Jenny is 2 years older than Jamie, so she would've been around 20-21 when Roger came to Lallybroch (Jamie was 18-19 & in Paris). They AI'd Kristin to appear younger & I think they might have done the same with the character of Brian Fraser. But I don't think they did enough because he looks older in 1739 than he did in 1742-1743. Roger met Geilis & Dougal with Buck. Geilis didn't remember Roger because she was concentrating on Bree in 1968, so his appearance in 1968 & in 1739 didn't really register with her. I love Jenny! And Kristin is really good as Jenny! She is playing an older woman whose losing her husband & is not only a mother, but also a grandmother. She's more grounded than when Laura Donnelly played her in Jenny's younger years. Loved the interaction between Young Iain & his parents & siblings. It was really well done & provided all the feels! Nell was fabulous as Laoghaire & I also loved Layla who played Joanie. Laoghaire really had a good point concerning how Jamie felt about & treated her. Laoghaire really hoped that she could help Jamie & really was thinking that she could change him. Never mind about audio sync. I have, for me-myself, do not have audio or video. Will not be able to join in you broadcast. I'm also very slow at typing. Loved Episode 709. Got started on 'Outlander' when my interest was piqued by ads I saw on other channels(2014). Then I found it was based off/on books!!! Got them on Kindle. Been there/here ever since. TBPO, I thought the writing was a little flat. But the story, as far as staying with the line/books, did just fine. The make-up department could have done a better job making 'Ian' look more Ill. Keep up the great work. ❤
