      @@tunetownmusic-l2fyou know what that means? YOU get to do the superior dance! The subject of a sentence is assumed when it’s not explicitly stated, but can be inferred from the context or verb form. This is most common in imperative sentences, which are commands, requests or instructions. Example in the sentence ‘Stop!’ The subject of the sentence is assumed to be the person the speaker is talking to. Where as you don’t have a clue the original comment not only understands this concept, but naturally and smoothly filled it in

    Despite all the Ancient Rome and Greece content that has been made in the last 25 years because of the success of Gladiator, I still think Gladiator remains the best. I'd say the series Rome comes in second.

    Cicero replies, “Sometimes I do what I want to do, other times I do what I have to.”

    Gladiator is a near perfect movie and not just for the battle & gladiator scenes. Well deserving of best picture and best actor!

    It’s funny he calls it “full snot” because I literally think about the string of drool/snot that sticks to his wife’s feet as he’s crying in rhymed scene basically every time I think about that scene and movie. I always wondered how intentional it was, and though this clip doesn’t exactly say it was, it certainly seems feasible now. And it is a great scene in a great move.
    And on a related note, the score as he’s hauling ass on that horse before he gets thrown is incredible. That whole sequence is amazing.

    • @uncleal3451
      @uncleal3451 16 днів тому +2

      I wouldn't call it a "mess." That's unduly harsh. I went in knowing it wouldn't surpass the first one (which, frankly, is a common sense stance), and, I still enjoyed it for what it was -- an entertaining spectacle that paid due homage to its predecessor where needed, but, that stood on its own.

    • @magnacz
      @magnacz 2 місяці тому +3

      That is silly Charlie Rose was a very experienced good interviewer with the most famous guests. What he did privately trying to get into young women's pants has nothing to do with his professional talent.

    • @lwaliz

      @@magnacz Who cares about professional talent when faced with a predator at the workplace? WTF are you talking about? Silly? I think not. Also, I would never dignify him by repeating his name, I find him that disgusting. Get it?

    • @magnacz
      @magnacz Місяць тому +2

      @@lwaliz you don't seem to get what his carrier was about in medicine, science, politics, film, artists just to mention a few of the fields that he worked in. He didn't molest children or intimidate employees. He probably became older and not as successful with women as he had been in his younger days. He tried it on with interns as far as the reports go. Adults who were able to say no thank you not interested. Try to imagine when a lesbian is pursuing another women who is not interested. Nothing disgusting just knocking on the wrong door and lack of judgment. As far as I know he was never convicted in a court of law of any crime. Why so full of hate ?

    • @lwaliz
      @lwaliz Місяць тому

      @@magnacz That's a ridiculous minimization of the abuse of power, various acts of sexual misconduct including harassment, groping, and making lewd phone calls. The accusations, which were made in a report in The Washington Post, dealt with conduct from the late 1990s to 2011. Zero tolerance is the only way this can be eliminated from the culture. You think you can bully me by calling me silly and hateful? Think again. Shame on you. Maybe when your mother/wife/daughter will be exposed to sexual harassment in a job upon which their livelihood is dependent then you might start to appreciate the gravity of those actions.

    • @magnacz

      His producer and editor was female for decades. His interviews with women was nuanced and respectful. You are throwing out the baby with the bathwater. He couldn't have lasted that long if he wasn't exceptional as an interviewer. Gail King worked with him towards the end and had no idea about his bad behavior.
