This song is the perfect answer to the critics who have labeled them no longer acapella, too highly produced. They will never forget where they came from.
I saw them do this last weekend in Connecticut, no mics just their gorgeous voices, 10,000 people silently listening to this perfection. It was my favorite from the whole show ❤️
I saw them in Kentucky. Sitting in the front row, I thought I had died & gone to Heaven. And they put the extra verse in the concert version that for some ungodly reason they had to leave out in the Christmas Under the Stars broadcast. Most beautiful song ever. 💜
You could hear a pin drop in the audience when they performed this as an encore at their Evergreen concert in Baltimore. But if you liked this I would recommend their original "Run to You." No beatboxing. All vocals. Just lots of wonderful harmonies.
♥ Another wonderful reaction! When they go into 5-part harmony, it's stunning. For more like this, check out Run to You (an original), Dreams (a Cranberries cover), and Mad World (Tears for Fears cover).
A side note. I just read that PTX donated part of their profits from last nights show in Kentucky to the relief from the tornados. They didn’t say anything I read it in a paper. Nice ❤️. This is so beautiful. They close their eyes so they can listen to one another
This was originally recorded by the Rescues. They have loved this song for 10 years but hadn't recorded it till now. The original only had high voices and PTX added low voices to it. It inspired "Run to You", an original of PTXs. They sang this song on tour without mics in a circle around a light like this one with 10,000 people dead quiet. We heard them with no problem from the last row.
After Christmas, you should check out their original song "Run To You" it was written and styled because of their love for this song. Its pretty amazing and like this one its strictly them singing, no beatboxing, but it does have a stronger build up in it. I think you'd really like it.
you forgot the fact that "run to you" is an original written by Avi and Kevin....and the story behind the making of it which equally incredible....Merry Christmas to all and be blessed....
Before Christmas is over, you should definitely check out their video of Silent Night. It’s recorded live in an old stone cathedral, and it has a similar feel to this one.
I suspect that “Light in the Hallway” is where the singing-around-a-single-light motif comes from, for them. It’s a brilliant idea and makes it incredibly intimate. In concert, they typically take out their earpieces and put down their microphones, stand in a semicircle around around a single light bulb, and sing a song like this without amplification or other technology, while thousands of their fans hold their breath in complete silence to hear them weave this magic.
I know you will get lots of run to you requests. Light in the Hallway is another one. It is a lullaby written for Scotts nephew and Avi takes the lead in it.
Great reaction....its not xmas but please check ptx version of imagine, so beautiful you will have chills, and the message in the official video so perfect for current times, keep up the ptx trip im loving it
This is absolutely perfect. What more can you say say???? They are perfection 😮😢😮❤❤
The true genius of this group is portrayed in this song - they get better with ags!

Stunning.

No beatboxing just voices. So simple - just voices harmonizing. I loved it and cried because it was that intimate.
Breathtakingly beautiful from all members. They are superb!!!

Love seeing singing them with closed eyes for almost the whole time ❤️, similar with "Run to You" which I really recommend you. 👌🏻💕. So intimate.
Perfect unison, musically and emotionally, pure bliss.
Now, if you want to make your love feel even more loved, watch PTX can't help falling in love with them.
They performed this at their Christmas concert. Put the mics down and it was pure a cappella. Just beautiful
Also, live, they put their microphones down and sing without amplification.
they have 2 others that are just the 5 of them singing. please check out their videos Run to you and Light in the Hallway.
Can't stop falling in love as well...
Just doing what they do best. Beautiful.
Brilliant!! absolutely Brilliant, beautiful, touching....PTX you guys are insanely talented. great reaction. I'm touched, emotions on full.
There are parts of the song in which they all have their eyes closed. They are so insync they don't need visual cues.

Hypnotic! Thanks for doing this one.
I will always look forward to your heartfelt honest reactions/comments. Precious❣️🌺😉🤙🏼
I heat Kirstin and Mitch and then low notes of Matt. I totally agree with your assessment on how brilliant this song was. It was so magical.
Absolutely Beautiful! Perfect Harmony!
Check out Light In The Hallway (Scott wrote for his nephew) and Run to You (PTX original) very intimate like this!!
I second that!
