Yall should get a couple of those aluminum cages that the IBC totes come in. You can load them full of firewood and use the fork attachment to carry them put wheels on one and roll it into shop and back out when empty and pick it up and fill it then bring back, set it down and roll it into shop and park it and use it for your wood storage.
Evan, please don't pay any attention to the comment from John Butterfass. He obviously hasn't been "along for the ride" these past few years as you and Rebekah have transitioned your property from the terrible condition it was in when you bought it to the showplace you have today. I think I can speak on behalf of your viewers and say we have enjoyed seeing what you have accomplished and admire your determination and work ethic. And as the old adage says.. "Sometimes things have to get worse before they can get better." Sometimes we have to make a little mess before we can complete the job. So, thanks to you and Rebekah for sharing your journey. It's been great entertainment, plus It's been inspiring seeing you tackle tasks and problems and work out the best solution for your homestead. Looking forward to seeing more. Best wishes!
I found your channel a couple months ago,I. enjoy your vidios.FYI years ago we had a similar weight on the 3 point of our tractor ,and we use to ride on it also, until where the 2 point attaches the the tractor arms broke and fell to the ground while driving it,luckily no one was one it at the time, but never aloud anyone to ride on it again
On a cold day when most people would want to be huddled around the fireplace, you guys are out working in it! And Miss Rebekah does love her critters ... I love the smiles ...
We're thinking of getting a new vacuum cleaner like yours for our pellet stove , then our old ash vac will become mine for use in my new outdoor kitchen. We also did the Dave Ramsey plan and paid off our house 18 years early, plus no credit card dept. We still make house payments, however, we now add those payments to our money market account rather than to the mortgage company.
Why don‘t you adapt your wood shelve to lift it with your fork. Than you pik it up with the traktor, drive it to your wood storage, fill it up and set it back where it was. That would save you quite some time.
Wow. You have ended up with quite a cat collection. I hope for Rebecca's sake they are doing their job effectively. Congratulations on your steer Rebecca... It was good to see you.
Totally enjoy your farm. If I'm truthful, a little envious. I've wanted a farm ever since my folks sold out when they retired. It just never worked out for me and my family. Oh well, the Good Lord had His plan and one can't improve on that. Smart use of that old busted up concrete.
You both are such a blessing to me. I see you and your wife, and I always think of my wife and myself. Doing chores much like y’all do. We too are doing the Dave Ramsay method of getting out of debt. Working hard on the snowball effect. God bless you both!!! ❤️❤️❤️
You guys are doing a great job. Love watching you. I know Rebecca is not so much of a flower lover but a piece of prairy plants somewhere would look lovely to see and good for the bees
A much needed video. Thanks. My daily driver was a 2010 Corolla. Bought it new and donated it to my son a couple of months ago for is daily driver. It's just about to roll over 200,000 miles and it's been a great car and really great gas milage. It should last him for a good while if he takes care of it.
Great job Evan and Rebecca, you two get so much more work done when you're together working. It's really looking good around there and getting more like you want it all the time. Stay safe and keep having fun. Fred.
Evan, they make a drill bit that you can use in your cordless drill to split wood for the kindling and it will work on bigger logs also. You had really good help and Rebecca has this special way of handling any kind of livestock or domestic animals.
Awesome video Evan and Rebekah, great team. Love the name Fire Ball. I had a steer named Corn Apple (his favorite things to eat). Like different names like that. Our Wyoming life has one named Cracker Jack, he's a big ole handsome boy.
I can’t tell you how much I had my old Saturn back! I just filled up yesterday $99 for 28 gallons of 87😫. I would love to have a small car just to drive back and forth to work. My current vehicle has 351 horses and they are always thirsty......but today they want new prices for old vehicles! My local dealer want 11.5k for a two door 4cyl single cannot truck that is a 2014 with a 166k miles! Keep that Saturn buddy!!!!!!!
I have the same ash vac that I’ve used for about 4 years now. You want to make sure you keep that bag filter cleaned or it’ll lose its vacuum power real quick, other then that it works well.
I was laughing when you told your mug to stay. I do the same thing and my wife who makes fun of me for telling inanimate objects to stay. Had to show her that part which resulted in a massive eye roll but still made me laugh. Keep it up Evan!
Well glad to see the dogs are doing ok. Man you scared me I closed my eyes I thought you were going to hit the porch post with the tractor. I see the pond didn't freez over this year bit the duck enjoyed that.
Evan--How do you know you are running that shop stove at the proper/safe temp without a thermometer on the flue? Helps tell you if you are to hot or too cool...either is bad for the chimney.
Bought my wife an 05’ Saturn ion with a 5spd manual trans back in 2011 for $4k. She drove it until last year when somebody hit her and totaled it with about 230k miles on it. Great little car.
Just a suggestion, the rack for your fire wood. Why don't you make it portable, then when it is empty, you pick it up with forklift take it to the place where you stock pile, load it up, then drop it back at the house. Cutting out an extra step
Use an IBC tote aluminum cage. It has a base that can be used as a pallet. In the shop it can have caster wheels mounted to it to move it on concrete. It can be wheeled out of the shop, to the tractor and use the forks to pick it up, fill it and then bring back to the shop full and then roll it over to be stored by the stove to pull wood from. It will hold as much or more wood than you had stacked.
Evan and Rebekah, I've been watching your videos for quite a while now and I'm always impressed with your skills and how you work together. But one thing I'm most impressed with is how y'all have followed the D. Ramsey methods. My wife and I was doing DR a couple of years before we even knew he existed, but he did give us a better grip on it. Most people will not even try it and many more will not stick to it since in the early stages A LOT of sacrifice is needed - I think y'all will agree by now 😊 - and they're not usually willing to do that. Anyway, we are MUCH better off today by follow his advice and I'm sure y'all are as well. Nice job all the way around. 👍
It was so great seeing Rebekah in a video ❤️ How are the dogs doing? Have you see or heard the coyotes anymore? How are the boys goats doing? Do you think any of the girls are pregnant? 😂 Sorry...that's a lot of questions! It was so nice to get this unexpectedly video this evening. Thank you
All the animals are fine. The dogs have stayed close to the house since the fight with coyotes. We think at least 2 of the hosts are pregnant but will should find out in another month.
That ice was fantasticly everywhere, I never seen it coated nuts that way before! The cats sure found a spot to snuggle on, they will have to change their place when the steers shows up, otherwise they will be wet after the steers licks them all over, remember we had a cat that always fell alseep in the calf barn, and he always woke up wet after the calfs had licked his fur all over, he looked really funny :D The turkeys seems to be very social and like being around you two, is that a usual thing with turkeys?
I have a 1998 Saturn. Still running. And since I am an old coot this will be my last car. I am very fond of it.
When I had a wood stove before I moved I bought some wheeled cages and stacked green wood and covered till it dried
Sometimes the simplest chores are the most relaxing.
Rebecca is a sweetheart. Everytime I see her I just start smiling.
Right there with you ....

