A bit late to the party...Loved the video and the overall presentation. Interesting that the spec differs on both cars here in Scotland (and the UK) I think. I'd very much like to see a review of the EQC as I've just ordered an AMG line version. Keep up the good work folks!
i can't believe the pricing in Ireland. I am in the UK ordered my Q4 sportback (basic sport) with tech and comfort pack all in for £45k in Aug 2021, got heads up, adaptive CC, elect powergate and sonos! What happened to that Q4 - not even a elect power gate and its eur. 63k
Good review guys. I enjoyed the boring tech stuff - you both really know your figures. As an ID4 driver, I’m fed up with poor VW software and am pleasantly surprised by the EQA; much better as a converted ICE than I expected.
I’ve already ordered a Q4 S-Line (in UK) as my next company car so am probably biased but the Mercedes is over-priced for the space you get (well it is on my company car price list). As it’s converted from an ICE car it’s just doesn’t have the cabin/boot space I need. I saw one in the showroom and just not practical for a family with kids/dogs etc. I went for the Q4 as for me it was cheaper than an Enyaq (quirk of the UK Salary Sacrifice scheme!) and the same price as an Ionic 5. The Audi was the best compromise of space, ride and price for me. I will say though that all the EV’s I tried were really good cars.
The MB software is really buggy - avoid the EQA. Expect it enter 'get-you-home' motor mode at any time and any speed. This is really dangerous on a motorway in traffic.
The merc is horrible looking.. I drove the Audi the other day and it's caught between a rock and a hard place when it comes to what you get within the 60k grant limit. Unless you absolutely need the Audi badge it makes no sense to buy it when you can get so much more for your money from VW/Skoda/Hyundai/Kia, and even Tesla.
What do you actually mean with the comment “not being a planet killer”? Volvo factory in the Nederland’s did their own calculations on the XC40 fully electric vs petrol or diesel version. The conclusion was that the fully electric must be driven 130 000 Kilometers before it will brake even, lets hope that after that it will be charged only with Nuclear, (not wind or solar they have the exact same problem) to make up for it even a little bit before the battery brakes. This shows the reality about how much more pollution the electric XC40 causes in the making. Do you hear lots of people out there talk about this?
That Audi is just poor value all across the board. I'm not saying the EQA is tonnes better, but it is somewhat. And it being RWD only is crazy. Good luck driving a 2500 kg, high riding car on RWD only with linear electric torque on icy Irish back roads. Not good.
Never thought I would say an Audi is more interesting to look at over a Mercedes. I'll pass on both these for a cheaper and far far more reliable Toyota when they release their bz4x!
Will go for the EQA.
Ordered EQA 250 amg line. Should be here in 12 weeks 😬🎉💥
I picked mine up last night 😎
Good to see your subscriptions increasing - well deserved. The ‘double act’ has bought a new dimension to the channel, 👍
If you want a budget Q4 you can get a ID4. Same bespoke platform, same battery options etc.
Great video guys. I was looking for a EQA as I has an ID3. VW software needs a booster so to say.

where the electric tail gate on Etron? - it's standard on my basic sport model!
For the presenters: you should state which equipment is extra - like the Audi 40-20-40 seats and boot adjustable floor.

I think this car is an early edition. Reversing camera and electric tailgate standard on the Sport & S line models.
You have reversing sensors on the S-Line but the camera is still optional sadly.

I think you have some sort of creature hiding in the back seat and its not a spider!

Made up story. There even isn’t a Volvo factory in the Nederlands/Netherlands
Do the sound test please? 😂

There is an AWD version coming. Secondly it doesn't weigh close to 2500 kg. It weighs 2135 kgs.

How do you know that Toyota EV are gonna be reliable, they are not even available yet?
@@Johnny24rs cause it's toyota, there's a reason they didn't rush any evs out there.
Good chemistry between you
I ordered an EQA one year ago, and was promised delivery during april 2022. Still haven't got it, big shame on Mercedes!!
Who is hiding in the back seat???
How in the backseat? 😬
I think Mercedes these days are over designed - not a fan of the interior. I prefer Volvo’s over the both. Great review guys! 👍🏻
Agree! Audi has the throne these days
Maybach is the only thing that matters in the benz family! Agree with me?
Great review guys! Might be worth calling out optional extras on future reviews which may/may not be included that can help range e.g. heat pump.
I don't understand English all the sudden
Q4 should be compared with EQC - not EQA as it’s not a fair comparison
The EQC starts from €84,000 here in Ireland.
Me just watching this and going back searching Peugeot 208 2015 :(
Sitting in the back of the EQA, his knees were around his ears because the floor was so high!
She's the better driver.
I love both of car review.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Looks like someone hiding in the backseat...
E-tron is the Megatron! Say no more
Noch nie so einen schlechten Vergleich gesehen!
That merc is fugly
Model Y will dominate the market when it's launched in Europe.
I beg to disagree with you, I wouldn't consider a Tesla under any circumstances I'm on my 4th EV and I'm very happy with European cars.
The ride quality is really bad with the model Y...
Model y ugly looks like a turtle
Model y ugly
Both are garbage of vehicles and only good if you sleep on money and have it so much so you must spend it somewhere on some stupidity
