Not even in years is this epic, it's one thing to like them and another to say that it's epic, so that fanaticism doesn't get the better of you.
For me, concerts in small venues are much better and next month I'm going to see The Warning in a small venue, too bad Band-Maid isn't there too.

Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra have already played at several important festivals and to audiences of 50 or 60 thousand people... But that's not the most important thing for them. If the show is for 200,000 people (as is possible at PolandRock) or in Japan for a thousand people, they will give 100% and will be happy just the same. This interaction with Band Maid is incredible, they are talented young women who share the same dreams. The Japanese love Rock and this will be just the beginning of The Warning in Asia...
The video of Band-Maid & The Warning meeting is one of my favorite videos of all time. And my congratulations to everyone in that area who just kept going on about their business. If I was next to those eight amazing women huddled together I think I would pass-out (even though I'm an old jaded stoic guy not at all prone to celebrity-swooning). Anyway, these two bands have been my obsession for the last year so a collab is incredible, even if on the other side of the world.
The venue Band Maid and TW are playing on June 12, EX THEATER ROPPONGI, is a super nice new high tech auditorium with a capacity of 900 seats and total capacity for 1746 people. TW have played a lot smaller venues, this place is really not that small.
I applied for the ticket lottery as soon as it opened and I'm hoping to get them and make my first trip to Japan extra special !!

I hope so. I have seen them 3 times in small venues in the US. I hope they still do that in the future.
Japan is the second largest music market in the world, so promoting to Japan is important for bands from all over the world. Also, Japanese fans buy CDs, so it's a very important market for bands.

I hope they play Queen of the Murder Scene, korosu, korosu, korosu... that might impress the japanese crowd. But I am sure they will be impressed no matter what DPA choose to play. And I guess I have something in common with Daniela, Paulina, Alejandra, Saiki, Akane, Misa, Kanami, and Miku... I like The Warning and Band-Maid, just like them 😁🤘

I haven’t been able to get into the Warning, at least not yet, but I’m happy this is happening. It should benefit both bands.
I suggest that you start watching their full Metropolitan Theater video. It has perfect quality.
They don't have a lead guitarist, they have everything else. If they ever get the one thing they are missing they would be really good.

Hát nekem sincs pénzem elmenni Japánba, de a The Warning miatt elutaztam Münchenbe, ami Németország legdrágább városa. Mondhatom, nem bántam meg, életem egyik legszebb hétvégéje volt a bajor fővárosban. Szerintem a japán zenekaroknak is érdemes lenne Európában koncertezni, mert itt sokan ki vannak éhezve a színvonalas hard rock és metál zenékre, a gitárszólókra. Sajnos nálunk most nem ez a trendi, hanem elsősorban a nyálas, álérzelmes zenék népszerűek, amelyek mögött nincs hitelesség. A metál képviselői pedig általában fantáziátlanok, lelketlenül nyűvik a gitárt, ahelyett, hogy olyan virtuózzá válnának mint a japánok. Annak pedig nagyon örülök, hogy a The Warning és a Band-Maid együtt koncertezik!
The Warning comes to Paris on April 18 in a concert hall of 900 people maximum. It's not very big but it's not bad. In addition, they do not yet have a great reputation in France and rock is no longer the most listened to genre.🤷♂

Hopefully the fact that they first like each other will help as they craft a performance. The thing that will be interesting is how they work out the instrumentation - IF - they play a song together. I have to believe that they will work it out so that we - their fans (of both groups) will have a fantastic Okuji.

I know it isn't the majority, and there is a significant overlap of fans. OG TWA member here, but love the Maids. It appears that the ladies like and respect each other.

I think their music styles are to different. Not sure how The Warning is going to make any money at a concert like that after flying 1/3 of the way across the planet and bringing their 25? person crew with them.

