Hey Amy ... try sewing your next dorsal skinned critter from the tail-end - forward. The fur doesn't catch nearly as much a sewing from front to back, and it draws the skin together very neatly. It's an older museum method, and written about in many older Taxidermy texts. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll like it. ;)
Getting ready to mount a black coyote a client brought me. Thanks for this useful video. Had to stitch up a large hole from a deer rifle. You do nice work.
Wow, very cool.. I doubt I will ever have the skill or patience to try taxidermy, but i enjoy watching your work :) I have a few skins in my freezer (beaver & raccoon ) that I will hopefully tan/ finish this winter.. I've never done anything like this before..
Fantastic Work!!!!! What do you use for the tongue? I would think that has to be sculpy or putty? Keep up the great work! Found you by accident, now a subscriber!
They’re my best friends! Some people think that’s a cage but it’s not, it’s a barrier from the rest of the shop so they can’t access the animals. There’s a dog door that leads to the outside where they have a huge yard
That’s an assumptive assumption. It may look like a cage but there’s a door on the other side that leads to a play area that leads to a dog door that leads to a big outdoor yard! Thanks for your concern

Since she hasn't answered you order an "artificial jawset" that has are dental hardware and tongue molded to the mouth position you want
I do my own taxidermy work and I was wondering what do you think of pan pastel paints for finish work
Great job. Amazing work.
Looks very good. How much time to do you have before all that glue on the form starts to set up?
Hey amy what do you use to fill in the tail on the metal rod?
Love the video 👍 looking forward to many more. Your an awesome artist 😎
Excellent work
Beautiful. I would love to have a black coyote full body mount.
Do you make the eyes yourself?
Was that a clayed in nose or just some clay on top of the foam
I use clay on the form and inside the nose
Why did you wash it after assembly?
Do you tan your hides first?
How much would you charge for this?
you should hold a couple school sessions a year .,., Id love to learn from somebody with your talent !!
Nice job
Very nice.
What are the dogs in the back for?

My boss would shave my beard with the fleshing machine if I skinned something out with that large of an incision
I don’t have beard nor a boss so it works out!
