- That's from a karaoke competition that took place in a shopping mall this September (yeah, that's a great choice for a song to sing in a shopping mall, yeah, I know :)
I was very worried. I can do better, but still here you are.
P.S.: I have nothing to do with the band on the stage, especially with the sax player. This band improvised at the stage with every contestant.
I can tell she is a tool fan
What gave it away?
Am I the only person who thinks the saxophone totally fits? It adds a whole new layer to the song that I never knew that I needed to hear.

I also like singing apc in the rock karaoke bar in St.P. called Poison. This is a cool place to visit if you are going to St.P.
I mean everybody believes that Russia is a wild place with never ending winter and bears. One should visit the country and stop believing the way they depict Russians and Russia in American films.)

я сам узнал о группе три года назад, на каком то американском форуме... в одном из постов было следующее: детишки, фанаты нирваны, до tool вам надо еще дорасти. в одном из комментов далее было "нирвана, это эмоционально ярко, энергично... но, примитивно". - и действительно, музыка нирваны, как шампанское... пена сойдет быстро. от себя добавлю, что первый комментатор был прав. такую музыку начинаешь понимать с возрастом. там есть и энергетика, и эмоции, и технически сложные для исполнения как вокальные партии, так и инструментальные.

She had the right emotionality for this song - which the other cover's I've heard don't get. You can see the emotion in the body posture, just like you can with Maynard, and I think you have to in order to get the right emotionality of the song.

@@SashaGolubitskaya Maynard is one of the most difficult artists to replicate. You clearly have it in you to do it. I think he would be proud. He, sort of, set down a challenge for anyone to try to do what he can do. Not many have even tried. I think yours is truly the best attempt.

@@SashaGolubitskaya у меня скорее такое ощущение, что это больше не совпадение, сколько эмоционально Sober бьёт именно подбным же образом. По крайней мере, это ощущалось именно не копированием, а пропуском песни через себя, отчего те же эмоции были)

I agree, Maynard's vocals are difficult I'd imagine, be like someone trying to sound like Bruce Dickinson the lead singer from iron maiden which by the way are my absolute favorite metal band, phenomenal band.
