Your max range on height is about 2.5 inches. With this hoop arm swap, I’m able to squeeze 2.6-2.75” of heigh on a design out, depending on the design.

I'm so happy I stumbled on your channel. I need to get me one of these! Curious, do you have trouble with too much space between the needle plate and cap? I can't tell on my Redline if I need to adjust the hoop itself or if I'm just not strong enough with the current band to get it tight enough. Are these hard to pull tight?
Thank you for tuning in! You definitely should adjust your hoop to reduce that gap. That’s what causes needle breaks and causes your stitch out not to be as clean as possible. These bands are not hard to pull tight at all. Your original bands should be getting enough grip as well for it not to be the hooping. I have a video on how I dropped my cap driver, I imagine they are a similar design. It’s a video with the clip image as a broken needle. It’s pretty old, closer to the bottom than the top
first thank you for ur tutorials .. ricoma is a great machine but i faced some issues with it .. one is when i set it on a 600 speed its stopped so i decrease the speed to 300 .. but its take too longe to embroider one shirt ..

I wonder if this is why so many people complain about needle breaks on the EM-1010 when doing hats.
The Viso Band won’t help with needle breaks, I had to make adjustments to the machine to achieve that goal
