I even tried single crochet with different yarn so I could see better and it didn’t work.
Not so fast. The cross thread are not in yet so it could unknit too easily. We need bottom up or rop down cross threads for better holding and design. It is incomplete i think

I don't have one of these machines although I plan on getting one. I confused about why ending and starting with scrap yarn helps
I think it lessens the likelihood of dropping a stitch in your actual project.

Is the sentro capable of creating a garter knit stitch?
So you don’t need to cast off from the machine with the tapestry needle?
You don’t have to if you continue with scrap yarn for a few rows then one row with no yarn and cast off once separated or crochet the last row of the actual garment.

hii, quick question do you think its better to get a 48 or a 40 machine bc I wanna get one but im not sure which sizeee?
48 :) so you can make items bigger just in case you’d like that
I tried the tube top, but when I casted off with my crochet hook it left a big hole
How can we make them without the machine ?
i single crocheted the ends of the tank top and now it has no stretch and i can’t get it on.

I just did a tube about 95 rows. I’m very new to knitting so maybe it’s just lack of experience
Hi ,tape the legs down to that piece of wood , thats what i did to mine
why do yu need scrap yun
I was wondering the same thing. Like why? Other than having an edge, kinda like fabric does when you get it off the bolt???
😍🥰🏳️🌈👍
Not so fast. The cross thread are not in yet so it could unknit too easily. We need bottom up or rop down cross threads for better holding and design. It is incomplete i think
How would I make a full tube dress? Do I just continue the tube top?
Something is strange with the tutorial, if you single stitch around at the end the tube will not be stretchy anymore.
i jsut realized it said uploading 2mins ago
I understand everything but at the same time I'm too dumb to understand how I'm suppose to crochet
