De Minaur is one of those players who can reach a very high level but can't seem to maintain it long enough to win matches. I hope he can learn to do that because when he's at his best, he's one of my top 10 favorite players to watch.
@@muhammedmustafa5725 the grass season should start mid-june this year and last for about a month. there are no other surfaces played during this period
Incredible speed and fighter. Has made a lot of progress in improving his serve and groundstrokes, a key tactic that has probably held him back from better success, but he's only 23 though; if he continues to work on his baseline game over time I'm sure he'll reach at least the finals of any of the grand slams.
1 year later- he has greatly improved his serve power and won his second ATP title! he’s still only 24 - with his work ethic and athleticism anything is possible
Against Nadal, granted he did injure himself as a result if that match but his level for 1.75 sets was about as good as i have ever seen, especially considering that his serve, is not a weapon. He was just out playing and out hitting Nadal!
0:34 a wonderful flapping bird👏👏good potential Alex! We love these fantastic tennis moments. But work on strategic play too. Conserve energy for the right moments and meditate for the moments you need to focus and win the crucial points. Most importantly, don’t be in a position to having to crawl out of a ditch. Can’t do multiple times. Work on professional look also.
Very deadly when he combines his movement with big hitting. You'd think if he could keep up that big hitting consistently he should be able to win a bunch of titles, maybe even a slam.
Conserving energy and spending at the crucial points in time is the key. All that running around when the point did not matter might cost him physically. Rafa learned that at 35.
Happy 23rd Birthday to De Minaur! 🥳

Yes. he can play excellent defence but lacks in offence and creative play. Still decent player.
I think he is the opposite. Doesn't have the weapons to beat the big players. Great guy tho who has fulfilled his potential
Shorty said she like my de minaur
He’s a lot like schwartzman, they can make good runs but not quite good enough to get to grand slam finals.
@@ryanschmit3948 agreed 👍
you can see the pain in Rublev's eyes
A little bit like Hewitt. Great speed. Good defense. Amazing counter.
Both are great but he is nothing like Hewitt... you can say they're both Australian...
@@ckarea55 No he is kinda similar to Hewitt he's right I can see that
@@eyeofhorus1301 He is nothing like Hewitt man, the stroke, the hitting point, the game style... Omg everything is so different
@@ckarea55 He is very counterpunchy high consistency like Hewitt
@@eyeofhorus1301 Yea, like 80% of the pro are like that
De Minaur burns more rubber than a drag racer!
love watching him play, always a pleasure. can wait for the grass season
I am new to tennis. How long does grass season continue? And are there going to be hard court tournaments in grass season period?

He has to be the fastest player on tour

@@mobileplayer9638 But old Rafa is on tour these days. Still fast enough to win a slam though 😅
I love this kid. So much heart. Another Davydenko and Ferrer and Hewitt
There are also his matches against humbert (atp cup) tsonga (sydney) and murray that were god mode
De Minaur is best player in the world. True legend!
Love this guy! Great fun to watch, puts in 100% and maxes his talent.

Not in a million years he'll make a major final. I agree with speed and fighting, but he is basically weaponless.
I don't know about "at least a slam final". I mean, he definitely could reach a slam final, but I don't think the odds are that great.
1 year later- he has greatly improved his serve power and won his second ATP title! he’s still only 24 - with his work ethic and athleticism anything is possible
His Speed just like Young Rafa 🌀🌀
He's gonna beat Brooksby today. We're seeing a Minotaur 2.0 lately. One with rounds in the chamber, not just a near impenetrable shieldwall.
What a terrible day to post this
Against Nadal, granted he did injure himself as a result if that match but his level for 1.75 sets was about as good as i have ever seen, especially considering that his serve, is not a weapon. He was just out playing and out hitting Nadal!
dude is like a modern davydenko
That's a great comparison, hadnt thought of that.
Davydenko was a great shot maker he's more like Chang.
Alex de Minaur is my true idol... The way he plays is completely fascinating
Mjesec dana nakon što se smijao Novaku osumnjičen za korištenje lažnog Kovid pasoša. Pa i nije baš dobar primjer za idola.❤️🇷🇸
Am i the only one who thinks Alex De Minuar looks like Jordi from Brazzers?
Demons got potential..
The Flash-My name is Barry Allen and I am the fastest man alive.

What god..far from true
God, how I wish you could find an alternative to GOD MODE !
I enjoyed watching him go Godmode against Djokokvic at the 2023 Australian open #Goddess
0:32 De Minaur channeling Michael Phelps.
Isn’t he under investigation right now?
WOOOW the match against nadal was amazing he really was feeling it btw did he win that match?
More of legs than racket. If he can develop a bit more power and consistency it would be great
beware the Demon in green and gold
De Minaur does NOT go into God mode. We all know who THE GOD is. Hint: 22

Is it worth it to chase down all the balls, it's not the smartest use of energy
Yes, but then it’s these mad tennis drills that win the hearts of us.. fans!
Really good player, but he needs to work on the speed of his strokes in order to become a top. 10 player
Happy Birthday De Minaur!
Pretty sure singular points are not "God Mode"
Highlights against Nadal: oh, he is outrunning 1 of Top3!
Looking the score: Nadal won that match.
lets keep God out of that
Wonderful speed and hustle. If only he has better groundstrokes. Maybe change techniques?
His face during the Nadal match was scary. Like he wanted to destroy Rafa....
The Australian rabbit
He really reminds me of how Hewitt played,he runs like a March hare🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"He's outhitting Nadal" mostly summarizes this.
Give Aussie's a bit of grass, and they will perform

God mode? Really?😂 any big 3 win?
Stop saying GOD mode. Do you honestly think tennis tv that a shot in tennis is anything near what God has done? It’s a freaking tennis shot.
