That was great what u were able to get out of the way. This would certainly make a good revisit n the future when it was lower do it would b safer. Ty for sharing
Good job draining the stream. I'd like to see you go back and take that log out: maybe bring your hand saw and a shovel, or even a chain saw. Those logs don't belong there and are holding back a lot of silt. I liked seeing the eel. I live on the other side of the country. So, I really enjoy seeing your local flora and fauna. Keep up the good work!🤗
Pretty great video man. This is a project culvert. Every week or after the storm check in. Erosion will help alot. Using your saw or chainsaw too. Definitely keeping an eye out for a follow-up man. Cheers man.👍💪😊❤️
Sometimes large logs were used to regulate the amount of water being released, sort of like a “lock” dam. You did say it looked like a very old bridge and culvert! You did a great job removing those large ones! Be safe!
That must've been a significantly amount of rain to carry those heavy logs down and get them stuck like that. The e water was running more freely after you got them out. Thank you for the amazing video. Be careful, be safe and God bless you, dear heart!
Great job on removing the logs and letting the water flow. You’re getting better at your camera angles. Nice to see you up and about and doing what you like to do. Keep up the good videos
Prolly needs an excavator to dig all that dirt and silt out, great job getting it down to that level!! Post10 fan here, youve definately got great content!!
you might want to use your camera on your stand and grab a shot of from the interior so you can see what it loos like, all that mud and other debris built up against the block will likely be 3+ feet deep.
its weird to see those logs put like that .... straight across and leveled like if was part of the design .... how much time those were there like that ... decades?
Nah, all it takes is a bad flood to set one log in place and then silt will begin to build up, and then another storm and another chance log locking in place. All you see is the logs that stuck there and not the ones that actually washed through the culvert. The narrower the culvert is, the more likely this can happen which is why it never happens on a full blown bridge culvert.
Would really like broader shots, showing a little more overall of the area. Most of us know what water going over a blockage looks like.😊 Just a suggestion, it would be better to see everything your doing.
... this is BEYOND neglect. Was this culvert under some abandoned road or no longer used stretch of railway? That's not even a few YEARS of buildup, its probably decades or more!
you could have brought a chainsaw for when you get to the pieces that was harder to pull out! you could saw down the middle and pushed it down instead of pulling it out and tiring yourself too much
Using a chainsaw on something partially submerged like that is a very bad idea. You don't know what's underneath it like rocks that could damage the chain and perhaps send pieces flying into you.
And a shovel for the silt. Just chucking it into the culvert without enough water volume to take it away is just creating a new mess inside the culvert instead of in the entrace.
Gloves man gloves. You are handling infested things. Great job in difficult situation.👍👍😎
The stonework is Amazing in the old ones you unclog. Thanks Cuz
Love the old stone culvert! It'll be there after the new ones have fallen apart.
Culverts, bridges and ditches…oh my fan here! Love your channel!!
Awesome! Thank you!
The Arcetecture building that culvert, You do not see block built anything anymore, a historical landmark, great video, thumbs up
It’s built beautifully, I love seeing things built with pride, too bad, now days it’s fixed or built for right now with cheap stuff.
Perhaps during a dry spell you can dig out those logs. Glad you are careful and keep up the good work.
Good call!
Hi, that is an old culvert. looks like they used old rails for the structure. nice job once again..
That was a major improvement! Great job.
I think so too!
Good job with those wedged logs!
More huge logs and another much needed culvert clear out. Really enjoy your channel, thanks.
Thanks 👍
Your work ethic is amazing another tough job well done..👍🏻
Thanks 👍
You take us to such different places thanks for the video!
Glad you like them!

Wow those logs looked like they have been stuck there for decades. 😱
Love your content. The community owes you. The state should pay you. Happy Easter 2024
The way those logs were stacked up in that culvert opening almost looks like they were placed there intentionally to create a silt trap.
That's wot I was thinking 🤔
My opinion is that they ended up like that over a long period of time
Two legged beavers?
They wouldn’t have landed straight across if they were randomly there…
would love to see an update after the recent crazy rain falls.
Thanks for caring!
Love the content. You keep rolling logs like that you may want to cancel your gym membership 😉
0:46 "This should be really quick." Famous last words 😁
Always lol

Great job again! Thanks for another awesome video! Stay safe!
Fantastic Job Bud 👍👍👍
Beautiful architecture. They don't make them like they used to.

