So complete! Very helpful to start with individuals then let us watch those techniques work for you with couples and the wedding party. Thank you! BTW, welcome to Texas!
Very good! I didn't hear you comment on the first couple shoot about using a flash and it looked like you had an assistant backfill with either a strobe of a slave.
Thank you so much vanessa for all these helpful tips ! I love how you direct and understand people. Some great insights from this video that i'll apply :)
Where do you find your locations to shoot your models? Do you see a house like in the start of the video and ask the homeowner and so on? When I started learning how to shoot portraits my friends Mother who is a Master Photo, Master Craftsman named Catherine Craft out of Anderson, SC tells the model to say the word "Please" it forms the mouth and lips in a very natural placement instead of the old "Cheese" crap from the old days. LOL I really loved the couple posing and the Groom by himself shots :-)

Hello, this video is very informative. Gained many ideas. In addition, the contagious enthusiasm and fun is a great motivator to try things out yourself. Thank you.
Thanks for this , however please can you use equipment most of may have rather than super high end and not professional models. Thanks again, it is appreciated.
Many if the solo male poses are not working if you cover his legs as he is having knock knees. Please cove one more video for better posing for knock knee dudes. Thanks for amazing content so far.
@@VanessaJoy Ow I don't know what we should call it technically, but some people have theirs knees touching to each other when they stand straight (I heard its called knocking knees).
I keep seeing the whole "do this for a dainty lady" and "do this for a big strong manly man" thing in photography tutorials and books, and I think it's silly. Maybe a guy wants to come off as more approachable, or a woman wants to look strong? Do what fits the mood of the shoot, regardless of gender.
She's so easy to listen too, such a nice voice and she looks great. Great tips throughout!
Thx so much 😊

Knock knees?

Totally agree, it’s all about body language and communicating what you want through it.
Way too much posing. This is why most Instagram photos look identical. They don't let the model just be themselves. They're too rigid.
Yes absolutely and I don’t necessarily pose my models or real clients so stiff but it has to be thing way to explain it all step by step
