- The weeds are winning the war, at least they were before I got this new weapon. A regular weed trimmer just cannot keep up with the amount of growth I have. Thestring based trimmers are destructive, constantly need cleaning and line replacement, plus the damage to my legs from flying debris makes it so I just don't want to bother. Rotary scissors change all that, they cut fast and cleanly through even the toughest weeds. This a a versatile tool that can do many things with little to no damage to surrounding plants and structures.

Couldn't you have just rotated the tube at the scissors before you tightened the hex bolts?
add the grease or oil before you use it..

Would you say the rotary scissors was worth the purchase? I am thinking about getting one too
Use that blade for grass and weeds…There is a blade available for the Rotary Scissor that is more specific for edging. It’s a little bigger so it adds just a little more weight.
what grease do you recommend?
Ducks eat all the weeds in my food forest. The tool you show reminds me of the disston trimmer my mom had in the 1970's.
We had ducks for a while but too many predators, bobcats got them.
Hi Carl, are you still using/liking the mosquito magnet? I saw it once in one of your previous videos.
It's on loan to another family member right now. It still works great, I just don't run it all the time unless we are having a get together at the house or if the mosquitoes are really bad. This year was actually pretty mild.
My EGO was not this dramatic. No holes to drill.
I get it, just replaced my Echo tools with Ego and same results. Much easier.