Proper team !...
Great, another interesting vid from Evan and Rebecca. Thanks guys
The two of u are just made for each other love your videos Roger from ky
Two pair of hands make light work.....great job helping Rebekah. You looked quite comfortable sitting on the box at back. Y'all have a Blessed day.

I see Rebecca gets to have ALL the fun, good for her
Next tire fix put some air in the tire . It will give you a better base to push into.
Save an old car tire to use for splitting your kindling, swedish trick, lay the tire on its side then fill with logs to split.
A cute couple, and a powerhouse team!

throw some wood ash around the inside of the barn, kills lice or bugs, little bit will do, Rebecca ,you rock!
Totally enjoyed this video!!! So peaceful!! Thanks!!! 💗💖🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
That ground was so dry in that old barn... it smoked ! 🤣
Love how Tom the Turkey always is following you around and checking out what you are doing. You would think it's part dog. lol
That barn looks SO much better! I can appreciate the hours of work you have done!!
Why don‘t you adapt your wood shelve to lift it with your fork. Than you pik it up with the traktor, drive it to your wood storage, fill it up and set it back where it was. That would save you quite some time.

I got a plug kit at the Iowa State Fair about 30 years ago. It's the only way to go.
Nice tyre repair Evan. Icicle day too!!! Brrrrrrrrr
You two work so well together, it's nice to see you working together on the Homestead.
Thanks for sharing, you guys make a great team.
You both are such a blessing to me. I see you and your wife, and I always think of my wife and myself. Doing chores much like y’all do. We too are doing the Dave Ramsay method of getting out of debt. Working hard on the snowball effect. God bless you both!!! ❤️❤️❤️