Nice job. I picked you up when you did the Hudson River twin culverts. You know what you’re doing and you know your physical limit. 😅
Hi from Melbourne Australia 🦘❤️❤️❤️
Hello there!
Thanks!
Thank You!
It’s a beautiful culvert!!
Great job on removing the logs and letting the water flow. You’re getting better at your camera angles. Nice to see you up and about and doing what you like to do. Keep up the good videos
Thanks 👍
I hope there is a part 2, stay safe. Blessings from Tennessee ❤️
This is my favorite video of yours. I would love to see a return to clear more
excellent improvement. u may need to get onto the Public Works Super to get that blockage removed
It's likely DOT related, and that level of build up means at least half a decade of neglect so I wouldn't hold my breath for any help from them.
Prolly needs an excavator to dig all that dirt and silt out, great job getting it down to that level!! Post10 fan here, youve definately got great content!!
Yes he does!!!!
As long as it doesn't reclog the dirt and silt should just erode back to how it was before the clog
Another great video, I am glad you take your safety seriously. Keep em coming.😊😊
Always!
Nice job, man. Well done!
Glad you liked it!

Cool old culver.dont have any things like that in the Arizona desert
Excellent job 👏
Thank you! Cheers!
Great job, enjoy watching your videos 😊
Thank you 🤗
I always look forward to your videos😊 👍
Glad you like them!
Nice work!
Are you sure this wasn't a man made damn? It looks to be pretty well built and the logs are in there perfect.
Whoever is paying taxes in that area certainly aren't getting their money's worth
Fantastic job
Safety first. Job well done!
Always!

Good job brother 👏
Considering the size of the logs you were pulling out, you did a great job! Made me nervous when you got close to the edge.
I enjoyed the closeups. Be careful the water looks awfully swift. See you next time 😊
Those logs weren't meant to be there? Great culvert, those huge pieces, with little ones throughout. Nicely done 🌞
Watching from Manila Philippines ❤
Hello 😊
That looked like quite a dangerous place. Stay safe
What's at the other end of that culvert?
It opens into the Hudson River
@@Grab_your_Waders is there a drop?
@@MTB_Trekker A slight drop exiting the culvert yes.
@@Grab_your_Waders ah, I did wonder if someone was to enter it they may have a bit of a tumble at the other end!
Would really like broader shots, showing a little more overall of the area. Most of us know what water going over a blockage looks like.😊 Just a suggestion, it would be better to see everything your doing.
Noted!
I hope you back here soon to remove all of this.
Great job 👍🏼
Definitely a shovel job with nothing going into the water, the flow wasn't strong enough to take it away.
Looks like part of the old canal system…Erie or Champlain?😊
looks like the logs in that first culvert, or at least one was put there to keep it stable.
New York doesn't maintain their roads. You expect them to clean waterways?
... this is BEYOND neglect. Was this culvert under some abandoned road or no longer used stretch of railway? That's not even a few YEARS of buildup, its probably decades or more!
Would have been nice to see whole job finished
Probably there's no one alive who saw the bottom of that culvert judging by the silt build up
Nah, 10-15 years at most.
There's probably no one alive who saw the culvert get constructed though. a granite box example like that.
I think someone put those logs in front of that to keep a lot of stuff from going through the Culvert
I love how everybody follow Post 10. Post 10 always going to be big leader.
I think that's been blocked a very long time.
For sure!
😊
Great job brother post 10 would have enjoyed that keep up the good work.
Thanks 👍
That culvert seems wide enough for a train track. Maybe they’re responsible for it?
you could have brought a chainsaw for when you get to the pieces that was harder to pull out! you could saw down the middle and pushed it down instead of pulling it out and tiring yourself too much
Using a chainsaw on something partially submerged like that is a very bad idea.
You don't know what's underneath it like rocks that could damage the chain and perhaps send pieces flying into you.
@mnomadvfx not to mention the amount of bar and chain oil you'd put into the water running the saw with the bar in the water.
You should revisit when the level has gone down. Maybe bring an axe.
And a shovel for the silt.
Just chucking it into the culvert without enough water volume to take it away is just creating a new mess inside the culvert instead of in the entrace.
Ну ты даёшь стране угля, может это специально сделали.
That looks placed there, like someone wanted to make a wetland area......
Watch out for needles , where’s your gloves ?
You need to carry a shovel with you and a battery operated chainsaw with you
👍👍👍👍👍🌴🌴🌱🌱🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺
Hello everyone from post 10.
looks like they were placed there on purpose.
I can not loock at such videos. I only get irritated.
Yet here you are :)
@@Grab_your_Waders I watched the beginning, but I had to bail out.
@@rogeraak7281 sorry to disappoint.
Please come back with a chainsaw
