Nice tips but this is soooo easy with a stunning model who KNOWS how to do everything you're telling her already! If you could show this workflow on a real bride who doesn't have this posing experience, that would be great.
it’s hard to convince non working models to do videos with you, especially all day long as I film 10-12 videos in a day 😉 regardless I say literally the same things and get almost identical results with the exception of a variety of facial expressions - but I’ll have a video on how to get those later!

Great variety! Thanks for that! So you have frontal lighting,reflection of the light of rhe wall for fill in the first part. It would be usefuel to explain your light situation ,however as i see it's more a posing tutorial. Thanks again.

simple ... but I like it ... I often take photos of hijab brides ... because here are a lot of Muslims ... you are my inspiration in photo style ... my camera is canon eos 6 d and sigma lens 24 -70 ... no art kwkwkw... Macro ... often loses focus ... thank you brother ...

Superior work! How much in advance do you normally shoot the bride prior to the wedding and do you use a color checker? Thanks!
I don’t use a color checker and we photograph the bride right after she gets dressed and a little more after the first look or ceremony

Probably eye detect af with af servo. It's the R5. Around 5:55 looks like she was using touch and drag AF for the detail shots

When the bride & groom are selecting what to buy are you showing photos that are cropped to a uniform size (for example, 8×10) and then recropping to other sizes in accordance to what they want to actually purchase?
I just show them as shot :) we can crop later in albums or for wall art

Hi Vanessa: in terms of protecting the highlights at 9:00 have you ever shot in highlight tone prioritiy?
I used to always shoot in HTP But it would annoy me not being able to go down to ISO 100, and the truth is if you totally blow your highlights you’ve totally blown them so the highlight tone priority wasn’t going to save me from super blown out exposure anyway

What drives your decision to choos between natural light and flash when doing bridals?
My style is natural light so I’ll use flash if it enhances the natural look (golden hour or fill flash) or if I want to do something dramatic (at night particularly).

But I would prefer having a darker or more contrast in the background

Lol My opinion is already there. I took the pictures the way I like them. But if you like darker backgrounds that’s fine too!

Noticed the 28-70 F2.0 was swapped for the 50mm F1.2…is that typical for you shooting without an assistant?

It’s a thing now that Wedding Photographers samples are full of models dressed as brides, kinda gives the wrong message …but of course £££
I totally agree with you. Styled shoots are a good thing but you’re really setting yourself up for failure if your portfolio is full of styled shoots, because those expectations cannot be met on the wedding day typically.
