“Cicero, do you find it hard to do your duty?” Cicero replies, “Sometimes I do what I want to do, other times I do what I have to.” A perfect description of life itself. Gladiator is a near perfect movie and not just for the battle & gladiator scenes. Well deserving of best picture and best actor!
Thank you for posting!
Despite all the Ancient Rome and Greece content that has been made in the last 25 years because of the success of Gladiator, I still think Gladiator remains the best. I'd say the series Rome comes in second.
I'd love to know who that director at the end was, the one who walked off his set.
just been missing Gladiator lately
The best movie
I’ve watched a few interviews with Russell, and he is such a colourful story teller. No wonder he’s such a brilliant actor.
I love this interview about Down in the Valley, thank youuu so much for uoloading this ❤
He's absolutely gorgeous 😍

The following is a summary of Mendes’ full 10-part list, which has been lightly edited here for clarity. 1. Get in touch with your inner 12-year-old. He or she was such an interesting kid. 2. You can only ever point the camera at one thing at a time. 3. You’re playing roulette with someone else's money. If you're going to bet it all on black you need to be able to explain why. 4. Making an action sequence is only interesting when you're in the cutting room. Up until then, it is literally the most tedious thing you will ever do. 5. On the day, be prepared. But also be prepared to make stuff up. 6. When you're choosing collaborators, do not listen to people who tell you, “Yes, but I've never done a big movie.” If they're any good, they will learn just like I did. 7. Learn to tune out the white noise. You cannot please everyone. 8. Tarantino, Spielberg, Nolan, Scorsese, Paul Greengrass, JJ Abrams and Paul Thomas Anderson all still shoot on film. There is a reason. 9. You're trying to surf the big wave so be prepared to be wiped out. But when you catch it, it feels like nothing else. 10. When you get excited don't be afraid to leap out of your chair and sing the Bond theme.
Who is the host? He did a really good job breaking down themes and characters of the film
Charlie Rose. Great interviewer.
They really butcher his last name.
What you talkin about? Denny Vilnoov is my favourite director.

He’s The Co Host Of At The Movies A.O.Tony Scott
Mi sembra che Daniel sia un po’ intimorito dalla presenza di Sheridan, ma non erano amici.
Ma come fa quest’uomo ad essere così affascinante? Forse anche perché è così modesto? È grande invece!
