I've been following your channel for what is nearly 3 years now, I just checked. It looks like everything is coming together really well, many congratulations, it's very inspiring to see you sticking at this through all the tough times and getting it going. Imagine where you will be in another 3 years!
That's the mentality you have to try and keep throughout the process. No single change will be giant, but over time, it's a big difference.

@@VanKeurenpyrotechnics I went through the old videos to find the earliest one I remember: "So... I Bought an Abandoned Racetrack." I really like Urbex and Car videos, so it makes sense this popped up, given it has "Abandoned" & "Racetrack" in the title. I subbed and I have the email notification for Part 4 when they found the second track, June/July 2021. Time flies.
I'm another watcher from back when the track was abandoned, run down and looked like too big a project to every bring it back. Congratulations! Few people would take on a project this size and far fewer who would succeed.
Been watching from the beginning, You've got something to be proud About. 🙂

Congrats on the sign. Labeling the top of a picnic table with a sponsor is one way to get exposure. You could also logo them with your brand. IMO move them further away from the portaapots
Fair point on moving them further from the portapots. Our food vendor, tables, and toilets in that location share a flat area that's out of the way of everything. Moving the Toilets elsewhere makes sense.
Now, you can add an events board at the front, and get some "free" advertising as people drive by.
I'll be in the States with work this year, I hope, so if I can squeeze in a visit from Edinburgh, Scotland, then I will! Watched this series from the start and really enjoyed it. Great work!

Kudos from a 64 year old Canadian that has absolutely no clue about cars, but enjoys watching all forms of racing and the incredible talent it takes from all concerned. Not a big fan of drifting, enjoy it for 15 minutes at a go, but Mad Respect for the Thousands of hours you have put in and the $$$$$, to make your style of enjoyment alive and well in a former "Dead Zone for car enthusiasts". Hope you can get some other types of racing going as well on the property down the road. Will check out your "Swag". Cheers.

Ha, fair enough. I'll be the first to admit it isn't the most exciting motorsport to watch, but as a driver it's huge fun. You just have to try it sometime if you get the chance
@@Greenlightfilming Maybe extend the track to the rest of the land and with partly OFF ROAD options so you can also do Rally Cross events .... and in the middle of the oval make a kart track which uses part of the main oval as part of the track and organize kart events also....

It was such a perfect day! Thanks Brian for putting on these events and resurrecting this old track. Everyone is so helpful and awesome to talk to... Good vibes all around. Shout out to the volunteers that make it happen. These events will be on my calendar for years to come!
Been following you for a while and it’s cool seeing all the progress. Fun fact, the corvettes by your sign at the 8:00 mark i think have my front bumper canards on them. Pretty cool!

I can remember when it was an overgrown paddock with a pond deep enough for the 'Watcher In The Lake'.
You now have a facility like the gates to Mordor. Also, you get in the same way, "Say "Friend" and enter ".

Picnic tables are so simple yet so welcoming. Nice touch.

Yes, still want to bring back karting. That's sort of out of my hands, as it's being promoted by another person.
Will see what develops with that.
Eventually having a covered picnic area like what we see in city parks would really make the area inviting for both the people in the area and folks passing through, but that kinda lumber is probably very expensive, would take a lot of donations and events to get that ball rolling...But hey, Ya already got a couple tables! Fkn AWESOME!
I totally agree, and funny you mention it. The pavilions you see at city parks are exactly what I'd like to put over the tables.
It all comes down to money at the end of the day.
That’s so cool what you got going on there. Close to me We got Virginia International Raceway (VIR) which is a much larger scale. I went to Duluth a couple years ago and Picked up a truck we bought from up there. I took a hoodie incase it was cold it was 20 below. That Falcon is way too clean to be putting it on a track. But as some people believe it’s gotta earn its keep.

Loving the progress that has been made to get to where we are now. Though I can't help but wonder about the old dirt track and any plans for that, would love to see a new dirt oval with the potential to bring in midget, sprint car, late model and modified shows
Awesome video. I really enjoyed it. Maybe start live streaming the autocross events and maybe even eventually start charging a fee to watch. It looks like you have a process to keep things going at a fast enough pace to keep things really interesting. Driver interviews. Detailed videos of the car's mods, if any. The rules. All things that people watching would be interested in, besides just the laps.
Live streaming would be a good option for sure. The Summit Racing crew does a good job of that during Autocross Week. It's not live, but the video they produce each day is exactly the format you described.
Congrats on how far you've come along with the track and I wish you the very best in what's to come! Hopefully someday as my wife and I are traveling in our rv, we can come by and check out the track.
Track needs to be about a mile or 2 longer . Baby steps!

I'm glad to see you have a much different layout for the race course this event. I was worried that you might be kinda of be pinned into it always having to be pretty much the exact same course layout for every show due to the condensed, and very specific footprint of the paved areas. The more layouts you can come up with, the better; Variety is the spice of the life, and the it'll help keep the competitors entertained and coming back for more.

It's amazing seeing so many people and different cars show up! Nothing but the best will come for BRMP! Here's a thought, in the future you could have a car lift installed somewhere, so people can fix their cars if something happens. On track repair 😁
I have actually considered that, yes. Would potentially put it in a versatube style steel building near the track. It wouldn't cost a fortune
@@Greenlightfilming Just please, please, don't cheap out on fire prevention. Like, just in a recent 2 year time, several known car shops around the globe burned down.
Depending on weather you can get the C-Boys and Hailey Deegan on opening day will make or break you. Well maybe just the C-Boys because they are nearby and want to do a drift event.

@hippyjason I think I understand what he meant, but insurance, and permitting were in no way guaranteed to work.
In fact, a dozen neighbors did come out to meetings and didn't want this to happen. I don't run a "drama" channel, so none of it was filmed.
Insurance is near impossible to get for this sort of track with the budget we have. They don't need, and generally, don't want your business.
