I just want a craftable Khvostov 7G-0x. Give it a wide range of perks to choose from (including different sights options) and have its exotic intrinsic be something simple like fire-select (auto, pulse, scout) when you hold reload. It could the first exotic new lights get and have it be used introduce them to the shape/reshape mechanics. At the end of the quest they should have decent "every activity" exotic customized to their liking.
My original concept for the reworked Khvostov funny enough was an underbarrel grenade launcher that would consume your grenade ability and launch it as a mountain top each projectile doing less damage but having massively increased range....and then we got quick silver
The full saying that he referenced in the video is "a jack of all trades is a master of none, but always better than a master of one" or something along those lines
I agree. Having a gun being literally completely customizable would be perfect and allow players tailor it to their playstyle and would incentivise making multiple copies too.
I want No Land Beyond more than anything. Bungie said they are unlikely to bring it back because it ruined the ammo economy of D1 and would for D2 but they could fix that by not making it primary ammo. I mean an Iron Sight sniper is almost an exotic perk on it’s own, but even then they could change it to keep mulligan, but get increased ads speed and bolt speed on headshot and turn it into a quick scope sniper
@@lost_lament idgaf. The feeling and novelty of the iron sight is divine, and the messages, oh boy the messages you would get after landing a crispy headshot on some salty hunter in golden gun.
@@lost_lament NLB was the biggest meme gun of D1, plus it rewarded truly skilled players in the most satisfying ways. It’s not relevant to the lore at all, but would still be a great addition to the game.
I love Necrochasm and I want it back so bad. You could honestly make it a strand exotic if you wanted to, maybe ToM treatment too. Alternate firing mode that suspends or unravels things
I’m honestly surprised Nova Mortis and Abbadon haven’t returned, since they’re literally Thunderlord. Was actually hoping Thunderlord’s catalyst would be fundamentals so it could return, but at least Thunderlord got a powerful catalyst. So maybe they can return still and get void/solar versions of the catalyst.
Hell fucking no. Abbadon and Nova Mortis were super lame and the worst Exotic weapons ever made because they're literally just copied and pasted. I mean their very existence undermines the "exoticness" of Thunderlord, which is an amazing masterpiece of an Exotic in D2.
Zhalo Supercell with arc burn and primary gunfighter in the weekly strike playlist was some of the most fun you could have in D1, similar to Telesto void burn secondary gunfighter. Risk Runner may be a better upgrade, but Zhalo just feels and sounds more satisfying to use. Looks infinitely better too, especially with the skins. I’d be happy if it stayed in D1 as good memories
The only things better about it are the fact that it had more range being an AR and you could trigger the lightning arc without being hit by arc damage. But in D2 whenever you go up against arc enemies riskrunner just slaps infinite ammo with arc chains every second it’s insanely good and the catalyst improves range.
@@TheRisible It gave better Super Emergy recharge, and if it were to come into D2, I bet EVERYONE would use it during strikes and GM’s depending on burn
@@zero_karma0496 I’d be fine with special ammo and a damage drop off making headshots one shot at a shorter range than normal. I just want to use the gun again
The exotic Khvostov could come back as an exotic you have to craft at the relic, and you could add intrinsic champion rounds depending on which mode it was in. You could even make it so it could be either Kinetic, Stasis, the new strand and whatever other damage type comes with the final shape.
I had an idea for icebreaker returning: What if they renamed it Ice-Maker, make it a stasis weapon, it’s perk being it regenerates a shot after defeating frozen or slowed targets, and give it chill clip for when it’s mag is full. With stasis how it is in PvP I don’t think it would be too strong. And they should give queenbreaker a rework and just give it hereafters perks instead of it’s current state.
I agree with Queen Breaker, I’ve been saying that it should get some sort of arc blinding dragonfly. So when you crit a target the others around it are blinded. Bonus points if they can include the mine affect to this weapon. Edit: but in terms of icebreaker becoming ice maker, it’s no longer icebreaker & would basically be chillclip & tombstone
that would completely make the weapon useless especially in pvp, why would you run an exotic sniper that only regenerates shots after killing a frozen enemy. this would probably make icebreaker one of, if not the worst exotic in the game top 1% trials player btw
Icebreaker is intimately linked in my mind to the first Oracles in VoG via the "5 stand on the ledge and 1 plays 'catch the Guardian' with 396 exploding harpies" cheese strat. So much fun. I remember telling my raid group "BUY IT! BUY IT NOW!" when Xur sold it for the first time the Friday before our first attempt at VoG. God I miss those Sundays of grinding out VoG when we were all newbies and *desperately* needed those small handful of Ascendant Shards the raid would give you.
I think the First Curse could be really interesting if they gave it huge range and zoom and lowered the rpm to 100 maybe to compensate for that. They could keep everything else and maybe add a stacking handling and reload buff along with the og perk. Would make for a super cool precision hand cannon power fantasy that we don't really have in the primary slot aside from Eriana's. And that gun sound was amazing!!
