@@regularjmg True. But to be fair, the game is playable and still fun imo despite the bugs. I havnt seen too many unlike other games where its actually unplayable at release. But lets hope for the best on this game. I can give it some slack since not priced as a AAA Full Priced game at its base edition. $40 for a game like this is not and at all for what it has to offer

Yeah I'm sad to say I saw this coming with console parity being their goal. The future is starting to look grim for the game.
It's so strange. Payday 2 on consoles was ruined while PC flew ahead, now PC is being held back for the sake of consoles.
OVK imposing console parity upon themselves, in a work environment that previously couldn't manage it at all, _seems_ to be the culprit? Console parity isn't the actual problem, it's that it can't be approached with the same skittery rapid patches and plan changes OVK could do when updating internal builds or only a game's PC version, so this megapatch split but maybe reformed into a megapatch again, that might just be bugfixes but might also be a QoL and UI update... It's jamming OVK's development pipeline and stopping them from getting even a simple trickle of fundamental improvements out.
On a more big picture level, I am worried that after Payday 3 recovers, after the 1 + 1/2 years of mandated support, the project might not be considered viable for the long-term. Presumably the decision will be mostly Embracer Group's, and even if PD3 achieves the same ~10k-15k average playercount PD2 did, I don't know if Embracer will consider that a live service worth continued investment, or if they will be too risk averse to accept a fixer-upper.
At least in these dark times, LGL are earnestly working on RAID: WW2's Update 22, long past the point where nobody would blame them if they had abandoned development, but are still dedicated to improving the game in spite of it. Genuinely warms my heart and I am rooting for them #blammosweep
seems like a bit of a waste of LGL's time, very very few people still play that game.
@@blackadder5346 It's essentially a handful of people working on it now that the studio is in a better place financially, so don't worry about them dumping resources too much, it is more like a passion project they're doing on the side.
Haven't heard "my jimmies are rustled" in like 12 years, still laugh at it though 😂
This game should have stayed in the oven for one more year.They need to ditch that cancerous always online mode.
Gosh this game needs so much work to make it proper.
They most likely couldn't financially afford to let it bake for another year.

@@user-ks7hm2eh5uthis is most likely. I think OVK is comparitively a very consumer focused company, compare this to a bad launch from Ubisoft, activision /blizzard, EA. The communication is so great comparatively, but end of the day the publishers or shared holders if they have them want returns. Same thing that happened to CDPR with cyberpunk.

@user-ks7hm2eh5u Maybe, but at the same time. Starbreeze is the one who chose to have Deep Silver publish PD3. They could have gone with someone better, but again, money. Starbreeze needed it, and Deep Silver was willing to work with them. They were stuck between a rock and a hard place.
PAYDAY 3 Deserved Better.
It’s like this because every fuckin modern game, including cod, is filled with bugs and released knowing this. Literally, COD: MW2 had so many bugs that it makes this game look bugless and perfect by comparison on launch. However it’s a thing now that every game in todays day and age is allowed to have bugs that should’ve been fixed in beta or alpha stages of the game.
I love payday 2, but payday 3, if you want it to be good you’ll be waiting until the end of next year if that.
But Payday 3 is much like when Payday 2 first got released, (BAREBONED) All things worked on in Payday 2, non of it has been implemented into Payday 3. I don't know about you but to me. I can't understand the logic in releasing a barebone sequel to Payday 2.
@@Dr-Shite-Kicker I like Payday 2 but as you have brought up it’s after all the fixes. I’ve played payday 2 after all the fixes and I like it, and that’s why I said if you want Payday 3 to be good you’ll be waiting a good year or so. Because by then they might have the bugs mostly fixed.
And there is no logic, I was hoping there wasn’t gonna be any bareboned bullshit but nope, there’s plenty of that.
That’s why I’ve been playing Mass Effect on insanity, is more fun and better than suffering on payday 3.
This launch is going to taint this game for at least half its live service
i just gave up on payday 3 at this point.
playing coop with friends feels unrewarding, cause you progress is faster and easier solo if you speedrun the same 2 maps on stealth or just lock yourself into a bathroom and mow down incomming assault waves for 45min...
close to 100h, somewhere around level 70 ingame, can not be asked to waste more time on this mess of a game^^
oh and something else i want to add: F*** Sony and their patch approval process! id say just exclude playstation from cross-platform if they want to be special (talking about ALL games, not just payday) lets see their market share after everyone going to xbox or switch cause you can play with all your friends ;)
why do we as PC players have to suffer from sonys bad descicion making? i really dont get it... (and yes, its only Sony PlayStation causing these issues, always has been since crossplay was a thing!)
Thanks to the incompetent nature of the devs i was finally able to 100% achieve a Steam game, which i have never been able to do before.
Thanks devs, I'll come back when someone actually gets some work done and finishes the game.
Low key think they did this for me and my crew, just waiting for us to unlock everything before giving us the patch taking away the ease of access