You know nothing about music, Japan has the second largest music market in the world, bigger than all of Europe combined. Japan's market size is incomparably larger than Mexico's, and is the second largest after the United States. That's why all the western bands come to Japan to promote themselves and release Japan-only CDs. Japanese bands may not be well known around the world, but they make more money selling only domestically than bands from every country except America. Even Bandmade makes a lot more money than Warning. That's why bands come all the way to Japan, don't you know anything about music?
@@novrinkov0053 don't they make their most money from concerts and merchandise? They played a couple of concerts for 800 people and the one with BandMaid there's no way in hell they made any money. They probably make two or three dollars for every CD they sell, even if they sell tens of thousands if CDs in Japan that would not even pay for the airfare. I think BandMaid is fine I just don't like the song they made together.

The neg comments about TW are from absolute ignorance. There's a reason Lzzy Hale and Muse both gifted guitars to lead vocalist/guitarist Dany. Both said The Warning are amazing as have Metallica. Just maybe there's a reason Metallica put TW's re-work of Enter Sandman as the first track on their 30th Anniversary Black Album record.

@@darkz-up I don't think they're worried about not being super stars in Mexico. With their song Narcisista, they told people who whine about them not doing enough songs in Spanish to f**k off. But they have enough hard core fans in Mexico to sell out 9000 seat venues. The Warning don't kiss anybody's ass.

I think this is a missed opportunity for both of them. Play a larger venue and let The Warning open for them to introduce them to more people. Could have been a big event. Seems to me that Japanese record companies do everything they can to hold their artists back and shoot themselves in the foot by having such a stranglehold on everything and wanting to control every aspect.

Well, maybe a missed opportunity, but for who exactly? Band-Maid has already played in some big venues like Lollapalooza and Rockville and of coarse Bukadan, which is a major big deal.
This seems like it might be more important for The Warning to gain some Japanese fans. Band-Maid really can just be there as support.
band maid fans who want to know what the ladys from japan will learn from the warning, pay attention now , when thay sit down to talk the first thing the maids will want know is this, how the hell did you get a five album deal with your label and still keep control of your music and image, no band has ever done that with a big label, the maids Managment co is in charge..

The warning aren't even close to their league, so a good step up for them, I guess.
Perhaps you are referring to how fast they don't play. Yet, The Warning are selling out in Europe. I suspect that they both have much to learn from each other. The most interesting part will be what happens when they are alone together, away from the cameras.

She is not the best female guitarist in japan but the skills and technique of kanami is a million miles away from dany's guitar skills, and yet you have the guts to say that there is something that kanami is gonna learn from dany,, that's one hell of a joke.. Dany cannot even play what kanami can play on the guitar,, and I am 100% sure about that,, if you really think that they are better with band instruments than bandmaid all of their songs will be different,, its so stupid to think that you are a good lead guitarist and you will not put a good guitar riffs and complex guitar solo on your song considering that you are labeling your songs as hard rock..

Nemophila or lovebites is a good choice, not some lame riffs and basic drumming from the warning,, i want to see a guitar battle from the best female guitarists in japan,, kanami, miyako, midori, saki and hazuki,, a bass battle between misa, fami and haraguchi-san,, and also those drummers like akane, tamu and haruna,, that would be epic.. I want them to make a statement to those the warning fans what rock/metal music is all about,, not those power chords , basic bass lines and lame drum fills..
@@akatzukianlunIf you really don't know who Scandal is, don't think, it is one of the most important bands in Japan, they are part of the beginning of female bands in Japan, where they perform they have massive sellouts, more than the bands you mentioned. It's not what they like outside of Japan, it's what they like in Japan. It's a pity that BM invited that group.
@@darkz-up i know scandal,, i listen to some of their songs,, iam also a fan of silent siren, the peggies and gacharic spin, ,its not about whats big in japan,, the taste for music is what matters to me,, BM is a hard rock band i think it would be better if they plays with other hard rock or metal band for a concert..

It is one of the most important industries in the world, its Japanese fandom invests large amounts of money, more than foreigners, they do care about their artists, the truth is their bet is not very good, they may invite another Japanese group, to be more recognized in Japan. They are not a TOP band in Japan either.