Pocket Infinity was the first exotic weapon I got in D1, doing the whole exotic quest to get it. It was special to me because of it and helped get through VoG the first time. I just feel like Bungie did nothing to try and fix it to make balance and viable as the years went by, leaving in the closest collecting dust. I wished it came back, completely reworked or at the very least the gun model was use for something else
Actually, they did manage to finally balance pocket infinity. The last non bug fix for it made it so each consecutive shot reduced the damage of each bolt. The lowest I managed to get it was 9 damage per bolt. However, they had such a hard time keeping the gun from breaking the game in general, I remember someone from Bungie specifically stated they will never touch the gun again due to the amount of headache it caused.
Dragon's breath was such a fun gun to play around with. I really would love to see it come back. The design of Plan C is so sick that even if it came back completely unchanged, I'd use it.
Dragons breath was my go-to launcher almost 100% of the time, it was so fun to use. Especially when you mastered arcing the canister over cover. I got *a lot* of hate messages from salty players thinking I was cheating somehow. Although, I had a legendary launcher (whose name I forget) with absolutely *_broken_* reload speed, so for pure dps, I'd switch out.
To me I wish dragon breath was a guided napam rocket launcher. • If you hip fire the rocket would just go straight • if you aim the rocket is yours to control on where it goes [ note : it does have a limited time until detonates, probably 10sec ]
I could definitely see young wolf's howl in D2, maybe with some cabal themed ornament. I really want to see necrochasm back as an smg. I just love how fast it fires. I think Cloudstrike is the rebirth of zen meteor. And in a similar vein, the DSC sniper is a rebalanced version of ice breaker. No land beyond I really really want just cuz it looks fun as hell. I just hope bungie doesn't do a low blow by making an ornament with clean iron sights.
Young Wolf's Howl could synergise really well with solar 3.0. Just make it a bit like the Titan's consecration abillity where light attacks scortch foes and heavy attacks send out a wave of fire that ignites them
The issue with nlb is the fact that we have primary slot snipers in d2 only difference is nlb used primary ammo which would create an issue as they would more then likely nerf its damage output to counter that or make it special ammo which would defeat the purpose of the gun in the first place.
@@Jihadbearzwithgunz if we can have fighting lion, we can dream of someday having no land beyond :(( even if it does less damage I wouldn’t care, I miss using that gun.
Fabian Strategy could be interesting because it’s essentially just a high rate of fire auto that makes you live longer and has rampage - but, also consider that Sweet Sorrow with the Land Tank trait essentially does the exact same thing these days - with better perks
I do remember the Zhalo Supercell, I just want it back for the nostalgia even I know there are better options now as thunder lord, trinity ghoul and the riskrunner, Bungo should bring all D1 weapons back but reworked and time to time
If Zhalo does come back, they could easily give it the Arc 3.0 treatment and have it's exotic perk jolt targets and chain lighting that jolts additional target. Where as Riskrunner is more defensive with the damage reduction, Zhalo would be a more aggressive weapon with the constant jolt spread.
@@jameswulfgang154 that honestly just sounds more like a buff for Riskrunner, unfortunately Zhalo would simply be way too similar to the other lightning-themed exotics. Would kinda go against its nature as an "exotic" if the main ability is identical to several other weapons in the game...
With 3.0 subclasses out I think it's a prime opportunity to bring back the d1 swords and rework them. Something like the heavy attack of dark drinker applying weaken for a short time etc would be kinda cool
I could see Tlaloc returning with either a new secondary perk or a Catalyst which would provide an effect similar to Agers Scepter, dumping your super into the gun to give it a boost.
I have good memories of Patience and Time because my dad would play destiny sometimes on my Xbox. He was super bad and would take forever to do anything. But that was his first exotic and he used it all the time so I remember walking home from highschool and walking in on him playing D1 with that gun haha
I know it’s bad, I still want the No Land Beyond, I freaking love the silliness of the sniper, and I want it to stay a one shot reload weapon, but with aggressive framing, fast to aim down sight, but keep the horrible recoil to keep it balanced and keep the reload glitch for the pro player.
The beautiful thing about it was the flinch on it. I swear when you got shot and the gun flinched upward. If you the trigger during that animation, the gun will still be aiming where you were aiming.
Im kind of surprised that Necrochasm wasn't brought back around the release of the King's Fall reprise in D2. Though I can see Crota's End being brough back as like a dungeon or something later so I believe it will come back. I would also liek the Drag's Promise simply because I think it looks neat and could be better in D2.
Crota End and Necrochasm are coming back either in Season 22 or Season 26 Bungie already confirmed this they said new raid with expansion/first season then a new dungeon for second and 4th seasons and throwback raid for third season
@@ThyBigCheddar yeah, they also said that vaulted raids with their exotic already in the game would see a new exotic made for it. I think s22 will have wrath and s26 levi
I would love to see the first curse return but be an infinite firing weapon so long as you hit precision hits, I loved that hand cannon in D1 and while it's very unlikely we will ever see it again, I still think it would be good if they brought it back maybe as a pinnacle/pursuit weapon
@@sound4117 Yes, my comment with 9 likes made all of Bungie stop what they are doing and bring back the first curse to D2. Bro Polaris lance is dog shit, never compare the first curse to it again. Also you say that like in destiny 2 perks aren't shared anyways on different weapons.
