A real treasure trove of tips and tricks that we'll have to think of at the right time to improve our images. Perfect Olivio, happiness again on my screen this morning. Thanks to you.
Its a great way to save 'presets' on Affinity Photo as its a tool they havent introduced yet. I think your onto something here and would like to see more of these types of videos on 'presets'. Maybe some other variations of dark & moody, Warm, Norway, Sweden, Pinkish, Dusk, Autumn...
Amazing thank you! I was literally going to look for moody edits to use for most of my photos yesterday and then you upload this exact video that I needed help with! Much appreciated!
If you use the Infer LUT tool you can add the original and edited photo so Affinity can create the LUT for you. ua-cam.com/video/gjgbyMse928/v-deo.html
hi thanks!!! how can I save this preset for apply to other photos? I have tried to place another foto and it is ok but my was vertical and the other was horizontal...I have problems
Yeah you could do that with an master file, but also as an macro, a LUT (if you don´t need to change the settings afterward), an asset,.... So many ways in doing things^^
Hi Olivio, terrific video! Can you please do a video on colouring green leaves to cyan blue? There are many videos available for Photoshop but none for Affinity..
Olivio, can you explain what "preserve alpha" does in the blur layer? I'm just not too sure what the purpose is. Thanks in advance, bro! Dig your videos!
It will prevent edges from blending. Try importing a photo and scaling it down so you can see the edges of the photo, then apply Gaussian blur. If the check box is off, then everything should be blurry, including the edges of the photo. If it's on, then the photo will be blurry, but you will still have sharp edges around it. I don't know if the explanation is clear, it's probably easier to just try for yourself
Fantastic video as always! I'm curious though, it not be easier to record all of these steps as a macro that can be applied to images rather than holding onto the affinity photo file? Or am I being dumb? Haha
Olivio Sarikas oh good! I'm new to using macros so I'm glad I can recognise opportunities to create them. Thank you once again for your creative and easy to follow guides
I enjoy this video, but he did not explain why he change the color red to orange, he also didn't show the after and before of the photo (we as the viewers had to go back to the beggining of the video to see the difference).
@@OlivioSarikas I volunteer for proof reader. If I can follow it that should be good enough as I am completely new to Affinity and only soso on photoshop.
Short - well explained - helpful - great video. Thank you very much Olivio. Soo happy i found your channel!! (btw, your last name sounds Greek...any connection?)

Hi Olivio,
I really love it. Wouldn't it be possible to save these adjustments as a LUT ?

Absoluter Ehrenmann
This was super helpful! One question though, aren't you able to create a preset from this and that would easily apply the color changes?
Excellents tips ! Thank you very much
You're very welcome :)
Hi! Do you have a tutorial on how to make this kind of a master file that you mention in the video?

Interesting idea. Yes, that could work too

Please, can you tell me which is the name of the tutorial where you use the donut tool to make a frog brighter? I can´t find again. Thank you.
could you also save those adjustments as a macro to apply to other pictures later?
I guess you could. Good idea
If someone would write up the steps in a PDF would somebody pay a little bit for it? I think I would while I am still learning.
Interesting Idea. I'm not great at writing tutorials, but i will think about it. :)
