All these years of watching your channel and I have to say between Marco and Regina you have to be the best fed overlander on UA-cam. Fruit or not that sandwich looked delicious : )
If you ever come back up through Idaho again, I live in the outskirts of Boise. You and your family always have a home to stay in if you need it, Brother. Can't wait for the wife and I to start our journeys in the outdoors Idaho is a goldmine of natural beauty and recreation. Semper Gumby indeed!
This is one of the best videos I have watched in a long time. No big expo, No one trying to sale all the new jeep stuff, No crowds of people, Just out in the wilderness having fun. Thanks for this video from someone stuck at home.
Semper Gumby has been one of my sayings since Kadena AB (11-14). There are so many in my career field (Security Forces) who have never heard this saying or have not heard it in many years. Thank you for keeping it alive! Love your channel and appreciate all you do. I cannot wait to get back into another Wrangler and hopefully start similar adventures.
This is the second video I've seen with your wife Regina. It looks like you two really enjoy each other's company. That's great to see. Don't take those moments for granted.
I’m a chef, and fruits and nuts absolutely go in whatever you want them in. Especially Chicken salad! It’s the foundation of culinary arts…freedom of creativity!
Simple Kayak paddling tip: put the heavier stronger person in the back for optimal steering control. Thanks for all the great content! You two are great.
Completely loved this video. I'm sure it took some editing as usual but the whole video felt so "real" and we love seeing your personalities and the way you two compliment each other perfectly! Thanks for showing us a real and down to earth couple!
Your trips together with Regina have given me more insight into why women have a slightly different approach to longer expeditions in the Jeep. My wife says she appreciates it! Thanks! 💑
Idaho here: of course things didn't turn out as expected, you're in Idaho. Have done the Magruder several times. Love that trip. Our challenge here is that by the time snow melts, fires starts.
This was such a casual light hearted and fun episode to watch Brad. We all love your usual style but this one was quite off the cuff and really great. Well done.
U-In-Ta. Glad you guys are enjoying my home state on your way through!!! While I love my Tacoma your 392 and matching trailer get me every time! Can’t get enough of such a great looking rig! The video was fantastic as always and look forward to the next one!! So many great camp recipes as always!
I've been watching for quite awhile now, and I have to say that this is one of my favorite videos that you've made. The joy you both had was clearly evident. Thanks.
Hey Brad. Just got back from a 10 day camping trip with the boyscouts to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. It was amazing. It was mid 80s during the day and 50s 60s at night ..perfect for tent sleeping. We were camped right on the Snake River in Wyomming and that river was the best white noise machine ever..I slept like a baby!! Love the vids brother thanks for sharing. I'm in Jersey so I'm gonna try and get down to OLEE in Oct so maybe I'll see you there. 👍
Just finished the most incredible adventure of my life Dallas to Tuktoyaktuk in the Northwest Territories, over to Alaska and home. Went through Idaho west of the Tetons up to Glacier NP on the way up and explored the eastern edge of the Rockies in Montana on the way home. 40 days with only a couple very dispersed hotels and some shower purchases. What a beautiful world we live in full of incredible camping opportunities.
Regena being more of a part of your videos is a good thing. She has a lovely smile and laugh. However, no nuts and cranberries !! Haha. Another great video. Thank you for sharing !!
Fantastic Video guys! Kathy and I must have just missed you. We just returned from a 4500 mile journey through Utah, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. We completed most of the Idaho BDR from north to south. Epic landscapes everywhere! Broke a steering stabilizer, which provided a “fun” challenge but it was all part of the adventure. Thanks for inspiring so many to get out and explore!!
Man what a video, the shots and sounds you have captured just makes me want to pack up and head north. Oh and yes keep the dang fruits and nuts out of my sandwich 😆. Wishing you guys safe travels.
Michael, the best time to explore Idaho is now, the upper passes are mostly clear of snow and the views are breathtaking. We just camped at 8,000 feet near Trinity Lakes ID and loved it. Literally thousands of dispersed camping sights all with fantastic views and easy to extreme routes to get to heaven. Lots of super friendly folk here to help out and join you if you'd like... 🙂

You have one amazing trail partner Brad. Always a little let down when our primary plans can't happen but anytime out with family and or friends exploring amazing areas is still a win. As far as the cranberries and nuts go, I will agree with the nuts but not the cranberries. I am not a fan of nuts in food especially when they are mainly for a texture purpose. Having raisin or cranberries for a sweet additive I'm always for.
Great video!!! I am glad you enjoy this great state. I hope when you headed home you went south from Teton Village, through Alpine and back into Southeast Idaho. There are some amazing trails here and natural hot springs to soak in, if you know where to look.

Substitute grapes for cranberries and pecans for cashews...LOVE curry chicken salad (wife calls it Cha-Cha- Chicken Salad). And don't forget the Dukes! Scoop with wheat thins.
Cha-cha chicken! Love it!
Come visit the Los Padres. Not alot of off-road. But Los Padres National Forest is nice.
I totally agree on the no fruits in your main meal. At best it can be eaten for desert but even then i prefer chocolate!
Well, I'm not going to argue with you about chocolate because, well...chocolate! But you, like my husband, are just plain old wrong about fruits in the main meal. Sweet and savory...so good! 😄
I'm a big fan in general, but this is the best video you've ever made. Your marriage was really the star of the show. Over the years, I've loved watching Regina learn to love our sport. (And please help -- does she spell it with an "i" or an "e," I keep seeing both . . .) My partner Michelle (foolishly) agrees with you, Brad, about fruit mixed in with a meal, but I side with Regina, who is obviously the smarter of the two of you. :) Thanks for all the fun and inspiration! Maybe we'll run into you here in the Anza-Borrego one of these days.
This is the sweetest comment! Thank you so much, especially for agreeing with me about the fruit and nuts! 😊
@@regenakowitz so you are an "e" Regena! ( as well as a culinary genius . . .) :)
Yep! Named after my dad, Gene…two e’s. And, I don’t know about “culinary genius” but I appreciate you saying so.
I gotta say this has been my absolute favorite channel …every trip is an adventure! I have watched y’all over the years and this never gets old, always fantastic content. Keep going !!
Thank you!
She has an amazing personality great chemistry. Love the video.
Awwwww...thank you so much! 😊
As a fellow corpsman. You adapt and over came. We do it all the time. And fruit and nuts do belong in salads
Thank you for your service! Being a corpsman seems to be a family thing for us...best rating in the Navy!
Mrs. Regina, any time he says no cranberries or cashews, just say "Good, More for ME!!". ;-)
I like your attitude! 😁
Grew up near your ashton camp site. beautiful country. Magruder is on my bucket list. Great video.
What a happy fun couple. Nice to see positive minded people having fun and adventures in the great American outdoors. Do you think you might upgrade to a bigger camper like Conqueror or global expedition type vehicles?
The cranberries and nuts are a nice ingredient for your sandwich
Thank you! I think so too! 😊
Really enjoying this video from 🇨🇦!
Really enjoyed this episode. I was in MT for the month of July supporting small communities affected by flooding of the Yellowstone River and Rock Creek. I would love to come back with my wife for a vacation. I have a new found desire for an inflatible kayak now. We are avid Yakkers and Bikers.
Thank you! That part of the country is beautiful and I highly recommend an inflatable kayak!