DUDE, I never played D1 enough to get the Khvostov as it was added long after I stopped playing, but I recently started playing D2 again, and this thing would be an INSANE Weapon in D2. Look at our current Seasonal Anti-Champion Mods. They are mostly tailored around Auto, Pulse, and Scout Rifles. In fact, I think the Seasonal Mods for champions Typically do have those 3 gun types as some of the main ones for them. As long as the being able to Switch between Gun Types was able to be Done by Holding Reload, you could easily have a 2 Anti-Champion Weapon in only one Slot. That would be INSANELY Useful to have.
out of all the guns that were forgotten of getting put into D2, Zen Meteor is THE most forgotten exotic because for me there was two factors. First like what NovemberHotel said, it was finally out of the dirt and crap covered hands of Playstation exclusivity in the April update, which was 3 months until the release of the Red War Campaign of Destiny 2. Second is that it's exotic perk has what I consider is a improved successor of the Perfect 5th of the Polaris Lance which is a Primary Solar Scout rifle as well having infinite ammo is just better. Which I will have to say this to anyone who is a game designer or in a game studio, please DO NOT make platform exclusive content or take exclusivity contracts. Yeah that extra money may help out, but in the long run you will get shit by your fans or anyone who is interested in your game(s), feeling forced to buy the same game and any possible DLC that comes with the game just to have that exclusive content, while those who are not able to do that financially are forced to wait until it comes out for all platforms, only for it to either be a nerfed and neutered version of it (Looking at you PS3 & 4 Hawkmoon) or not living up to the hype. Best case of a exclusivity deal that went SO WRONG is the game Ooblets, it is available to buy on Epic while on Steam, somehow is still has a TBA, despite being two years now (Also just report that as False Advertisement at this point because the Ooblets devs said and shows no intention of releasing it to Steam).
Nova Mortis should just apply volatile rounds every other shot and the catalyst should grant you small chunks of void over-shield ever time you kill a volatile enemy Abbadon should apply 5 scorch stacks for every bullet and the catalyst should make the ignitions explode twice This way they aren’t niche options if they return to D2. Nova Mortis is used for ad clear, Abaddon is used for boss damage, and Thunderlord is in the middle good for boss damage and ad clear.
Fast forward to now, we have a Void LMG that does exactly what should have rightfully gone to Nova Mortis Sad to see Nova Mortis and Abbadon die because Bungie is just going to rework them into new weapons
I love the look of Necrochasm, Hereafter was what I used to kill oryx the first time underleveled as fuck, Red Death was my counter to the thorn meta, you could kill them before the poison got you and you would heal desperate to have them back
Universal remote was my BABY in d1. It handled like how i imagine driving a truck in a narrow street must feel, but was so satisfying to make work. I don't really see much of a space for it given slug shotguns being a thing, but I don't even care. Port it over, give it some stat changes. Maybe make it so that it gains both dmg AND range on kill as a perk, but reduce its firerate/handling a bit more? Maybe an overpenetration catalyst that gives you a one round magazine when you swap to it but the ability to shoot through multiple targets? So long as its the sniper equivalent shotgun of the game I will be happy :3
Patience and Time has all rights to come back to D2 right now. With void invisibility, you could tweak it, so when you shoot while invisible it won't break the invisibility or something like that. Maybe have it trigger invisibility on crit hits or while aiming for a long time. With all the benefits to being invisible, the time in scope should be quite long, but it would be nice to see it getting some love
I meanwhile see a perfect way to alter Tlaloc. Here's how it'd be laid out Exotic Trait: Overflowing Light - This Weapon Gains a Higher Rate of Fire after the Weilder's Super is fully charged, effect persists for 5 seconds after Super is cast, or Paracausal Fire is activated. Barrel: Likely something to control the Recoil, Arrowhead? Colum 3 Perk: Surplus (Play into the ability game of the weapon) Coulm 4 Perk(s): Choice between Demolitionist, Pugilist, and Tresh(?) (or a new perk that is the class-ability equivalent to Demo/Pug) Pretty much Tlaloc in D2 should be *the* premier ability-focused weapon, you gain power by holding your abilities in on the weapon , (Super = RoF, Abilities = Stats), and when you do use one, it becomes very fast to get that ability back. The Catalyst could play into this even more as acting as a pairing with it's Exotic Trait. Catalyst: Paracausal Fire - Alternate Weapon action, Drain super energy, increasing the impact of the weapon. Kills while Paracausal Fire is active grant extra Ability and Super Energy. Lasts until Super Energy Runs out or the Wepaon is stowed. Pretty much, Holding your super/abiltiies empower the weapon to become far more powerful (imagine a Scout with 120rpm/Aggressive impact with the RoF of a Lightweight or Rapid-Fire Frame Scout when the Catalyst is active, and with Surplus fully firing it would be a laser beam of versatile and accurate range death)
They can give the solar machine gun scorch and the void machine gun suppressing rounds.. like doing 25% of the magazine as precision damage scorches the target and 25% suppresses it
Yeah, so thinking that this means we won't see Abbadon either, but instead a unique solar LMG that is kinda like Abbadon. Personal idea would be a LMG that has scorch rounds, and reloads whenever enough shots to trigger an ignition has been hit.
