I waited 9 months after ordering to get mine and absolutely love it! The tech is pretty amazing for Ford's first all electric vehicle. The Bluecruise works great! Very comfortable ride also. Love the one pedal driving too. I think it's one of the best looking EV's out right now.
Keep in mind, regen braking strength is determined by what mode you’re in. In whisper it’s subtle and in unbridled it’s actually too strong. Same goes with steering. Very light in whisper but very tight in unbridled.
Cool Video, of course the Hyundia IONIQ 5, Kia EV...... are all good cars, but I'm even more excited for other Types of Cars like the ID.Buzz or the Ford F150, hopefully you'll have the chance to review them too. 👍
Owned both ID.4 (pro) and Mach-e (premium) which were pretty comprable in price/etc. Only thing I liked better in ID.4 was better turning radius and longer range (did not pay for extra battery on Mach-e). I found the build quality much better in Ford Mach-e. Id.4 doors seemed flimsy to me compared to the mach-e. lots of plastic in ID.4 feels cheap and some sharp edges (turn signal, interior door handles/pulls, etc). The ID.4 does not have US rear license plate holder. They literally drive holes in plastic bumper and install the plates (just seems cheap). ID.4 was fun to drive especially with tighter turning radius...but we got rid of it because so many things you touch, etc felt cheap and odd. We got rid of the ID.4 and kept the Ford Mach-e. Test drive both. They are both nice... but personally think Mach-e is a better build/quality than ID.4 (And I was never a Ford fan).
I agree with a lot of your points. I do think the mach e is ahead of the id4 right now in most things except handling. It's a bit squirrely imo. Tires are too narrow. Thanks for watching!
Just keep the physical climate controls. Can stand that touch screen, rented a Ford Edge and couldn’t stand it. I ordered a Mach e so hopefully I get used to it.
You can but I believe the controls right now of what is available are limited. I personally do not like using voice commands like this in any car, as they always seem not to work right and can be frustrating at times.
All I heard was babbling about what you didn't like about it and it came across as very biased. Maybe that's why it was named this best EV to buy by Consumers Reports.
I can't comment on others, but I did it in hopes to be helpful for those cross-shopping other EVs. I compared the Mach-E to my ID4 as well. Yes, they are different sizes, price points, etc. But many are hoping to just get into a new EV and price may only be one factor. If I don't benchmark the vehicle, how do potential buyers know what "semi-soft" suspension means, for example?
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words! I agree, I refuse to pay markup on any car. If you can wait, next year should be a better market to buy.
Yeah those skinny tires are bad. They look bad, no wonder they perform bad too. Interior looks good, but the seats look too flat, not enough bolstering. And the vertical screen looks laggy as well.
The center screen isn't as laggy as I expected. However, it is one of those screens where the lag is inconsistent, which can be frustrating in some cases. I also noticed an odd lag in the rearview camera during my second day with the car. I'd say it is a good EV overall by Ford, but they have a few things to address for it to become an elite contender.
What do you think about the Mustang Mach E? Have you driven one? Do you own one? Would you consider it? Let me know! Thank you for watching! :)

@@DK-pr9ny congratulations! How did you configure yours?
@@evhelphub Premium AWD extended range
Just ordered a Mach E and canceled the order on a Audi Q4.

VW’s reputation and lack of inventory to test drive pushed me away from the brand. Ordered a Mach-E a few weeks ago.
Congratulations on the order! How did you configure your Mach-E?
@@evhelphub Thanks! Premium, RWD, Extended Range Battery, Iced Blue Silver Metallic, Black Interior.
Awesome! How long did they tell you before it arrives?
@@evhelphub 28 weeks….
Well, it will be beautiful summer when it arrives! ;)
At least it's not a VW..Plus it has Voice controls for a lot of the functions...

Thank you, Rick! I will do my absolute best to get my hands on all of them. I am excited to get into the ID Buzz especially! :)
Id buzz it's like perfect practical car that everybody wants 🤩 hopefully VW will start new trend with this cute bus🐐
I'm looking forward to the unveiling in March. Might even have to get an order in. ;)

The dial on the screen is one of the car’s best features!! FOH!!

Also, can you voice control HVAC?

When did you order the car?
This isn't my personal vehicle. I do not currently have one on order.
Y, Y, Y, Y, Y, do reviewers keep saying Y? Just evaluate the car and report on the features, quality, and driving experience.

I love the car but only thing I didn’t like about it is paying a premium on this car

@@evhelphub i 100% agree to what you said. But i already bought and paid a markup 🥺
