Im real skeptical of some of this stuff. The air blow up tents, well it loves to wind out here in the west, like really wind 30mph sustained is not abnormal. Suctions cups are cool, but kinda suck!! Not in a good way. If theres any dirt or dust or anything that gets in the way the performance is affected tremendously. The T Mat is a FANTASTIC idea. I really like that.

The suction cups are the solution I’ve been waiting for since I don’t really want to install racks for rotopax and traction boards on my daily. As far as the interlocking system towards the end of the video, I’d probably double up and place my propane tank in a milk crate, and then use the system to keep the crate from sliding around rather than the round bucket supports.
I’ve long thought about making a trailer shell from extrusion and foam composite panels maybe extrusion overland could help with that. I am painfully aware that the trailer shell on my current off-road trailer is not going to last forever. I’m doing repairs on a weekly basis.
Interesting air frame RTT, feels like a bunch of stuffing around though compared to other fold over hard shells, and particularly that there's sub 40kg options on the market here now. Great to see all the other space save options starting to get around 👍 Looks like an awesome show!
Saveaqua is to me the tiniest most useful item for everyone! For those of us mainstream who have not yet bought the Dometic or other fancy USB faucet/water dispensers. And we are SO weary dealing with those Walmart water container faucets that break and leak and don’t tighten to the right direction! 🤣 SAVEAQUA is our answer to solve so many water dispensing issues.
I have an ICECO also. Love it. Biggest reason I picked them is customer service and 5yr warranty on compressor. Did you say you dropped yours and they replaced it? No questions asked?
I might have to look into the Seasucker stuff, especially the Rotopax mount. Would be nice to use for extended trips where extra fuel might be needed, and it's temporary so don't need to have the fuel canisters on the car at all times.
FWIW, these aren’t “reviews”, these are recorded demos. A review would be after usage or at least make any attempt to explore potential weaknesses, like how to recover from a punctured airframe. This is just a video high five.
@stevemurray2737 places like costco do sell heavy duty carports that you do set up like a tent. They are big & bulky & heavy. It's probably not ideal for overlanding. I am interested in a tent such as you described too!

About that diesel heater..... Combustion intake is too long and has unnecessary bends. Bends on the exhaust could cause trouble. Exhaust should also be pointing down not up. Air output hose seems too long and all those bends could cause issues with the heater. Lots of heat will also be lost on the way to the tent.
Thanks so much for the Tour of the Expo. Can't wait for the review of the Colorado 4x4 diesel heater. I've watched enough UA-cam videos reviews of the Chinese diesel heaters to not purchase any of that garbage! Some UA-camrs say use kerosene instead of diesel. Any thoughts about that 🤔
Just went to seasucker to look. $59 for a suction cup. I can buy a 1/4 mount camera suction cup for 1/3 the price and do the same thing. Are people drinking anti-freeze these days?