One exotic I want back is Young Wolfs Howl. Already have a majority of the ones I cared for in D1. Other then that I sort of have Zhalo Supercell with Riskrunnner
The young wolfs howl would have to play with scorch and ignite somehow, since weakening/debuffing is a void trait now. Maybe the heavy attack could ignite a target and scorch nearby enemies.
The first curse was my curse, because I grinded a ton for it and decided to stick with it for a while, to justify my farm and... When I got used to it I really fell in love with the perks and looks. I know its just a gun, compared to last word, but damn I want the curse to come back for some reason, even if it will be useless
Thing about making nechrochasm an SMG is that it'd basically just be osteo striga without poison or tracking, so apart from the nostalgia it'd just be worse imo
Honestly I'd want that first Sniper, the Void and Solar Thunderlords, Young Wolves Howl, the Titan exclusive auto rifle. Khovostov for nostalgia and the Dreg sidearm and the exotic swords
I think no land beyond could be implemented as a primary that doesn't quite one hit, but does with the perk. Meaning you would have to get a kill first. I would say give it a longer lasting kill clip. Maybe 8 seconds. And call it reactive reload for nostalgia's sake. For Plan C, give it a longer lasting back up plan, but allow it to refresh on kill. And the I think the Khvostov should be a grenade version of Monte carlo. Complete with an under barrel grenade launcher to launch and enhance your grenade abilities.
RIGHT?! I always see hate for that weapon but Dregs was one of my favorite pvp weapons. I never got good at sniping type weapons, so Queens was outside my wheelhouse, but Lord of Wolves and Drega Promise were my favorites.
Just make thunderlord into an elemental lord where you can switch the elements like hard light. They can have each element have a unique effect like arc keeping thunderlords lighting strike
If you paired dragons breath with Taikonaught (the titan exotic helmet that gave tracking to any rocket launcher) and allows you to plant that napalm canister wherever you wanted it.
I feel like they shouldn’t bring back most Destiny 1 exotics without making some changes. A lot of them had their niches that they served but now exist in different forms in D2. However, Nova Morris and Abbadon I feel should make a return. Having Thunderlord without its siblings would be a pretty big disservice. Some guns just shouldn’t come back at all. Weapons like Ice Breaker and Pocket Infinity can rot in hell for all I care. Also, that new logo kicks some serious ass my friend!
While i too was a fan of Icebreaker, it can stay in D1, it wouldn't fit in D2 without being completely reworked, same with Invective, for the same reason; Ammo regen. Ultimately, while fun, it wasn't good, and bng has stated they don't want to bring such a thing back, like ever.
I low key mained dragons breath in d1 it was so fun to use Also patience and time was fuun in pvp and with arcstrider all the invis Some other weapons I loved to use were plan c and no land beyond Also someone said a craft able kohvostov, that’d be super fun
Dragons Breath needs to come back. I always loved the thing. Imagine that napalm perk on a solar scorch build. First curse, necrochasm and no land beyond would be cool to see return too. Id actually also like to see abadon and nova mortis return to along with a stasis and strand varient of it with unique perks. Just so we got thunderlords in all flavours.
It would be nice for the Dragon's breath to synergies to solar 3.0 cuz in it's first form it would detonate a solar grenade upon it's impact, but then it got a reworked to drop a gasoline then to be lightin up.
No Land Beyond should come back as a scout rifle. "Consecutive precision hits load a single powerful sniper shot into the Magazine." Sort of like a love child of Dead Man's Tale, Izanagi's Burden, and Quicksilver Storm.
I LOVE Boolean Gemini! The exotic perks could definitely use some changes, but the identity of the gun is what made it great. Its TTK rivals Jade Rabbit's, and it also has a faster rate of fire than Jade Rabbit. Gaining reduced flinch while increasing flinch for opponents made duels easily winnable. If Boolean Gemini was brought back, I might actually take Trials of Osiris seriously
I would anly disagree with super good advice. I used it as a mob clear (which is what i think ot was intended for) and more often than not i would burn through my reserves than have to reload. I think it would need some tweeks, but i loved the aesthetic of the weapon and the lore behind it.
We need a void exotic machine gun, the idea of choosing it's element before activities like how suros and queen breaker can change one of their perks .
