- In this video we look at the use of technology to design aircraft. A new technology called Generative Design makes use of Artificial Intelligence to create shapes that are radically different compared to human designed objects. Can this technology be used to create aircraft?

Check out the Solar Electric Car, Aptera. This was designed using AI and has one of the lowest coefficient of drag of 0.13 among the cars. Mostly uses Carbon Fibre body to reduce the air drag and rolling resistance.
This AI-engineered, optimized structural design is as the internal structure of animal bones created by nature and optimized to the extreme.

Did you know Boeing is holding a competition, I was in it but fell off early. I learned later on how they handle business. Did I dodge a bullet?
If boing builds it is even lighter - because half the screws and bolts are never put in. Also, due to extensive experience with rocket design, the aircraft will include staging and drop landing gear after takeoff, obviously to save weight ;) How could a company fall as far as - it's planes.
If passenger aircraft had no unneccessary windows it would save a huge amount in weight and costs both in building and in running. I would happily exchange a view of clouds for a reduced price ticket.
