Thank you so much for caring enough about your audience to keep us up to date on your struggles. We're all pulling for you so you can keep us laughing through whatever time we each have left.

I have been through the radiotherapy zap. I am not a bloke but I always seemed to be booked in at the same time as blokes with prostate cancer. It was a laugh a minute in our waiting room listening to the stories about their internal body functions. Good bunch of guys. I got off lightly with only having to drink 450ml of water. Good luck with the treatment. It’ll be done and dusted before you know it.

Hi Jules, thanks for the update, I'm sure I'm not the only one out here who was a bit worried by your absence.
    Cheers👍🏼

I had prostate cancer and chose not to have surgery, but 20 sessions of radiotherapy. Shortly after I started bleeding and when my iron levels dropped very low they announced that they'd burned my bowel with overspray. 8 sessions of inserting a cream in surgery didn't cure it, after 2 years I had two sessions of radio ablation. That's basically sticking a soldering iron up your rectum and sealing the abrasions. But, they can only do this in the insensitive areas above the pectinate line. So, I continue to bleed slightly and continue to wish I'd had surgery. :-)

Good to see you still laughing despite all the indignities!
Good luck with it the remaining sessions - it all sounds a right carry on, but you just have to crack on and get 'em done.
    Best wishes Julian!

Good luck with the remainder of your sessions. It does sound like it's a pain in the arse. I know many people diagnosed with prostate cancer. All have survived the diagnosis.

My father in law lived past 90. When he passed, it had nothing to do with his prostate cancer.

Good video I am 74 had my 37 hits of radiation 2 years ago,yes all us old farts in the waiting area what a show of black humour plus it’s a great lever of men my treatment was at Torbay hospital in Devon all the team driving the equipment look about 12 years old ; but so clever, & caring nothing seems to phase them out and what a job dealing with old boys with pissing problems 😂 the longest minute is the first scan to check your levels and the click of the microphone we did cheat on the enema about 8 of us found that prunes worked better but never told the staff we recon they guessed it !!! I am also a cyclist with 28 years and over 3/4 of a million miles of riding when going through my treatment I would do 10 miles a day on Rouvy helped a lot and took my mind of it all I can say at the end you can piss for England mate 👍🚴

Next time you go in tell the nurse you need the extra large enema.