I would love to see the Khvostov come back. It felt so great to fire and be able to swap it's firing modes. I think it would need just a little nudge to make it more viable, but even still, I'd run it just for it being it. It sounded great, handled great, looked great. Fabian Strategy was absolute dog water when it released, then I feel like it got a shadow buff because it was performing better towards the end of D1 life. I agree that it's perk still isn't a wow factor, but I think if they upped the ammo (like adding the game's first AR drum mag), that it could be great for RAF clearing. Maybe even make it that bullet damage from the front was reduced a little to make the baby shields actually do something lol. I also really love your idea to combine the two snipers (P&T, and whatever the second one was lol), but I think just leaving off refunding the mag would be enough. Otherwise, when combined, it's getting 5 perks, and it's already needing 4 to be viable and increase P&Ts fun factor. But I miss it. People really didn't expect a Titan to run it in PVP and I was a menace lol. Aside from those three, I wouldn't mind the solar or void Lord coming back, but I get what you're saying. However, that was the mood when they released them back in D1 as well. It just felt weird that they were just releasing the same gun again and just doing different elements basically. Past that, I'd like to see Necrochasm come back. Those would be my six choices.
universal remote might be my favorite looking gun of all time, and i think it could be reworked to be usable; juste make it a shotgun with a parralel spread and a very long range that can function in medium-range gunfights, to use that cool scope
HEAR ME OUT ON THIS ONE! Red death can return. But make a Glaive. Have the end of the gun half broekn and keep the bayonet. so It will be a glaive with its perk and from lore point of view, it can be that Crimson was formed of the other half of the gun (after a Vangaurd official dismantled it since the gun is illegal.)
Well, since Crimson is a hand cannon, it has less range and stability than a Pulse Rifle even though it's still a three burst gun, so literally just bring back Read Death and have the tradeoff be "Do you want an instant reload on a precision kill, or more range and stability (and also the gun not to look fucking stupid)?" I know which one I'll pick.
Obviously you aren’t a Titan main because Fabian Strategy was awesome. If brought to D2 it would have, Subsistence, Rampage, unrelenting, and the ability to counter shot guns in one gun. So for most encounters you could have this weapon and gun down hordes of enemies then switch to a more single target gun like a fusion. Exotic heavies outshined this gun, but it was always an unseen gem that snobs never gave another chance
There are many things I would give up for some of these exotics to be in D2. But if they are not meant to be, then i would settle for their designs to be ornaments on current D2 guns. Having an Invective skin on a shotgun would make me pay so much money
Dragon's Breath was by far my favorite exotic after the rework. I think it'd be fine coming into the game the way it is, considering we have Deathbringer and breech loading made launchers. I'd love for it to have a similar damage output but realistically, it'd have to do less damage while Starfire warlock nade spam is still in the game. If they didn't have that to worry about, just applying scorch to enemies inside would be really good-- no need for incandescent because that would just be a 1-off spread of scorch rather than a passive stacking damage that causes ignite. Way higher damage potential.
9:25 What they could do with first curse, keep the stats how they are, but give it triple tap, and maybe opening shot, kill clip, maybe even outlaw. Edit: The Catalyst could make the reload a bit faster, and your headshot kills activate firefly, or smth like that. Maybe a boost in movement speed, kinda like mida multi tools passive.
If the kovostoc came back I could see it have the breakneck exclusive perk onslaught to emulate the selective rpm other than that I don't know what they would do
I would like to see invective. Instead of it generating ammo on its own which would break pvo in current state...they should give it best range in class for a lightweight. And an exotic perk that works like clown cartridge or something similar.
I want to see Ice Breaker back and reworked. It's a very unique design and had an awesome sound, I'd call it an iconic Destiny weapon that's been missing for too long. Doing away with regenerative ammo and having a venting reload animation would be really cool, and of course giving it something else in place of the ammo regeneration.
If they brought back Khvostov, what if you could hold reload to switch fire mode, and each fire mode actually counted for champion mods? I could definitely see that being broken, but it would also be pretty cool.
The trio of swords could be brought back if reworked or specialized; like making the solar sword have a wave attack, and have the hardest hitting power of any other sword, while having an extensive charge time; the void could be used repeatedly, and stun targets; and the arc be way quicker in its attack, and be used in-air: similar to Black Talon, but mildly slower, harder hitting per attack, and still discus shaped…
I’ve thought about ways to bring ice breaker back… just wondering what others think. My idea brings back the feel of the old gun, but with a D2 feel. Let me know what you think! Destiny 2 Icebreaker Rework Weapon still has a 6 round magazine and can’t have reserve rounds, but ammo bricks still drop. Picking up ammo instantly reloads this weapon. Intrinsic Perk: Conversation Starter Fires a high-powered beam that over-penetrates targets. Enemies that are hit after the first take 2x damage. Exotic Perk: Precise Preservation Killing an enemy with precision damage refunds one round to the magazine. (This can only happen once per shot) Exotic Catalyst: Gives the weapon maximum range and kills with the weapon now cause ignitions. Increases magazine size to 10.
I wish Patience and Time and Hereafter would make the Dragon Ball fusion and return as one: an all purpose sniper with radar, crouch and you go invis with 50-55 zoom, stand up and your zoom goes to 35 with moving with it being the only sniper with the lightweight aspect (but 72 RPM like an ag sniper), being a special with that arc arc aspect you already blinding for killing people with it like patience and time. Catalyst gives it higher stability.
