@@D.A.G.B. I did not make the top 100, a lot of good ones. So many entries I can see how they become a blur trying to look at all of them. I put a one min loop of my entry on my channel so I could fix anything.
If you have maxed out your RAM, you could always split your scene into 2 and render the background separately from the foreground, which means you can double the amount of stuff in your scene by filling the RAM twice. You could easily go one step further and take out the stuff that is the furthest away from the camera, render it once and then add it in in compositing to get more render performance out of it. There is no need to render stuff in the background every frame if you have no (drastic) change in perspective (which is always the case with objects far away). Just create a subtle parallax effect in post and be done with it.
Although there is a lot of great content, the stream lacks accessibility. I have to scan for relevant points. I can’t sit though 3+ continuous hours. I would recommend, if you do these extended live streams. Break them up into bite size chunks, afterwards, (like 20 minutes) and post them as well, or bookmark the entire stream. Perhaps do it for patreon members to drive membership

I'm glad that doing this full time is already paying off for you. I see so many reddit posts lately and memes about not knowing who Pwnisher is lol. That's gonna change real fast.
Its been only 2 months for me in this community but Im happy with what I created its so simple and unique at least for me and some others I showed in the discord Im not sure if Im going to be in the montage becuase I have some little minuses but yes It was a great way to learn new stuff and fun way too.
You should put your entry in your channel. I'd love to see it. Some of you youngsters are super talented. Willie comes to mind. That kid has talent and I'm sure you do also!
Your entry was awesome Clint. My only issue was with the platform and the inertia of the guys gait as he was walking toward it. It was like he hadnt seen the platform was about to end, as you were leaning quite far forward in the mocap. It was amazing though and I can only dream that one day my stuff comes out that beautifully. (The Shrek retold movie idea is really good. You could have a comp to determine who makes the cut out of like 20 artists and then move into the main project)
Hey, congrats man, u made the right choice, we can see truth in there, what u are doing is amazing so cool to see your job in such a raw way, thats a live of an artist, so much passion in that work, we are proud, (im from brazil, sorry for bad english, some grammar errors are inevitable) you are inspirmg me every day! ;)
Im wondering, will there be another challenge this year? I started blender last year and am filled with projects right now, but I would love to showcase what I learned in the past 9 months in blender for a next challenge :)

I really hope you make more concise tutorials for the future. Not to say we're not appreciative of your work you're doing with this channel already but it'd be a lot more useful for many people to get a nicely edited concise tutorial. Your video title is super broad for the topic you're tackling and not every can sit through 3 and a half hours of a live stream to possibly find a handful of answer they're looking for man. And I get it, streaming the creative process is far easier to do for consistent uploads but if I'm being perfectly honest the moment I see that these are live streams I just don't end up watching them whether they're live or not. If you timestamps and very clear 'sections' for each video that people could skip to that would be so much better. All in all keep doing what you're doing but please consider some of these points, thank you.
This is a MasterClass, not a tutorial. Master class is a high level experience given by a master. There are thousands of tutorials for beginner and intermediary skill levels. This, is a masterclass,, taught by an individual at that level, as *Specifically* stated in the title
@@faradaysinfinity yes and you can have a concise master class. I never said anything about making anything intermediate. Just because something is labeled as “master level” doesn’t mean it can’t have a concise structure. Look at CG shortcuts. Their channel is bite sized tutorials on C4D for things that are pretty complex, or Ian Hubert who makes the “lazy tutorial series” where it’s clearly scripted and cut to tell you exactly what you need. This current format is not what I’m describing or asking for.
@@faradaysinfinity I'm not going to get into this fight with you. We both know there are other revenue sources for creators such as patreon and sponsorships. Yes you can pay for a masterclass on other platforms but what I'm asking for is a structured video. My main complaint in my first comment is that there's no easy way to find what you need in this video. There are no timestamps or chapters. As someone who works in the creative industry in post production my time is valuable. If I need to find something I need it now. I can't sit through 3 hours of a video to find the one answer I need. Yes this video covers more than 1 thing but imagine if you had a project you needed to finish and this video contained the answer, yet you'd have to scrub through it in its entirety to find it. At that point I'd just click away and find the answer somewhere else. You do get what I'm saying right? I'm not taking these videos for granted but I wanted to give some input on making these better for more people. If you don't like that answer I don't know what to tell you.