It sucks that it just feels like if your on console its a big middle finger to you.. i paid 120$ for the gold edition haven’t gotten to the play the game until 3 days after it came out.. no cosmetics and I couldn’t even get a refund after the game came out. I emailed the company directly and they didn’t even try to reimburse me (not that they would) or even give me some sense of clarity. Literally stating that oh because your on ps5 f#%^ you , you know you should be on pc. I cant even get into games with other people now on the game and end up playing with the bots and when i do idk if matchmaking communication is broke?! But this is ridiculous. I hate comparing a game to its previous release but holy shit they really dropped the ball especially with the lack of content and this online only nonsense
What makes this also an issue is its that hard for them to just add the cosmetics for the PlayStation players how far better will the dlc be when they try to release it for PlayStation players it might be delayed for a month.
I think they'd just keep delaying it for everybody until PS5 is ready rather than break parity to drop it on some systems and delay it on PS5

uh no? you ever heard of a game called payday 2 kinda dont want another situation like that on our hands again do we. if they remove playstation they would probably stop working on the console version altogether and focuz on pc again. people like you are the type of people who wish the worst for a game to fail on release. TLDR the patch isnt due to playstation never did they once say that< what they said was the patch wasnt being released due to stability issues. nothing to do with playstation
@@touchmymalice- Uh, yes? Consoles ARE to blame for such patch delays because of patch verification aka certification that takes from 10 to 14 days for consoles. And you deadass went and compared it to PAYDAY 2. Hate breaking it to you cupcake but console ports haven't been updated for half a decade at least. And consider READING next time. Temporary removal is not permanent removal.
@@purple_1884 What happened with the Payday 2 console version was supposed to be a "Temporary" thing too, though. They said there will be *some* disparity but they would revisit the console ports given the opportunity. And after that the console versions never got an update.
Given their track record a temporary exclusion could very well mean that version of the game is straight up just dead, so in that sense I can see why some people are not very keen on seeing this company splitting up their focus on different versions.
Too bad, you gotta wait like everyone else lol🤷🏻♂️

Lmao dude are you serious? This is starbreeze. This is how they treated pd2 and their lesser successful games. This is a company that ships broken games. Over promises. Under delivers. All the while almir will prefer too late “we are sorry and we are trying to do better” with the practiced sincerity of an Oscar winning actor….all the while feeling you up for you last penny.

I play on PlayStation and I’m not gonna lie I’m a lotta upset because not only do I not get the silver edition content I spent an extra 35 bucks on but I also can’t listen to the cutscenes at all

When you take into consideration that payday 2 on consoles only have a fraction of the content pc has, this makes you wonder if they will do the same with payday 3 eventually. If they do, why play payday 3 on consoles at all?
I can't imagine they will with crossplay being a core mandate and selling feature. I think we're in the timeline where the PC version will always be limited to the lowest common denominator

The game was DOA from the beginning. The first trailer looked like unfinished trash. At this point i don‘t even now what all of you expected. Day one on Gamepass was the next sign. In a few weeks everything will be flooded with new games and that‘s it.
Looked finished to me at first, but the launch was definitely inexcusable even though I enjoy the game

There's so many problems with Payday 3 that are inexcusable, even though I do enjoy the game, but saying it's a scam is definitely a stretch
It's just the company being somewhat incompetent, but I'm pretty sure, at the very least, the devs care for the game

That's about and made with problems not acceptable in the time we live in look if u love the game and think that the content is enough then great but me personally hate the game and I see how they doo scam ppl allot of devz do it unfortunately like o what does everybody want in the game ofline mode o we working on it just stay tuned lol makes me laugh my opinion tho

At least THEY ARE working on it. The game would be 100% better if they had those features at launch, but unfortunately, that's not reality right now. The thing is that the devs are actively working on it, but that's gonna take some time (but of course, the delays are disappointing)