Patience and Time + The Hereafter should be called Time After Time. I'm 'bout it. Also, combining Nemesis Star and Abbadon would be a good option. Plus it gives a unique model. An option for Nova Mortis is making it a Divinity alternative and lean into a dubuff.
I still remember the day I got the NLB It was during the first nightfall when The Dark Below came out. I remember being one of the very few using it regularly for years before it got popular in pvp due to ammo changes. That they did towards the end of the game's life. By far my favorite exotic to run.
I feel lik the here after should keep its zoom on crouch function BUT it should have a more functional change like when crouching it hits harder and fires slower can the explosion jolts but you cant move while crouching When not crouching you have faster straif speed the gun fires faster does less dmg and the explosion blinds targets What do you guys think?
Tbh I don’t think there’s any good reason for most of these exotics not coming back except for the broken ammo economy ones like icebreaker. Bungie can and has pretty much completely reworked exotic perks to make them relevant so I see no reason why some of the more underwhelming exotics can’t get a glow up to make them work in the d2 sandbox.

I want No Land Beyond more than anything. Risk Runner may be a better upgrade, but Zhalo just feels and sounds more satisfying to use. Looks infinitely better too, especially with the skins. I’d be happy if it stayed in D1 as good memories
Small Arms + Burn = Fun Exotic time
Specialist + Burn = Which Ex Machina am I taking?
Heavyweight didn’t exist in D1, so I cry at no OP strike sword 😭
zhalo is better than risk runner, you don´t need to be damaged to use the exotic perk I would love to see it back
I agree, except it definitely does not look better than riskrunner 😂 it looks like a gun a child soldier in the congo would use
Out of all the exotic weapons in D1 that had not made the jump to D2, the one and only I truly miss is No Land Beyond.
We need to kill Devrim for it. NLB spoke to me in a fever dream and it wants freedom
Speaking facts
The only issue is that if it came back it would have to be using secondary ammo or headshots wouldn’t one-shot
@@zero_karma0496 I’d be fine with special ammo and a damage drop off making headshots one shot at a shorter range than normal. I just want to use the gun again
I feel like it would be balance if you could get 2 shots per special brick to make up for the slow fire rate
Me hearing your idea for Novartis realising that this is exactly what the new void exotic LMG will be. Fantastic
Was going to say the same. Has quickly become one of my favorite heavies
The exotic Khvostov could come back as an exotic you have to craft at the relic, and you could add intrinsic champion rounds depending on which mode it was in. You could even make it so it could be either Kinetic, Stasis, the new strand and whatever other damage type comes with the final shape.
Yeah I was thinking a catalyst with a good damage perk or something would be good enough even... Lots of things could be done with it
The flavour text suggests that it's charged with light or something tho
I had an idea for icebreaker returning:
What if they renamed it Ice-Maker, make it a stasis weapon, it’s perk being it regenerates a shot after defeating frozen or slowed targets, and give it chill clip for when it’s mag is full. With stasis how it is in PvP I don’t think it would be too strong.
And they should give queenbreaker a rework and just give it hereafters perks instead of it’s current state.
Honestly not a bad concept!
Then it wouldn’t be a returning exotic???
Yeah more weapons that interact with stasis
I'd love to see it be a pinical solar legendary. Think Sturm and drang, but last word, first curse, gunslinger with lucky pants.
First curse was my go to just because the gun felt smooth. I miss it just because it looked sick and sounded incredible
First curse lucky pants
@@Lamp37820 😞
@@Lamp37820 I thought it was because it was like Vex Mythoclast but a shotgun so completely shagged anything that moved.
The hot head not
I don't think Dragons breath would work. Look what they did to sunbracers lol
To me I wish dragon breath was a guided napam rocket launcher.
• If you hip fire the rocket would just go straight
• if you aim the rocket is yours to control on where it goes [ note : it does have a limited time until detonates, probably 10sec ]
Necrochasm should of been tied into kings fall too
@@Jihadbearzwithgunz if we can have fighting lion, we can dream of someday having no land beyond :(( even if it does less damage I wouldn’t care, I miss using that gun.
Where as Riskrunner is more defensive with the damage reduction, Zhalo would be a more aggressive weapon with the constant jolt spread.
i think it would just outshined too much to ever exist again In the game
Don't forget zhalo had the bad juju effect too that's mainly why I want it back for getting fast supers
Everyone forgets that Zhalo also granted super energy on multikills, so it could still have a place among the other arc exotics
I miss that gun but is balanced
I freakin loved it. Was my go-to pvp weapon for Warlock, especially when you were running self-res and therefore never using your super.
Did Bungie watch this video because Nova Mortis is basically now Deterministic Chaos.
Id like to see Young Wolf's Howl updated to be the first exotic weapon to have all three types of champion stun mods.
@@Brandon0159 Yeah, So root of nightmares and Wrath of the machine. I doubt Crotas coming back
@@ThyBigCheddar yeah, they also said that vaulted raids with their exotic already in the game would see a new exotic made for it.
