Hey dude..love this series. I had just moved to Washington and found this series. That was 7 years ago. Been a huge fan of all your lectures and videos. You do a great service to the community sir.
Another great educational video! Loving the series! Would of loved to have his class during college. Would love to know who had a huge influence in your past that stirred the fire and passion for geology! Enjoy the ride guys, Nick is one of the best!
Born here in this beautiful Washington state. Absolutely love learning about our geology around here. And Nick is such a great educator, very well spoken and understandable. I was just a small kid when St. Helens erupted, my mom still has ash in a jar from it. Thanks Nick for the lessons 💯
I came from the deserts of Phoenix AZ where it's just flat land and the grid system is very simple to navigate as well as cruise on...Coming to live in Pacifica with my brothers for a few months and it was such a frustrating time for me navigating through Seattle and surrounding areas, really felt like nature was equally frustrated here and fought back at every corner when they were mapping/laying out all their road systems here haha... other than that it's a gorgeous place you could never run out of things to do, miss it a lot more than I could describe at times. So appreciate you and your passion for this little corner of the world!
Volcanics to the east and south with sinks between the two Rims.Creton 50 miles away..Sedimentary rock rims 7 miles apart of marked geologic time differences…
The San Gabriels are being ground down…between the Sierra and Coastal ranges running east to west ..between the north south fault lines .. Is it connected .. to the theory of exotic terraines being in Washington?
Nick, you are a community treasure. I look forward to Baja BC.
My favorite paleo volcanologist

Carns talk maps the area between the Mogollon Rim and Nagelen Rim (Christopher Creek Road) .between Payson on hwy 260..
When I finish all of Dr. Vintner’s videos will he send me the final? I figure I should get at least a credit hour for this.
Arizona,Mogollon Rim,Nagellen Rim(older than Mogollon Rim,Payson fossils 300 Road..Washington Park Camp Ground..Geode trail above forest service road..
Highline Road,Military Sink,..bottom of the sink is Nagellen Rim below Mogollon Rim…
The two Rims Rocks can be dated ..the fossils(large snail).. date the period.. where they fall out of sedimentary rock between the Rims..