It's always better when you can work together to get the work done!
You need to get 2 of those stove fans that come on as the wood stove heats up. We love ours.
What a beautiful homestead and all around setup you built yourselves 🤙🇺🇲
Love the video Evan & Rebecca Keep them commings .
Yes good to see dogs are lookin good. Love your videos thanks so much. Your videos liven up my life always look forward to your next one.
those brown plugs are the good ones.
how about a box fan behind the woodstove to move more air and some ceiling fand to pull the heat down to the floor
Need to put a fan behind that woodstove.
We got just a little more ice then snow last week. Got colder then today it was almost 80
Yeah I think we got into the 60s today. It was a very nice day.
A much needed video. Thanks. My daily driver was a 2010 Corolla. Bought it new and donated it to my son a couple of months ago for is daily driver. Love when both of you are in the videos. Hope the dogs are feeling better after their wild animal encounter.
See your barn cats are helping a lot ,barn looks great
Great job Evan and Rebecca, you two get so much more work done when you're together working. It's really looking good around there and getting more like you want it all the time. Stay safe and keep having fun. Fred.
Those turkeys are beautiful. Are you going to keep the turkeys?
Always enjoy watching.❤
If Rebecca cooks as well Evan, you are definitely the luckiest man on the planet !!
Really enjoy watching the farm chores
It’s so awesome seeing you both working together. Your a lucky man Evan. Looking forward to seeing the new steers
Such a beautiful farm and lifestyle, makes me a bit jealous as it has always been a dream
No rats or mice in that back end of the barn that you cleared out?? Your cats must be working OVERTIME 😁
I commend you on how you and your wife keep your farm cleaned up and productive
Great video guys!👍🏻
Did you learn the fireplace glass trick from cruisingthecut? That is what he suggests for cleaning the glass in a fireplace.
No, I read it somewhere.
@@CountryViewAcres It works well. The intro of your videos is always so calming. Keep up the good work!
Nice job Evan and Rebecca, good when you get help, well done Rebecca.🇨🇮☘️👍🔨
Gas here in Vermont hit $4.10 a gallon today Even
Evan, they make a drill bit that you can use in your cordless drill to split wood for the kindling and it will work on bigger logs also. You had really good help and Rebecca has this special way of handling any kind of livestock or domestic animals.
Drag a magnet to pick up nails etc. before the cattle arrive? Just a thought...
Need to make you couple of wood carts with wheels that you can fill & move with the pallet forks. Then roll them on your &/or shop!
Have you and Rebekah ever considered doing a live Q & A? I think you would have a lot people interested in it because I know I am. Love your videos!!
Wife and I are also Dave Ramsey people, life changing for sure.
Always enjoy your video's, must say you work very well together , great to see .. NSW AUSTRALIA
Darnit Evan! it's10:15 pm, and you have me craving a cuppa coffee....
Awesome video Evan and Rebekah, great team. Love the name Fire Ball. I had a steer named Corn Apple (his favorite things to eat). Like different names like that. Our Wyoming life has one named Cracker Jack, he's a big ole handsome boy.

Great work guys Rebekah you sure had a good seat on the back of the tractor. Fun but I bet it was cold. Hope the dogs are okay.
Smart use of the old wall rubble. Sure hope it works and prevents erosion. This was a nice video.
I have the same ash vac that I’ve used for about 4 years now. You want to make sure you keep that bag filter cleaned or it’ll lose its vacuum power real quick, other then that it works well.
The back of that barn looks great! I like the way y'all get things done. Can't wait to see the video on the steers! Stay warm, spring is almost here.
Put fans in there to push heat back down from the high ceiling.
pretty sure thats the plan once they get a ceiling installed.
Evan--How do you know you are running that shop stove at the proper/safe temp without a thermometer on the flue? Helps tell you if you are to hot or too cool...either is bad for the chimney.
enjoy the video and what cold there
Glad to see your subscriber number is increasing. You two are hard workers. You two will be at 100k before long and deserve it.
Bought my wife an 05’ Saturn ion with a 5spd manual trans back in 2011 for $4k. She drove it until last year when somebody hit her and totaled it with about 230k miles on it. Great little car.
Got a good workout moving all those blocks. :)
Look at the giddy smile! I would be the same way riding on the back of that tractor lol.

Evan I drive a 2004 Ion - 2nd vehicle - always looks great and last set of winter tires installed under $400 Canadian... so $320 USD
great video...love to go around your farm with you...you do a good job on video..Thank You !
My friend you’re gonna have to Revisit the tire the plug is gonna come out because of the rotation of the tire it have to be more than halfway in
Get one of those heat fans that set on top of the stove. They seem to work well
You and your wife are quite a team but you can't touch your Tom turkey he's always the star of the show he knows when to show up he is a star
Love the video! I wish we had a pound like yours for our ducks. I have always wanted to try the Dave Ramsey plan. Keep up the good work!
I've built engines using a beam type torque wrench way before they had the clickers , still got it.
All of your videos are great!!
Fantastic work as always keep it up
I look forward to your videos.

You will have to get a pad to sit on for the weight box. LOL
Thank you

I see you do know that trick to clean glass on fireplace, I do my smoker the same way.
Love watching your guys' videos! Inspires me to want to get cracking on some stuff around my house 😁
Hey Rebecca have Evan put a couchen on that new seat on the tractor😅
Great job Rachel and Evan! Always wonderful to get everything cleaned up! Can't wait till you bring the Steelers home!God bless y'all!

That coffee sounded soo good!
Love the videos