I think s22 will have wrath and s26 levi
I would love for either NLB or Universal Remote to be brought back, though they would be very hard to balance
I would love to see the first curse return but be an infinite firing weapon so long as you hit precision hits, I loved that hand cannon in D1 and while it's very unlikely we will ever see it again, I still think it would be good if they brought it back maybe as a pinnacle/pursuit weapon
So, you mean replenishes ammo “from reserves,” but the reserves are endless so it doesn’t matter.
@@KRYMauL I guess but more like from thin air
@@YahhSirio I mean that’s basically what “from reserves” means on a primary at this point.
I'd like to see first curse come back. We have far to many 140 exotic HCs. A new 120 would be nice
I would love to see pocket infinity return. I remember when it was broken and you could melt atheon with it.
pushing him of the edge was still better
Bungie doesn't like fun anymore so they wouldn't bring it back lol
Nova Mortis should just apply volatile rounds every other shot and the catalyst should grant you small chunks of void over-shield ever time you kill a volatile enemy
Abbadon should apply 5 scorch stacks for every bullet and the catalyst should make the ignitions explode twice
This way they aren’t niche options if they return to D2. Nova Mortis is used for ad clear, Abaddon is used for boss damage, and Thunderlord is in the middle good for boss damage and ad clear.
Fast forward to now, we have a Void LMG that does exactly what should have rightfully gone to Nova Mortis
Sad to see Nova Mortis and Abbadon die because Bungie is just going to rework them into new weapons
I love the look of Necrochasm, Hereafter was what I used to kill oryx the first time underleveled as fuck, Red Death was my counter to the thorn meta, you could kill them before the poison got you and you would heal desperate to have them back
So that void lmg suggestion basically got into the game with light fall, the strider exotic lmg is basically what you wanted
I would love to see young wolves howl come back with the heavy attack being like a wave frame hit and having incandescent.
I want to see something cool happen with it. It deserves it!
I meanwhile see a perfect way to alter Tlaloc.
Here's how it'd be laid out
Exotic Trait: Overflowing Light - This Weapon Gains a Higher Rate of Fire after the Weilder's Super is fully charged, effect persists for 5 seconds after Super is cast, or Paracausal Fire is activated.
Barrel: Likely something to control the Recoil, Arrowhead?
Colum 3 Perk: Surplus (Play into the ability game of the weapon)
Coulm 4 Perk(s): Choice between Demolitionist, Pugilist, and Tresh(?) (or a new perk that is the class-ability equivalent to Demo/Pug)
Pretty much Tlaloc in D2 should be *the* premier ability-focused weapon, you gain power by holding your abilities in on the weapon , (Super = RoF, Abilities = Stats), and when you do use one, it becomes very fast to get that ability back.
This guy basically predicted deterministic chaos
light fall was scrapped together they probably just stole the idea lol
They can give the solar machine gun scorch and the void machine gun suppressing rounds.. like doing 25% of the magazine as precision damage scorches the target and 25% suppresses it
Croats end would be an excellent Dungeon for D2, and the exotic can stay a auto, at that 900rpm, to make it unique to the weapon class
with the release of Lightfall, your idea for Novamortis has pretty much been implemented in the form of Deterministic Chaos
In my opinion, the shitty thing about all of these exotics is their perks are basically normal perks in the game on legendary weapons now.
Nemesis Star was my fave exotic for PvP since it would melt players with its fast rate burst. Could get 3 or 4 kills before it ran out of ammo.
I didn't even know that some of these exotics existed, such as the first curse and the other elemental versions of thunderlord
The young wolfs howl would have to play with scorch and ignite somehow, since weakening/debuffing is a void trait now.
Maybe the heavy attack could ignite a target and scorch nearby enemies.
Imagine if it was reworked to be able to change elements like hard light. With the heavy attack having a different effect based on element.
After getting 9 Patience and Times’s in a ROW in d1 while trying to get icebreaker, if it ever gets brought back I’m deleting every single one I get
The first curse was my curse, because I grinded a ton for it and decided to stick with it for a while, to justify my farm and...
I always enjoy your look back and break down of the D1 years. Very nostalgic for a lot of people and show how in many ways D1 was superior to D2.
I can’t lie I’d love to see Pocket Infinity & Invective back. Solely based on me enjoying the hell out of them aha
Honestly I'd want that first Sniper, the Void and Solar Thunderlords, Young Wolves Howl, the Titan exclusive auto rifle. Khovostov for nostalgia and the Dreg sidearm and the exotic swords
I want Khvostov to come back I like the idea of switching between auto to scout to pulse.
I loved dreg's promise and it was a bullet to the heart when Lord of Wolves AND Queenbreaker's both dropped at the same time without it
RIGHT?! I always see hate for that weapon but Dregs was one of my favorite pvp weapons. I never got good at sniping type weapons, so Queens was outside my wheelhouse, but Lord of Wolves and Drega Promise were my favorites.
Somehow, I completely forgot about Necrochasm, but I feel like it's very similar to Osteo Striga.
Thank you dude! It was time for a change!
I don’t appreciate that Ice Breaker hate.
If Abbadon and Nova Mortis were combined with Thunderlord it would be especially OP because they just put overload built into Thunderlord.
