- After two months it’s time to rethink if we purchased correctly? The SEAT Mii EV looked real good value and fitted our needs… BUT HAS IT?

I bought a SEAT Mii FR new in 2017, there was a 2k discount so I used that to have electric seats, panaramic sunroof, auto headlights wipers, rear parking sensors upgraded stereo, rear boot shelf cruise control and computer. Loved the car.
Developed an issue just out of warranty and as its the complex 1.0 ltr 3 cylinder engine they were able to confirm it was faulty but unable to diagnose although they had a few suggestions which had a 1500 pound price tag. After having some work done we were still no further in finding the problem, mainly because the diagnostic computer said no, and therefor the mechanics stared at me like a dog that's been shown a card trick.
Eventually I sold it back to them for 4k after 4 years and I'd just finished paying for it. It's no longer on the DVLA system so I reckon it got written off some time end of last year. Shame as it was fully loaded and very much a one off. I still love the Mii, but the Northampton dealership and Milton Keynes dealership we useless. I've thought about the Mii Electric but even at 10k can't chance it having any issues as once out of warranty your dicing with lady luck.
As for the petrol model 4k I got for mine would have difficulty buying a basic 14 plate model now with lots of buttons with blanking plates.
Hi, the E-up can have the Rear View Camera (the Mii and citigo just can't have the OEM because the rear bumper is different and the radio seems to be different too internally). The E-up and the citigo can have the Multi Function Steering Wheel and the Mii can't.
I don't see any other relevant difference.
We live south of chesterfield my wife leases her E-up. She loves it . If you want to do a comparison with the Mii then I'm sure we could arrange something.
I have seen the problem with the citigo/e up is AC type 2 charging at home single phase is only 3.6kw or 2.3 kw on three pin. The 22kw public charges will only do 7kw and the DC 150kw ccs can be 11kw afyer 80% so the charging is slower than expected.
Yes.. all cars are max 2.3 on 240v 3 pin.
It’s not a huge battery so to charge overnight at home will fully charge it anyway.
It can be sorted check other channels out.

Hiya.. The wiring kit came with the screen and was 10 metres long.. more than enough. You can buy them separately on eBay if you need to. I drilled one small hole just to the side of the number plate and threaded it thru the boot/ trunk floor , down the side ( under the plastics) to the front then up passed the steering wheel to Screen. It’s a simple power from the rear light cluster ( reversing wire). The display is fine but we have found that most times the rear camera when put into reverse takes a while to display. You can however touch the screen and place it in reverse camera mode if you wish.
It’s good for CarPlay or Android auto and the sound plays thru the car speakers using an Aux cable. Hope that helps.

I think I’d be a little worried about how the forward visibility would be obstructed by such a large screen particularly if the driver is a bit on the short side.
The seat is good at coming up high for a clear view. 👍🏻
Did you fix your heated seat switch failure under warranty? I have the same problem, it was intermittent now doesn’t work. Thanks.
It goes in two weeks today under warranty. It comes on for a second then won’t turn on or light up again.
