- Meet Tw, Jp, and Pj. They are aged 1, 2 1/2, and 3, respectively. Not only do they love to go shopping with their mom, but they also love kale, raspberries, and mealworms.

It amazes me how people still confuse one of the most iconic reptiles In the world with iguanas
SERIOUSLY I actually don't understand it
People confuse tegus with an alligator. Usually people who aren't into reptiles are the most ignorant about them thus the people who say boas get 20 ft instead of a healthy understanding they average at 8ft. My other favorite is Chinese water dragons constantly getting confused with iguanas one shop that specializes is reptiles actually was shell shocked I named the species correctly and thanked me lmao. It just means if given the chance simply educate what the animal is and encourage foster a curiosity that can bloom to a future love for reptiles ^^

Same. I'm trying to get her more comfortable other places than just my chest. Lol! She jumped out of my hands trying to jump to my chest but didn't realize she was the other way around, and plummeted right on my hard wood floors. I thought I killed her I was so afraid. But, she just climbed back up and cuddled on my chest! Smh! 🤦🏼♀️😄
Her name is Miss Karen because of just how picky she was when I first got her. Everything Had to be her way or I got a look and then a head bob, until I got it right! Lol!

This lady is just like my mom. My mom would go to Walmart with Andy on one shoulder and Randy on the other. (But we had to leave Ellen, our ACTUAL iguana, at home.)

People would be surprised how big of a personality bearded dragons have. I called them bearded kitties because they're docile and humorous
I had no clue a lizzard could have such a big lovable personality until I became a beardie mom.. I call my girl my pokey puppy! she def shows more attention to me than my cats do, unless they want a treat they ignore me! My lizzard will bounce her rocks and logs around her house til she gets my attention and I talk to her! ❤😂
I call mine a scaley puppy! He gets VERY excited when getting fed, and glass surfs. He even tries to eat me sometimes 😭
yep, my girlie is pretty much a cat trapped in a tiny scaly body. She has her own window pearch (which was made for a cat) and her own lil pink fluffy bed (which was also made for a cat)

@@Cimsy_games the greater the love you give them, the greater the love you get...which is crazy considering that in the wild they are abandoned at birth causing them to be naturally paranoid and live out their lives in total isolation.

Lord, I get this all the time with my baby girl people always go “wow!!! She’s beautiful!!” And I’m like “thank you so much.” And I get a “is she an iguana?!.” While they hold and love on her. only people who own Bearded Dragons will get it right. half of the time she’s either called an iguana or a gecko. 😅 tho I call her my Gator baby because Beardies remind me so much of miniature alligators I swear!. 😂

I’m not the only one!. 😭💕 my Parents refuse to see what I do in her lol she got them Gator futures!! straight down to the legs and the way they walk! 😂 my Aunt calls her a dinosaur. in the most cutest way. “Where’s my favorite little dinosaur at??-aww there she is, hi pretty girl.” and her sis (AKA) my Mother be in the back fussing saying “stop calling my Lulu a dinosaur! she ain’t no dinosaur!.” yet she literally sees our Mother in my Breaded Dragon and the family thinks she’s nuts for seeing such in a “lizard” but now I can see where she’s coming from. Lulu has been the best thing that has come into our lives. not only for me, but for my Mother as well we are thankful everyday that she picked me to be her owner. when the rest feared me, and ran from me, she did not. ran straight up onto my hands. the smallest lil thing and looked at me with such aw she didn’t even wanna get off me as I talked so sweet to her she even gave my fingers little licks. I remember how much I smiled saying this is the one even my Mother said it with me. we got into the car and that same look she had for me never died she hated not being able to be closer to me but for safety kept her in her little container…..she was so small no bigger than my finger almost. I’ll never forget how instead of me keeping her inside of her enclosure I would love on her and snuggle her or how she would crawl into my shirt to get comfortable and warm we would fall asleep together I didn’t want to leave her side at all and she never wanted to leave mines. she’s a year old today going on Two soon and I gotta say she’s my very first REPTILE and I love her to bits!!. (Sorry for any typos in a rush/at work!.)

He's the sassiest thing I've seen :D always giving me the side eye, but I still love him so much eventhough he judges me :Ddd Our beardie loves music and he likes watching stuff like the tv, so I always take him out and we watch movies on my laptop together (ofc nothing too violent because he is still a baby :D), and sometimes when I play my vinyls he might go crazy and wanna get out to listen more closely. So far he loves 60's music and cypress hill :D no metal though, it stresses him out sadly

Yours love music too?! my baby girl LULU LOVES music!! and she loves it all!. whenever we play anything she wants to get out and on top of whatever the music is coming out of!. she also loves TV just as well and window time along with car rides are her favorite. The only thing that stresses her out are birds and ceiling fans. when I posted her online I get a little bit of hate for playing music saying how Beardies hate loud sounds and it stresses them out but I feel as tho not all animals are the same because I’m so very happy to hear that my girl isn’t the only one who loves music and I can play just about any type of music u name it and she is fine with it that goes for rock and heavy metal. it doesn’t freak her out at all. but when I am away I play more chill music and relaxing music and that helps keep her from being so depressed when I am away and at work till I arrive back home to snuggle and cuddle her till we knock out for the night. if she’s truly mad with me I will know. She will go in her hide far in the back and will turn her backside towards the entrance and will stay in there for three days until I am able to keep her real company but like I am always keeping my baby girl company, she needs to understand that all I do is for her. 🤣 animals are like children I swear!.
@@neenee17able yess!! Elmo loves music, he also tries to get closer to the source of the music!! I've read that some beardies actually do enjoy music, which is why they may try to get closer to the sound. I haven't taken my beardie outside yet since I live in a busy area and it's way too cold for him anyways, but he looooves to watch out the window, I think he just likes to look at all the traffic. He's been pretty chill now because of winter, but spring and summertime he just goes crazy, all he wants to do is roam around our appartment!! He's so curious, seeking every corner and licking everything on the way :D

If there's a wide open spaces there you generally okay and being around each other it's when you get into com bining like less than 6 ft² they've become territorial. Taking them shopping like this or going out and open areas keeps them busy in kind of an observation mode. If you went home and stuck them on the same small space they would eventually pull dominance via eating priority, physical position on the space or threatening baby

Yep - mine goes shopping all the time too! I put a towel in the bottom of the cart and plop her in and hardly anybody notices.
If I think I’m going into a store that people may freak out if they see her, I simply pop her under my shirt and she just snuggles up next to my neck for 30 minutes or so while I get the shopping done - again few people notice.
Mine also loves to ride in the car on the dash (on her towel)….if I drive kinda slow (5 mi. hr. under), which isn’t hard to do because most of the time, I’m just going within 3-5 miles away anyhoo which means I’m not on any major roads or highways.
Good pet parents don’t keep their babies locked up in a cage 24/7….unless you have the obvious untouchables (spiders, scorpions, aquatics, etc.).
Good babies learn to be good by interaction. Happy for you that you’ve successfully succeeded!!!

Do they ever poop on you when sitting on your shoulder? I have always wondered this.
Only once when he was young and I just got him. About 7 years ago. If he has to poop he starts frantically trying to get down. He did try to get down back then, but I didn't realize what was happening and kept picking him back up. So he looked me dead in the eyes and pooped on me. 😂😂 Now I've learned his body language and it hasn't happened again.

You can tell these lizards have been around each other for a good while. My oldest is almost 2, youngest almost 10 months and the middles are one and its just one fiant ball of head bobbing, foot stomping and waving. 😂😂