I low key mained dragons breath in d1 it was so fun to use
Also patience and time was fuun in pvp and with arcstrider all the invis
Some other weapons I loved to use were plan c and no land beyond
Also someone said a craft able kohvostov, that’d be super fun
How dare you even think of massacring my that beautiful sniper
And we got revision zero 😌
@@Raeboe I called it
I LOVE Boolean Gemini!
Super Good Advice was highly slept on and before we had Subsistence, it was super unique and fun as hell.
We need a void exotic machine gun, the idea of choosing it's element before activities like how suros and queen breaker can change one of their perks .
Dragons breath has to come back, it was easily my favorite exotic in d1
well, they sorta added that void machine gun, with deterministic chaos. now we just need that solar one
Sadly would not be first AR drum mag as reckless oracle ( GOS ) has one, which without others before would make it the first
Basically predicted Deterministic Chaos with the description of nova mortis
For real
The catalyst for dragons breath could add more reload speed and add incandescent
universal remote might be my favorite looking gun of all time, and i think it could be reworked to be usable; juste make it a shotgun with a parralel spread and a very long range that can function in medium-range gunfights, to use that cool scope
That's like asking for a hammer, then getting a wrench that has "hammer" written on it.
@@DrakoWulf no. jsut a melee glaive for sustained bloodbath.
@@DrakoWulf Or like a pulse rifle and getting a hand cannon
Well, since Crimson is a hand cannon, it has less range and stability than a Pulse Rifle even though it's still a three burst gun, so literally just bring back Read Death and have the tradeoff be "Do you want an instant reload on a precision kill, or more range and stability (and also the gun not to look fucking stupid)?" I know which one I'll pick.
@@ThyBigCheddar | Despite what Bungie's best attempts, we will never forget Red Death and Zhalo Supercell!
Dregs Promise was put into trespasser in D2. D1 Trespasser didn’t have ricochet rounds.
This aged well
Dragon's Breath was by far my favorite exotic after the rework.
At least he got crotas end right
lol your nova mortis concept, and now we have deterministic chaos, which is very similar to what you describe
For some reason I thought Ice Breaker would of come back along with Arc 3.0
it could come back, but the amo regin only happens when you have pve enemys near you, not players.
@@Honed- it won't come back at all with the ammo regen tbh

What they could do with first curse, keep the stats how they are, but give it triple tap, and maybe opening shot, kill clip, maybe even outlaw.
Edit: The Catalyst could make the reload a bit faster, and your headshot kills activate firefly, or smth like that. Maybe a boost in movement speed, kinda like mida multi tools passive.
An ornament for riskrunner that resembles zhalo would be sick and I would buy it ten times over
I’ve never seen the perk on Zen Meteor before, really cool reference to Queen. I didn’t even really care about the weapon, but now I kinda want it lol
it was an awesome perk name and the potential for this weapon was very high!
If the kovostoc came back I could see it have the breakneck exclusive perk onslaught to emulate the selective rpm other than that I don't know what they would do
Hey I noticed you changed your channel picture. Looks good!
Thanks!
I would like to see invective. Instead of it generating ammo on its own which would break pvo in current state...they should give it best range in class for a lightweight. And an exotic perk that works like clown cartridge or something similar.
I think Nechrochasm should become a sunshot/skyburners oath hybrid doing extra damage to hive as well as explosions.
Unironically agree. I don’t care if it’s basically a new weapon, I just miss the look and sound of Icebreaker so much lol
I can’t believe this man predicted. Deterministic chaos
Destiny 2 Icebreaker Rework
Weapon still has a 6 round magazine and can’t have reserve rounds, but ammo bricks still drop. Picking up ammo instantly reloads this weapon.
Intrinsic Perk: Conversation Starter
Fires a high-powered beam that over-penetrates targets. Enemies that are hit after the first take 2x damage.
Exotic Perk: Precise Preservation
Killing an enemy with precision damage refunds one round to the magazine. (This can only happen once per shot)
Exotic Catalyst: Gives the weapon maximum range and kills with the weapon now cause ignitions.
Intrinsic volatile on Nova Mortis would instantly make it an insanely good pick, especially on Titans with Controlled Demolition.
I would like to dub the first two weapons mentioned “The Patience Hereafter”
I still remember the day I got the NLB It was during the first nightfall when The Dark Below came out. I remember being one of the very few using it regularly for years before it got popular in pvp due to ammo changes. That they did towards the end of the game's life. By far my favorite exotic to run.
I have never forgot No Land Beyond. I would love to se it come back.
I feel lik the here after should keep its zoom on crouch function BUT it should have a more functional change like when crouching it hits harder and fires slower can the explosion jolts but you cant move while crouching
When not crouching you have faster straif speed the gun fires faster does less dmg and the explosion blinds targets
What do you guys think?
Tbh I don’t think there’s any good reason for most of these exotics not coming back except for the broken ammo economy ones like icebreaker. Bungie can and has pretty much completely reworked exotic perks to make them relevant so I see no reason why some of the more underwhelming exotics can’t get a glow up to make them work in the d2 sandbox.
